The only thing that I hate about it is that you can only watch the same joke 2 or 3 times before it isn't funny, due to the fact that they just grab some random sh*t that is way out of context and just throw it in there, which makes it a bit predictable. It is very predictable but very random, which makes up for the predictable. Overall, the show is pretty good and I watch it weekly. I mean I still laughed a lot at some of the episodes from the beginning of the season but then after a few of them most of the episodes became pretty lame with only like 1 or 2 parts making me laugh really. I mean, seriously, would you prefer Scrubs? I for one would choose Scrubs over Family guy anyday. Scrubs is just genuinely funny the whole time while Family guy relies on extreme randomness and "Tihs is worse than the time...." flashbacks. Don;t get me wrong I love it but I much prefer Scrubs. But it's still better than much of everything else out there, and it held the fort while the Simpsons was going through their really sh*tty period. You nailed it on the f*cking head God, I hated it when everyone was singing Peanut Butter Jelly Time, it was so annoying. Personally, I prefer the old episodes. They were much funnier. Now, the show relies on shock too much. HAHA HE HIT HER IN THE HEAD WITH A BAT AND CALLED HIM A STUPID BASTARD OMFG HE FELL DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS. I got no problem with the "remember the time when" moments, they're funny. I believe the episodes are watchable, but not as funny as before. There are still some moments that make me chuckle. Some of the jokes drag on for far too long though. I also hate how they made Peter really f*cking retarded. Some of the humor based on his retardation isn't that funny. The first new season after its revival had some good and bad episodes, and after that I just stopped watching the new ones altogether (i.e. "Petergeist", or whatever that one was called; terrible episode). I also don't like how they've turned Stewie from a manical baby genius to a gender-confused metrosexual, chiefly because there are only so many "Stewie might be gay" jokes you can make before it loses its value. However, over time, they've not changed the show dynamic for so long that the majority of the jokes now are just a random throw-back to something with a hit-or-miss scene to accompany it. There's also a theme-twist in every episode... You can count on the plot of a show completely changing at least once mid-way. What the show has in quirky, off-the-top-of-the-head comedy, it seriously lacks plot out-line. On top of that I hate the character development... The only character whom they've kept a "constant" personality for is Meg, as the ugly chick--we get it, she's ugly and has no friends. Considering how they changed Stewie from a maniacal madman bent on world destruction and killing his mother, into some gender-confused fool whose basic roles usually amount to implications of homosexuality, or sex-based folly. There are better shows than Family Guy, but it's still funny to catch a new episode every once in a while. I much prefer Futurama, myself. My favorite ones are Mario goes to VC, Who Killed Santa?, Dragonball Z Chrostmas Special, Beavis and Butt-Head meets the Teen Titans, Heathcliff vs. Garfield.
