but in cutscenes he has the regular skin.

2. I want to change some markers on radar, I change it, then replace it but when I want to save it says that it can't create directory in folder.

1. you must open CSplay.txd to change it not player.txd because that doesnt do anything.

2. i dont understand that quite, whould you care to explain more?

For Ammunation you see a gun on radar, for a Pay'n'spray you see a spray.

I changed that and when I want to save, I can't.

It always says that it cannot create a directory.

I have a similar problem (figured it would be best if I didn't make a new thread for a similar problem).,

I'm using a new player model for tommy (converted GTAIII player model) and it works fine in game. However, I've been trying to get it to work in the cut scenes. The model works fine in the cut scenes (renamed the player.dff to CSplay.dff, replaced the default CSplay.dff after backing it up), but the texture won't show up in the cut scenes, so all I see is a white player model with no texture.

and yes I did remember to replace the default CSplay.txd using Vice TXD

Do i need to extract the CSplay.txd from gta3 img file and then edit it with vice TXD, or can I just open the gta3 img file in vice TXD and edit the CSplay file from there?

I've run into this problem before and managed to get it to work, but I've since forgotten how to get it to work.

mmm, that depends... either you're naming the texture as something it isn't named as... (for ex, in CSPlay.txd your texture is named as CSplay and the player.dff you downloaded is supposed to use a texture that is named "player" or something)

Or... it could be that the player.dff you downloaded is just set up to grab any textures it can find (to use skins...) so it doesn't have an assigned texture.

If you want, pm me the model and i'll provide you with a csplay.txd and dff that for sure are going to work.

For the first guy... did you try to uncheck the read-only atribute (Sp?) on hud.txd?

bye
