Mick Foley's had his fair share of critics since he started this ring announcer lark. I kind of like the guy though. He tries to make wrestling sound more real, if you get what I mean? JR tends to shout like a maniac, Mick tends to act like your usual sports announcer.

But, meh to Foley. He was a brilliant wrestler though, probably my favourite hardcore wrestler, and some of the best matches ive seen.

The guy looked half dead before he even started a match! The scariest moments in his matches weren't when he was getting wrapped up in barbed wire then hit for the 14th time by a steel chair! No, his scariest moments came when he climbed up to the top rope to do a moonsault. Everyone was holding their breath hoping he wasn't going to break something! That's a hardcore legend!

EDIT: Yeah Funk was more hardcore in terms of chair shot etc, but Foley had Barby and he also had some of the biggest falls in WWE history. Hell in a Cell anyone? Legend.

Im not sure, never heard that before. He left though (or got "fired") and didnt he return to become commisioner or something? Then he got back into actual wrestling and I think hes stopped for good now. I dont really know though.

Probably just taking a break like most wrestler do at some point. I mean your body gives in after a certain amount of time of being on the road 300 days out of the year and wrestling.

I will be watching Raw tonight. I am interested in seeing what happens with Cena and Batista. It's going to be a Tag Team Championship rematch, Rhodes and DiBiase vs Cena and Batista.

When thinking of Foley's music, I always loved what he had as Mankind, when he had both entrance music and exit music. I loved how he had the tense psycho music to start the match, and ended with the calm, serene piano music.

I've noticed how soft WWE has really gotten. That glass arm wrestling contest they had between HHH and Khali was stupid. I expected someone to f*ck up their hand with blood and glass. But no, Khali just butt headed HHH. And threw the table causing glass to splatter on the ring. Then he does a Khali Bomb. I at least expected him to do it on the glass. But no... Tonight's RAW involved a table with CM Punk and JBL. After Punk got him down, I actually saw a person point at the table to Punk. But did he do anything? No...

 

Hell, TNA is having superstars go threw glassed tables...

Kane's still un-masked. I still remember him when he was this guy.

 

I actually think it would be a good storyline if Kane admitted he wasn't really the Undertakers brother. Maybe Paul Bear could come back and say that he and Kane made up the story to get back at Taker. Or maybe I just want to see the oldies back too much!

I really think WWE should go back to its slightly older days, where they actually enforced rules, and it was a rarity to see any claret. Now nearly every match its people getting busted open everywere, and its not as exciting anymore.

Lol yeah. Nothing like the Lita and Edge sex thing in the middle of the ring. But it looks as if Beth Pheonix and Santino got a little something going on. They may try to do the same with Mickie James and Kofi Kingston.

I was actually going to say this. Kane deserves a title-run. For all the years he's been with the WWE. A long one at that. He had the ECW championship for how long? 1-2 weeks?

I doubt the whole mask angle is over. I think the Mysterio mask thing was just a ruse because Adamle forced Kane to show him what's inside. I could see Kane bringing it out on his own terms.

Yeah well that whole thing with Khali around Wrestlemania 23 was sh*te. Also one of the worst fights ive seen, definatly the worst at 23
