Crokey Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 Hello BF2: Modern Combat is an XBox and Playstation game, whereas BF2 is a PC Only game, so you don't have to get one to play the other. I was waiting to join an infantry only server, it was full and noticed the Zaibatsu server in my favourites, clicked it and there were a few 'GTI' clan members in it, popped on there for a while. You actually can play multiplayer without a legitimate key. I did for several months before I borrowed a friend of a friend of a friends BF2 Ultimate DVD, without the manual or Cd keys (I had another friend take a cellphone cam picture of the keys when nobody was looking) And upgraded and wrote down the codes at home. I just got another code off of ebay. Want to know my method? Look for a particular game, and sometimes, a dumb soul posts a picture of the game, as well as a picture of the cd key as proof that it is a legitimate lot. I already have a working COD2 cd key and I just got a BF2 key today. Don't I rule? Also recently, I downloaded Sandbox for BF2 and AIX with the first two map packs. Pretty cool stuff if I must say. The urban jungle level in AIX is great in single player too, and the new guns and stuff are sweet. One of the new weapons is a friggin gatteling gun. The uKm clan recently got an infantry server too, they still got a Wake one aswell. Maybe we should go on there sometime? 32 man server, Karkand! I'd rather pull my eyeballs out with a rake covered in lemon juice than re install it. I wouldn't mind if patches were a few MB but half a gig for it to tell me to f*ck off and re install is a joke. Just thought I would try to share those memories with you ladies. Some old screenies that got dug out of the old topics: I was killed in the helo... It sat there and Daz got pissed. Wow. Memories.
