How about a birthday topic. you know just post the names of members having birthdays and than the congrats afterwards? I think it would result in a lot less spam topics in general chat. Yeah he does but I think it would be a pretty good thing as it would leave less topic's everywhere in the general-chat and well it would be a good topic to pin up in the general chat. So I think you might as well give it a try SMB and if know one likes it, it will be locked but if it's a hit it probably will be pinned. Although just reading over what MMFF said I could imagine if someone made a birthday topic for me... I would feel pretty special. Every once in a while, a n00b tries to "fix" things (myself included) and the idea is shot down. Gen Chat is all about fast disappearing topics.
