kinda aggrivates me that they removed Volley from me i used that almost religiously...

and that's why they removed volley from hunters

 

I went unholy last night for icc25. unholy by far is the current best dps spec for dk's. my guild mostly went in there to try out spec and such, so we used no buffs (other than the icc buff) we had a prot warrior doing 11k dps, a elemental shaman almost topping out at 21k dps. It was insane, we eventually had to stop doing heroics due to threat tables being uncontrollable by the tanks rom the huge dps increase.

Really unholy? I tried unholy being told a DPS did about 19-21K on an ICC boss and it was sh*t compared to my current Frost spec.

ya i'm actually currently speced frost 2h and unholy. i crit way higher in frost, my obliterates and frost strikes have crit has high as 23k, even had one obliterate crit for 28k. but cause of the way frost is now it's all about burst damage, and it doesnt hold up to par with unholy.

Hmm mind putting up your rotation and the talent tree for unholy then? If its as good as you say then I've probably cocked up the rotation or the talent tree.

pretty much the rotation is PS>IT; you plague strike first so you have up ebon plaguebringer, which your icy touch will benefit from the 8% damage increase. Then you just blood strike, and scourge strike, and death coil when either one is on cd, use DT when it's up. because diseases are around 33 seconds long now, you have more time to use bs>ss without having to use runes to reapply your diseases.

Because you get those stupid ass Justice points in them when you have no actual loot Its happened to me twice now. Also I've had nothing but disconnects and huge lag for the past 2-3 days. Which made ICC f*cking unbearable. Especially when you log back in and find you can't see your damn raid friends in there and get taken right to the start to just jump out and then back in. f*ck WoW and its asshole mistakes with this patch like that.

/rant.

canceled my account after the patch. Hate playing my Shaman now, and my Paladin. 19 twink PVP (which I've spent most of my WoW time on) has been ruined as well with everyone one shotting eachother with terrible scaling abilities.

Are you disconnecting when you enter a raid/instance? If so it's because of a tooltip coding error Blizzard is currently working on a fix for the problem, but for now what you can do is macro these two scripts; they'll top you from the random disconnects.

 

Tooltips off:

/script GameTooltip.Temphide = function() GameTooltip:Hide() end; GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow", GameTooltip.Temphide);

 

Tooltips On:

/script GameTooltip:SetScript("OnShow", GameTooltip.Show);

 

Just use the tooltips off before you enter your raid/instance, and use tooltips on whenever you're done.

 

Oh, and what pizza guy said, everything is scaled currently to level 85, everyone will notice a huge difference between how dps, healing, and tanking is at level 80 in current gear, compared to being 81 and in current gear.

Interesting, I shall use them. I was getting frozen in the damn Horsemen instance as well yesterday. Was not happy at all since it froze my PC for a good 5 minutes before it decided it wanted to respond. Thank god for a sleep button on my keyboard or I'd of had to restart about 5 times that night.

Apparently they've fixed alot of the bugs and stuff since the patch tonight. Haven't noticed anything yet that's been fixed, but since its nothing but disconnects and freezes for me only time will tell if its helped anything.

I did some PvP on my Warrior. Granted I havnt regemmed yet, but the difference is pretty hardcore. Casters damage is off the scales, did they input that resi buff yet?

 

Still though, not doing as bad as I thought I would. Pretty much just finished figuring out everything for my warrior. Gonan have to start doing the same for the rest of my char's.

I returned home last night around 10 pm, after a week on Tenerife. I'd gotten all the Hallow's End achievements needed for the title before I left, but hadn't managed to get the 'Sinister Calling' or 'GNERD Rage' ones.

 

So last night, my final chance to get the title this year, I logged on, did a quick Horseman, and I got both the Sinister Squashling and the Hallowed Helm from the pumpkin. How lucky is that? Did quick AB drugged up on G.N.E.R.Ds and got my title.

Bump and double post due to the awesomeness of the new patch. Azeroth's overhaul is brilliant. It really looks like Blizzard have outdone themselves. I particularly like the new Orgrimmar.

Not been to Org since I'm Alliance, however the rehaul of Stormwind is awesome to. Real shame about them moving the portals from Dala though, going to be such a bloody ball ache now getting back to different places.

 

Oh and I'm on my way for the Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms and I'm really enjoying the quests so far for them sh*t loads of new flight points to which makes things way easier now until Cata is actually out and I can by the flying for EK.

Cataclysm is a week away from today. I've been tying off my last few loose ends from Wrath. can't wait to see what cata turns into six months to a year from now.

pretty sure I'm going to end up maining it for cata, I want to have the options of doing melee/ranged dps, healing, or being a tank. Currently I look to heal, with a bomkin os.
