2 questions

Hello I'm new to this forum and I tried to perform a search but no luck with finding answers. So here goes:

 

i.) Is ammo infinite? I'm currently collecting 100 hidden packages and am based at Skumole Shack. Now there is a Uzi 9mm at the stairs of the Skumole Shack I'd conveniently pick up before heading out for missions. I'm not getting a limit here, currently I have 590-30 bullets. Is there a cap for the various ammo filled weapons in Vice City?

 

ii.) The only way to get a Police Uniform (and thus easy access to Fort Baxter Air Base) is to wait for The Malibu Mission "No Escape" to be available as it unlocks the Police uniform for Tommy to change into? Are there any easier ways to get into Fox Baxter Air Base short of spotting a police uniform for disguise?

You can get more ammo then the game can display, but there is no upward limit that you should be able to reach... infinite ammo is a reward for 100%-- its not really infinite, each round you fire just goes back in the clip...

 

"No escape" doesn't unlock the uniform, but it is available in that mission-- and as long as you don't change out of it, die, or get busted, you can keep it---

 

The Vercetti mission "copland" unlocks the uniform, it will be in the police station in the same place as in "no escape"-- you can do either mission first-- the mission "shakedown" opens up the asset missions-- you can do assets or continue the vercetti missions at that point.

 

It is possible to enter fort baxter on foot and explore and get the hunter without the uniform, but you need to keep moving and know your way around-- not very forgiving if you run into a dead end--

That clears things up quite a bit. I'd just like to clarify I'm do not have 100% completion rate, I meant I am in the middle of collecting hidden packages so I can have some fun with the Rhino and the Hunter. I'm going try to advance the main storyline now so I can get "Copland" over and done with ^^.
