SoccerDudeACW
I'm stuck on the game between the driving and flying training things. They're really annoying and ive tried a lot of stuff but im stuck. On the driving school, im stuck at the level where i have to drive across town undamanged in the time limit. Any cheats combos or help? At the flying school im stuck on the first one which i tried twice and got bored with and left for the boat-driving school. It's easy so far but i need full-proof ways to succeed. Finally, how many levels of each school are there? crazyanurag
if it makes you feel any better, then know that Driving School isn't required to be completed to progress in the storyline...as for the particular test you mention, "City Slicking", you could try it late at night (after 2:00 and before 6:00) when the roads are generally empty and the trolleys are hardly around...this way, you could hog the middle of the road without having to worry too much...i don't think there are any cheats which could help you here... if you're stuck on the first Flying School test, "Take-Off", then it must be that you're not retracting your landing gear...once you're airborne, hit the '2' button (if you're playing with the default configuration on PC) to pull the landing gear up... the Flying School has 10 tests, the Boat School has 5, and you're on the last Driving School test...if you're really stuck, and are only short of tearing your hair out, you could request an SnP, and have the mission done for you...the rules for that are here...you could also try Mission Passers to have it pass the missions for you... hope this helps! SoccerDudeACW
I don't have the PC version, I have the PS2 version. Well i passed the driving and boat-driving schools, but i can't get passed the flying school planely because i cant fly, i know how to retract the landing gear. But I two friends told me that if I took a plane and flew around w/o landing for at least half an hour (real time, not GTA time) I thing would come up and say that I got my flying license and my flying skill increases, is this true? Is there something else to get my license? Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/267439-driving-boating-flying-training/#findComment-4064663 Share on other sites

SoccerDudeACW
Oh, so if i fly around and get my licence, ill still have to pass the school to advance into the game? rubregg
yeah, you do. you get a *pilot's licence* when your flying skill stat has reached 20% (i think; *some* percentage anyway). this will give you regular access to the airports meaning the gates will open for you on approach. you can increase your flying skill the slow way by just flying around for a long time or the fast way by passing tests at the flying school. no matter your pilot's licence, you *still* need to pass *all the flying school tests* to proceed in the storyline. passing means you'll have to get at least bronze medals in all the tests. don't worry, you're not the first person stuck here. if you're playing ps2 you won't be able to post savegames here i'm afraid. but believe me, all it takes is practice, you'll eventually do them. good luck Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/267439-driving-boating-flying-training/#findComment-4065588 Share on other sites
SoccerDudeACW
Thanks for all the help so far. I'm a cheat fanatic (even though ive heard what happens on the last level if ive saved w/ too many cheats) and was wondering if there wer any cheats that would help me through the flying school. im stuck on the thrid or fourth one where i have to turn. For me, it's hard. So r there any cheats that would help? So r there any cheats that would help? nope, i'm afraid there aren't...the only thing i can suggest is to start the test and then take the Rustler for a spin, without caring about the time or the loops...just get used to its behaviour and controls, and try to turn in the air a few times to see how well you manage...you can do the tests with enough practice, and i know from experience that it's easier doing this with the PS2 controller than the keyboard and mouse combo...keep up the practice and you'll get there eventually...
