matthew1g
I've finally got my hands on a 4 gig stick (been using 32mb ever since launch ). So how would I go about going to custom firmware? I'm on 3.03 right now, and have downgraded to 1.5 for a couple of times . what is the best CF to run PSP isos and PS1 games on? oh and is 4gigs supported on 1.5 FW? gamerzworld
I now have a Slim PSP! I got the last one in my town I think....Gamestop sold out so I had to goto Wal Mart and I got the last one. The packaging sucks though, you have to cut around a plastic holder to get to the PSP. I thought it was a cardboard display when I first held it, it felt like there was nothing inside it. The battery kinda makes it a bit heaver, but not by much. Game load a bit faster and it's a bit brighter. I haven't got a chance to test out the TV out yet, I forgot to get the cord. The only things it needs is an exploit and custom firmware. I now have: 2 Fat PSPs 1 Slim PSP

WellsMcK
hey i dont post much in the lounge... but i need help deciding something. i bought a new battery today so when i get slim i can run cfw on it. but should i use my waranty after making a pandora battery, brick my psp on purpose and tell bestbuy it doesnt work. my problem is they still sell the old psp's for 219 (entertainment pack) while the slim is 199 and i want the slim although they would be making money. should i wait for only slim to be on shelves or should i ask them for a slim instead. Thanks. that sounds like a serious case of brickage. if its not bricked, the screen might be turned off, just hold the little screen brightness button, and see if it comes on. if not, since sony will only call you a hacker and hang up, you will need someone with a modded PSP to make a pandora's battery to unbrick it. matthew1g
Anyone know where i can find the official 3.52 firmware? I've been wanting to upgrade from 3.03OC-E myself, but can't find the real firmware. Also, does having a custom 3.03OE-C XMB theme mess up the M33 installation? Seddo
Went around my mates yesterday and he pissed around with my PSP and now i have a custom firmware, 3.40 OE-A. I don't know how he done it though becuase he alls these programs on his PC and kep connecting my PSP via the USB port, but it feels good playing Mario on a Sony Console. Also i can now play UMD's without having them in the UMD slot, it's just plays them from memory card. I'll have to invest in a 4GB memory card or something now so i can fit more sh*t on it.
