There's actually plenty of reasons. According to what I read...

 

- Not connecting with the audience at the level WWE had been hoping for.

 

- Shoulder injury.

 

- Steroid issues.

 

But you'll love this. Krystal apparently only got released because she was in a major storyline on SD! Many of you may know what I mean. Hence the reason she hasn't come back. To sum it all up, she got released because WWE f*cked up with the storyline.

I've never heard anything about Lashley's MMA experience. I know he had amateur wrestling experience, and was in the Army, but I've never read anywhere about him in MMA.

 

No, she got released because she REFUSED to do a "morally degrading" storyline that would have given her a lot a TV time (this slot was given to Vickie). So she was the one who f*cked with the storyline, you can't blame it on the WWE like you always do. Additionally, she hadn't improved her wrestling skills at all in her tenure. Here is her full statement, which is basically her rambling about Lita:

 

...I did not want to do a morally degrading storyline with Edge that was already done, plain and simple. Lita was in my opinion the greatest female wrestler of all time (next to Jazz). Lita revolutionized the world of wrestling. She showed that women could be strong, beautiful, and be a draw in the sexiest world of wrestling. She had little girls watching her wanting to become an athlete instead of a princess when they grew up. She was also one of the few women who wrestled men. With blood, sweat, tears and a broken neck later, she earned the respect of everyone in the wrestling business. So the WWE had the bright idea of turning her personal business into a public free for all. Sure that "storyline" transformed a well-loved baby face into a huge heel, but at whose expense? Look at how Trish retired With a huge championship win and the fans respect chanting her name…now look at how Lita retired losing the title and being embarrassed on TV. On the day of Lita's retirement, the fans didn't just boo her because she was a heel(bad girl); they booed her because despite all that she did to women's wrestling, all that they seemed to remember about Lita was the "slutty" vamp she played on TV and thats just not fair and i did not want to be remembered that way by you the fans

 

She also doesn't realize that people were pissed at Lita because of the things she did in real life, not just because she was a heel.

Chris Johnson at wrestlingherald.com reported a couple of weeks back that HHH's name was considered to switch to Smackdown. More recently John Cena's name has come up as well. HHH may or may not move but it's looking likely that John Cena is jumping to Smackdown. I've been told that WWE has created a new World Heavyweight Championship. The kicker is this: the World Heavyweight championship is meant to be a spinner belt so it would indicate that John Cena is jumping to Smackdown.

 

Vince McMahon has been wanting to switch things up because of the dip in the ratings so this would fall into the "big shake-up" category and would be an added boost for Smackdown when it moves to MyNetworkTV in the fall.

A couple of weeks back on Smackdown Victoria Crawford, a former model, debuted as the wedding planner for Edge and Vickie Guerrero. I am told that the plan as of now is for Edge to get caught cheating on Vickie with Crawford. This will lead to their relationship ending and Vickie turning face. I was also told that this is the role that WWE wanted Krystal Marshall to play but she refused and was released. They didn't have plans for her to be the wedding planner but as Edge's secret lover. The twist with that angle though would have been it also tying into the Teddy Long/Krystal affair as well. Instead the wedding was broken up by Teddy having a heart attack. Krystal never came back on TV and was released just weeks later.

I just hope that if SD does take the big named Superstars, they also make some big story lines to suit those wrestlers.

 

On a side note, Im just watching some Vintage WWF on Sky. Just had Rick Flair vs Roddy Piper, I swear they dont make matches like that anymore. I was glued to it. Rick Flair > all current wrestlers.

I'm looking forward to seeing the draft tomorrow, it's my first.

 

Why does Edge always have a GF? Why couldn't he just be the psycho we all think of him as. From the Hardcore match with Cactus Jack(Don't remember his character from that match.)

 

I guess it's good to have not just the same kind of personality over and over.

But I really think it would be good with a complete psycho heel. Mad angry guy, attacking everything, not necessarily winning every time either.

 

And yea, watching the old matches, it seems, they really put their heart into it back then. Unlike these days.

Didn't watch RAW but I just been on WWE.com and lol'd when I saw Vince in the neck brace . I was surprised that he called Triple H by his real name . But oh well as long as he doesn't come out and say he faked it then it should be a good storyline.

I bet hes gonna be confined to a wheelchair since he ''cant feel his legs'' so it would be interesting to see Vince roll out in the chair next Monday

Im not, really needed a huge name over there.

 

I reckon SD will go through some big changes to get it near the level of RAW.

 

The Draft was pretty cool, I was wishing Edge would have gone to ECW, stupid but funny.

 

Should be some good shows on the way...I hope!

 

I recorded the Draft and it ran out for some strange reason on my SKY+ just before the last 2 were selected and the stage thing...Really annoying.

I'm not entirely happy with this year's draft. Matt to ECW is a huge slap in Matt's face imo. Kennedy to SD is a real slap, too. Kane back to RAW, don't give a f*ck. Big 'Tist back to RAW, again, don't care. Jeff to SD? Lame. RAW got f*cked, and I never watch SD or ECW, so I lose this draft.

Of course they do, the entire thing is scripted, like 100% Scripted.
