Goodfella.
Well looking forward to it. I hear you get to play as Chris again, that'll rock.
Greene
Strangely, unlike most people, I disliked Resident Evil 4. I thought it was overrated. I loved every other Resident Evil and I've played every one. I'm looking forward to Resident Evil 5, I just hope it's alot different to Resident Evil 4. wade1972
One thing I read about RE5 was that the "hero" (you) would be affected by the weather in the game..there's going to be snow, rain, etc. So if it's cold, your charecter will shiver, etc... I look forward to this game..I was blown away by 4, and I think they are trying to top that one in 5, so I'm sure we're in for a hell of a game. papanesta
That'll be mad! Trying to aim while shivering, or zombies lurking in rain drenched streets!

I believe it's the opposite. The game will take place in a desert climate and you can't be in the open for too long due to the heat. Play has also said that according to the producers, the player's body temperature will play a large role. The player will have to find places to cool down in order to avoid the heat making it harder to shoot due to hallucinations and mirages appearing and the main character being unstable. Additionally, the same magazine suggests the presence of more interactive environments that are vital to the player's survival.
Kippers
I got RE4 ages ago and quite liked it until i got stone bored of it. RE5 looks pretty good though. Yano, from the one trailer we've seen... I'm sure it will be good. 習うより慣れろ
Twang of Cauliflower
I played RE4 a lot for about 5 months straight. It is rather kick ass. Anyone see the RE5 screen leaks at YTMND?
B Rob
I think what separate RE4 from the rest was that RE4 had much more action and less puzzles. The little town at the beginning was crazy with all the Chainsaw people. I was on the edge of my seat trying to get away from them lol. Where is RE5 taking place? Seddo
I have never actually played any Resident Evil game before, but i did like watching them, solving the puzzles pissed me off so i liked watching other people get pissed off. I heard that they have made the camera a whole lot better now, that was something i hated about the old Resident Evil games.

Kiyohime
I'm really looking foward to playing RE5. The series was my first favorite survival horror series (and still is). Just curious though... I've heard three different rumors about the zombies in this game.. 1- They're a crossover between regular zombies and ganados 2- they're Crimson Heads 3- They're regular zombies but more challenging - as in they actually do run and are more vicious like the ones in the movie "28 Days Later" Which is it? :\ Edited February 24, 2007 by Kiyohime

I didn't try Resident Evil 4 right away because of that but finally ended up getting it for the PS2 and I enjoyed it a lot.
Colanbarry
Would be pretty sweet if it came out soon. I hope that capcom will make some use of the online availability on 360 and ps3 , like some sort of co-op.

I hope that capcom will make some use of the online availability on 360 and ps3 , like some sort of co-op. They have already tried taking Resident Evil online with the Outbreak series. I don't think they should focus on multi-player with the fifth installment because it might take away from the actual game. Gears of War is a good game, but it's short.....it was made for online play. I don't want Resident Evil 5 to be like that. I want them to continue the story....and bring back those zombies. That would be nice. Edited February 25, 2007 by sainraja
