Kinda pissed I missed it. (feel free to use spoiler tags if you wish.) You can legally watch the episodes online. That's the only reason I've been able to keep up. That was great (but sad) ending to the episode, didn't really reveal anything knew apart from that if Nikki and Paulo talked more then deaths/kidnappings wouldn't of happened. This week however felt a bit detatched on this episode, like "I GET IT all ready, Kate Austen killed her abusive step-father and her mom's a piece of sh*t with no loyalty towards her own daughter." Do we really need to flash back just to see one more thing connecting the character to Sawyer? There wasn't enough to explain John Locke's new dismissive attitude and the subtext with Sawyer assuming leadership is completely null with Jack and everyone coming back to the main camp next week. She doesn't know about Sun yet though would she? So why's she there? And why does it only take a week to do? You could say 'Life on Mars' is our lost, yet the key difference is it concluded after 12 episodes instead of dragging it out like a bitch. I think lost is great, but I want them to just end it. meta187 Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 Yea, I caught it last night. The Jin/Sun flashback was a bit of a snore but tied into the episode nicely. The stuff with Sun questioning Jack's intentions felt kinda forced. The Other, Mikhail Bakunin (aka The Wishmaster- yes that's him) coming back was the only real surprise, I suppose- for lack of anything better to introduce. He did a pretty gnarly job of removing that branch from the pilot's lungs though, made me think of that scene with the needle in Pulp Fiction. Im saying it was a decoy by the others to stop people from finding them. But you know that there are going to people going with the 'they're all dead theory' and stuff. vALKYR Posted April 28, 2007 Share Posted April 28, 2007 Yea well they're in deep sh*t but for me it was already obvious that the Others conned the rescue teams looking for 815 by using the submarine to get a few parts of the fuselage and move them a whole wide way across the ocean and then disguise as fishermen to make the call and say "omg we found a plane and bodies"... because it ain't good when rescue teams suddenly discover Bens little hellhole island Anyway, next up is a Locke Episode, concerning the Fate of Anthony Cooper... Then a Charlie Episode called "Greatest Hits" in whichhe will most likely die Followed by a Ben Episode and then it ends with a 2-hour Season Finale with a Showdown between the flashback character jack and either Sawyer or Locke And then LOST is off the tube until next January.
