One thing I havnt bothered with in WoW is titles. I've got Petient and ashen verdict. But Yeah, I've just really never bothered.

I'm a big pet collector however, and I dare say i've got a few that are worth probably in the thousands. Similar with mounts, I've got a special mount or two.

My armoury. In pve gear there, its pretty good. Gets me in ICC easy, usually pull 10-12K DPS or so. Not massive but good enough for me. I live for pvp however. Been owning it up in BG's with prot recently. Stun silence stun silence.

I recently got into PvP. Its f*cking awesome when I'm in the mood, even though I have about 4 pieces of PVP gear I still rock most of the time, although going against a caster is pretty much dying time unless I'm lucky. Quite funny that you have most of my PvE gear to

 

Oh and I got LK down to about 40% last night. Lowest we've ever gotten him lol.

 

Pre ordered Cata as well the other night, hopefully wont be to busy when it comes out so I can put some good play time in. Least I'll have Fallout New Vegas to keep me occupied until then.

So that new race 'Worgen' might just rekindle my interest in WoW, no joke. Saw some wowhobbs videos of it, and apparently the Worgen story is much darker than the Night Elf, pun intended. If that's true, then I might have to go out and buy cataclysm whenever the hell it comes around.

PvP is awesome indeed especially when WG comes around. Except being Alliance I get my ass kicked by Horde about 70% of the time on my server. Unfortunately being a main DPS and off spec Tank I don't have any real PvP spec, so although I kick ass on most of the guys I encounter its not all winning

 

I'm a Human DK, mostly blood spec for both DPS and tanking. Not quite got the gear I want, since I had to change a ring and my neck yesterday for something lower just to bulk up my DPS and get my hit to the right level.My Char Also had to work on my expertise rating a little while ago, but that's sorted now. Just working on getting my special Strength gems for my gear. Oh and getting LK down still!

 

As for pre ordering, I'm way to lazy to find out if they are doing a midnight launch at my local Game. Not to mention its a long drive to take and wait out while its just cheaper on Amazon lol.

Ugh, I've done Wg way too any times. It gets so annoying after a while. I only spam it until i can get the PvP shoulders and then f*ck it.

 

I prefer to spam/Bg's arena. I actually got to 1400 on my DK with a rogue (lolcomp) but then he kinda stopped playing so I was abit f*cked.

 

But yeah, BG spam>WG imo. Even if strand of the ancients is a f*cking sh*tty BG.

 

I'm actually really surprised your doing decent with a f*cking Blood Spec, seeing as Blood spec is f*cking terrible for pvp. You'd be amazed if you tried UH or Frost. UH requires abit more skill imo, but not too much.

Yeah I'm surprised I do anything in PvP as well with blood. If I lost my tank spec and went full PvP spec knowing my luck I'd be asked to raid with the guild as a tank. BG's are alright although I always seem to get thrown into 3 of the same ones which pisses me off after awhile. Especially when we have people on our side not knowing how to do a f*cking thing in them.

@Rebel, yeah, thats just something you have to deal with. I make it a point to caps lock orders during the BG all I can. Surprinsingly, some of the people that dont know sh*t actually listen sometimes, which helps immensely. I always put down a "ALL GO GREEN, DEF DEMOS, RUN BOMBS" at the beggining of strand or something.

Currently trying to get my Human Warrior to level 80 before Cataclysm hits us. I don't play much, level slow and take my time, so even though I only have five levels to go, I'll probably hit 80 just before the release. Funny, as I hit 70 on that character a few days before the release of WotLK.

 

I also just read up on some of the new Rogue abilities in Cata, and they look really promising. Really looking forward to Redirect, which lets you bring combo points from dead targets to your new one. I hate losing combo points like that, hehe.

Not looking forward to the way DK's runes are going to be on cooldown. Okay so they go on cooldown now, but you are still actually able to hit off whatever other shots you can do with the spare frost/blood/unholy or just runes. Apparently if you hit 1 blood shot you actually have to wait for it to cooldown before you can use anything else. Sounds pretty annoying to me, but hopefully you wont be able to notice it?

 

Oh also I heard that say in a new week after Wednesdays reset. You go into 10man ICC and do 4 bosses. If you then do 25man ICC in the same week, you'll start from the fourth boss. Retarded if you ask me. Patch is up for tomorrow as well, and I still have 5GB left to download since my game dies on me if I ever try to download while playing. Looks like I'll be leaving on my PC all night to finish it off.

 

@Bap - Yeah we do great when a couple people actually shout out what needs doing when, hell I even call out when a base is being taken over or something and we need it to win.

You actually worded runes the opposite way they're going to work now:

 

The way in which runes regenerate has been changed. Rather than each rune type (Blood, Frost, Unholy) regenerating simultaneously, they now fill sequentially. For example, if you use two Blood runes, then the first rune will fill up before the second one starts to fill up. You essentially have three sets of runes filling every 10 seconds instead of six individual runes filling every 10 seconds. This allows the death knight rotation to be more forgiving, so that the player can take advantage of things like ability procs or respond to movement. This system makes it a little easier to get back on track without six separate runes now "out of sync" from the standard rotation.

 

Pretty much if you work your rotation correctly, you'll never have any CD downtime, which means as of today the four piece t10 bonus for dps dk's is now officially useless.

 

And the new flexible raid lockout does suck currently, but it will work out a lot better in cata due to 10/25man raids sharing the same loot drops. But on the upside Icecrown will no longer have the 20% dodge debuff, which means tanks will have their full dodge back, plus all the hp and other bonuses they're getting from the new talent trees today. We have a dk tank in my guild, and he did a bunch of theory crafting, and with the current gear he has with the new talents; he will be receiving around 20k more hp. That's a huge buff, I wouldn't doubt if we start seeing heroic icecrown pugs.

I thought it was a little odd when I was being told by a fellow guild member about the DK's new rotation. Guess I'll have to set him straight. Not sure I like the fact that Cata will share 10/25 loot drops. Well, it gives you a second chance at something if you don't get it the first time around I suppose. Eh guess we'll find out soon enough. That is a huge buff indeed, didn't think it would of been that significant but hey, I've not exactly read much on Cata. I've had at least 4 guild members ask if its worth spending their frost on gear/gems/whatever else or save them for Cata. I don't think people understand that all of the gear we have now is going to be f*cking useless compared to even green sh*t in Cata. I told them to go spend like crazy lol.

Yeah I have a couple of guildies, and real friends that are currently in the beta, without out going too much into detail about it; the first set of greens that you get from quests in the 80-85 leveling areas are item level 272; which is higher than heroic icc10, and regular icc25 loot.

but Reforging is now available and i can have even more pets for my hunter

 

EDIT: the final time was 6 f*cking hours to download it, install in and play....

 

i lost about 5 or six skills and one of my favorite... Volley oh well.... i'll adapt and overcome it.

Just installing now, on 3%. Left my PC on over night to download the patch. And I was on the server until the very last moments when it kicked me off. We literally just finished a HC before it kicked us since I heard both Triumphs and Frosts will be converted into points for new gear. I also heard from my GM that DK's 2handed weapons will be kicking out less than 2 1 handed weapons

One of the sh*te things about WoW that. I worked for 60 days gametime on a Level 70 Orc Shaman during the Burning Crusade era and now every bit of that gear is obsolete. If I ever went back to WoW again with that character I'd practically be a n00b all over again

Took me pretty much all day to download install and update. But, I got my sh*t sorted. My DK now with Frost spec does about 12K AoE damage on mobs, then about 6-7K with single target bosses on ICC (yeah we went to ICC after most of us got our sh*t sorted just to see what it would be like. So much higher DPS) This is with a 2 handed weapon as well so its not bad. Since I don't have any decent duel wield weapons I can't say if they are better in Frost, but I'll eventually find out.

 

Really not happy about some of the changes they've made. I haven't actually found the rune situation to be bad yet since my rotation allows me pretty much at least 1 shot every second or so. The Reforging sh*t is cool though, obviously moved most of my unwanted stats into the Mastery area which is needed. Another 5K for the epic flying which I'm way to poor for. There's some other things that I don't like that they've changed but its totally gone now since I've logged out.

Dunno. Mine isn't even done downloading the patch yet. I started it when I left for work yesterday, and then I got back home, around 7 pm, it was at 30%.

 

I left it on over night, but apparently Windows found it prudent to reboot my PC about half an hour after I went to sleep, because it installed some useless update for IE8, which I don't even use. So this morning I woke up to a stunning figure of 44% downloaded, and an estimated remaining time of around 50 hours.

 

It takes a while to download 5 gigs at an average 10-15 kb/s.

They f*cking nerfed warriors into the ground. I mean, what the f*ck? I've had reports of BIS warrs running 13K DPS while mages and Warlocks are hitting over 24K. What the f*ck?

 

Some people are saying that we need to wait till lvl 85. Thats 2 f*cking months down the drain. f*cking terrible.

 

sh*t, and on top of that, all my f*ckING arp gems got turned into crit gems. Wat? Not only did I loose about 90 percent of my slot bonuses, got nerfed because arp is gone, but crit is absolulty terrible. They could have changed it into strenght, which would have made about 200 percent more sense. All f*cking warriors are forced to f*cking regem fully. f*ck me.

 

Not only that, but since I dont have 300 triumph anymore, I cant go and buy extra f*cking gems. f*ck me.

 

And I feel like I'm gonna have to relearn the whole f*cking game. But I suppose thats everyone, so not a major point there.

 

The ONLY thing that could make this better is if they made Fury work in PvP like Fury should be in PvP. The tree looks more optimized to work in pvp, Die by the Blade looks like a nice annoying trick, and I like the auto-attack MS+heroic fury thing. If on top of that we get good damage, it should be ok. I'm pretty upset we lost the CD reduction for intercept though.

 

The new trees look good in general though, so thats something.

 

I havnt gone over the DK changes so much, hope it wont be as bad as this.

Death Knights are alright after you've swapped sh*t around. I noticed they actually made a gem slot in my relic lol. Also f*cking haste is big DPS for frost spec now which is crazy. Not a damn clue on what else I should be doing after sorting out my raid sh*t out, don't totally know about this mastery thing either. Put some into it on things I was over capped on. 1 awesome thing about this patch? Honor points are f*cking awesome since the gem cost is about 130 odd and I only had 800 and got about 5 gems out of it.

i must say as a lvl 50 hunter i like the patch... i love roaming with my pet Rapter (named Jaws ) but i can also have a tanking Pet like a bear (named Roar) with me at the same time. my melee actually does more damage now than before which is handy when i forget to swap out pets seeing as im a Marksman...

 

kinda aggrivates me that they removed Volley from me i used that almost religiously... but giving hunters focus instead of Mana is a smart idea... makes the game more fun and interesting. you cant just keep using skills with out running out of mana...

 

and thank god they got rid of ammo.... i can never find the guy selling ammo (im stupid as hell i know )...
