Smackdown was, again, sh*t. What the hell was with the main event, that waspathetic having Funaki and Nunzio and Delany there.

Vickie Guerreo has single-handedly driven SD right down the crapper.

I guess the only good thing she has done is create a Diva Championship, that will be good for the Smackdown divas for them to look to instead of just wrestling for no reason.

I guess you didn't get of the point of the entire storyline, which was to give Edge's team an advantage by having Batista teaming up with tiny jobbers.

 

And Smackdown doesn't need a Diva's Championship, they barely do anything with their tag belts. They should just have the Women's Championship be defended on both shows (which isn't that implausible, considering how the brand seperation is basically nonexistent).

Of course i got the stroyline, a crap one it was, but i seriously would've been more interested if it was Batista himself, which it pretty much already was. That would've given them a huge advantage but still make it so that Batista wins.

(His spinebuster on Edge was f*cken sweet)

 

I still think they need a Diva championship. What is the point of having Divas on Smackdown if they are not working towards something. Having stupid little bitch fights between them like is just boring.

 

But, i do agree that the draft is gonna be great. I'll be watching to see who changes and then for a few weeks after that just to see if it is any better.

Reason I'm saying that is because when he told the people the amount of cash they had one they didn't sound excited. They were just like, "Oh thanks, bye." What's that? WWE is getting really gay with the mon-ay giving away. Its just pathetic. The people weren't even happy, the person who won $2 didn't have reason to be happy but still, the others could've shown some enthusiasm.

I think they'll just be doing this, and getting people to register just to see how many people in America are watching it. Then they make those "Did you know...." things after ad breaks.

 

Anyway, RAWs matches were better than usual, ECW was also better than usual (really hate Mike Adamly though) and Smackdown was OK.

Havn't seen the final two matches yet because i taped it, but will comment on them at a later date, if they are worth commenting on.

I have to be honest. Mike Adamle sucked balls when he first got to ECW. But gradually he's been improving, and is much better now that when he first started, but is no where near as good as Joey Styles.

Smackdown main event was predictable and average. Vickie better not screw over Edge, and why dont Edges 'minions' just f*ck off, seriously, im pretty sure no one likes them and they are just annoying, crap, bottom of the list wrestlers.

TBH, it would be great if this Million Dollar Mania was real. I mean, I have a good job, but with this damn American economy is the sh*thole and prices of just about everything rising, anybody can use as much money as possible. $200,000 would be excellent. I am not struggling at all or anything, but still, the more money the better.

 

Currently watching RAW, and so far, pretty average at best. The street fight could have been better, and the Dive Summer contest, well it is always good to see beautiful women in the bikini's, minus Jillian's annoying voice.

RAW was pretty terrible this week.

WWE are ready to scrap the million dollar give away which was supposed to increase ratings but has decreased them. They really could have put more thought into it, and made it really good instead of vince stood there with a phone.

Its also starting to be the exact same 8 superstars each week, HHH, Cena, Y2J, Kennedy...Cody Rhodes etc etc.

At the start of the Vickie-Edge thing, i always thought that he was going to screw her over when he got the title but i guess he needed her to get Undertaker out of the way, now she had better f*ck off.

He could even turn good guy on us, which is probable.

Unfortunatly, he probably will. Just like Kennedy did on RAW but getting rid of the awful GM, he will do that on Smackdown by getting rid of Vickie.

I really hope he doesn't try to be cool like Kennedy has done.

HHH has not yet turned heel. He is just being a tough guy face. Seriously, do you ever comprehend things before you bash them? You are the worst kind of wrestling fan. You criticize everything you see and think one stupid angle will bring down the entire business, but you really don't know what you want. You want instant gratification instead of trying to see where and angle is going if it seems to start out crappy. You should just take what Vince gives you, because it's pretty decent. And if you don't like one thing, just wait a short while, because, knowing the nature of wrestling, it will probably change.

No, spending countless years watching shows from as many corporations as I could gave me the right to spread my opinion around, nevertheless in a topic designed to do so. I do admit, I haven't watched wrestling for a buttload of time, but that only allowed me to take a step back and analyse as empirically as possible right now how bad something I used to like is.

For example, that Tag Team match was cut off short because of Vince wanting to do that money sh*t, which absolutely sucks. Even the fans booed.

 

If Raw fails me. Then I'm not even going to bother think about the other brands.

Same crappy matches? Last week on Smackdown, MVP and CM Punk had an excellent 20 minute match. Just on ECW, Punk and Morrison had a good, stiff, contest that got plenty of time and allowed them both to exhibit some innovative offense (especially Morrison). These midcarder guys deliver sound matches every week because they still got something to prove, unlike a couple of the main eventers who can half-ass it without any ill effects because they already have their spots. And all matches will be crap if you expect five-star classics every week, (NOBODY can be that good all the time) and the majority of TV matches are decent entertainment

 

Same crappy storylines? If you saw the end of Raw, Lance Cade got the beginning of a new push when he buddied up with Y2J, he's some fresh life into the main event (I assume that's where he'll be) from a guy who deserves a little showcase for how much he's improved. The reason they stick with a lot of the same storylines is because they are tried and true, they attempted grand sports entertainment with the Vince death and bastard son storylines and they failed due to bad luck. Vince Russo tries "new ideas" every week and they get convoluted because Crash TV just doesn't work anymore. Russo's attention span is too short to keep all of his ideas straight and they get jumbled and lost.

 

And your last comment? You can't judge all the brands by one show! The reason Raw can get crappy is because that's the one they put the most effort into so when something fails, it fails hard and noticeably. SD and ECW are completely different, sure they don't have the biggest spectacle or storylines, but the focus on the core of it all: Wrestling.
