About the 'Taker thing.

I think they might wanna redo that whole "having crazy magic skills" thing. And then Undertaker would come in every once in a while and stir up sh*t.

Of course with the GM trying to get him out.

Might be interesting.

And I can't find anywhere to watch it, it hasn't been uploaded. Sucks.

I think a good ONS is actually almost as good as a bad WM.

Hey does anyone have a vid of this crazy magic trick that Taker did on SD? I hear people talking about it but I'd like to see it.

Any suggestions as to what I should search for on Youtube.

The magic trick starts at around 6:00.

Thanks 60 dude. Trick was pretty decent, but you can easilt figure out how it was done.

Man, I haven't watched SD in well over a year now, possibly longer. They still use those sounclips of the crowd cheering? Man. I have heard it or RAW at certain times as well.

They do that?

Wow, there is still so much I don't know about the WWE.

Anybody watched/watching ONS?

I'm at the TLC match, and so far, it's far better that the whole WM this year.

Nah, didn't get to watch it. I'll just probably find the videos posted up on YouTube later this week like they always do with WWE PPVs.

Dont forget the draught coming up so I reckon taker will be shifted to Raw.

Draft, you mean.

Anyway, only SD!! and ECW are coming to NZ, no one from RAW so im thinking that 'taker will just disobey Vickie entirely, and stay on SD!! or, they will fire Vickie (please, please) and bring in someone else who will allow 'taker to stay. Because as they were saying, he has been on SD!! since the start of it.

What do you mean y NZ?

Is it the draft?

So no one from RAW will change place?

The Undertaker is not banned from WWE, it's all just part of the sh*tty storyline.

I'd also like to add that until WWE gets their act together, I will not be watching another episode of Raw, which should be easy for me since I haven't watched it in over a month. GTA IV is just so much better to me.

And on that note, I'm off.

I doubt The Undertaker will return to RAW. They said he is banished from WWE entirely. No that does not mean he will be going to TNA. It's what Taker wanted if it was all just a storyline so he can retire.

Started watching RAW halfway. Got bored and fell asleep.

D'you think maybe the well has run dry with professional wrestling? I mean, they started pushing the envelope in the 90s in the name of bringing about a revival (with the New World Order and the Attitude Era). Even after WCW fell, you had star power like The Rock, Kurt Angle, a semi-retired Stone Cold, Mick Foley, Taker, Kane, and Triple H (who I think is very boring nowadays; he's had his time in the sun, he needs to stop keeping younger stars from getting a push).

I think that professional wrestling as a whole has run out of revolutionary ideas. I mean, they succeeded in making wrestling popular again in the mid-late 90s by making it more dramatic, personal, almost to the point where it felt real (especially with kids, like me at the time). But I think an effect of that masterplan is that fans nowadays are too smart to buy into anything the WWE or TNA throws at them (aside from your garden-variety 13 year old who cheers for Marky Mark even though he seriously lacks charisma).

I think they just need some new talent, and some new writers. That's all. smile.gif

Maybe they should listen to this forum eh?

>,<

I think maybe HHH, 'Taker, Kane, Mysterio and all those oldboys, should gather up in clans, and train some younger ones.

I'm thinking he's going to disobey Vickie's orders and come back later. Just like when Vickie "banned" 'Takers choke, he ignored her and used it on Khali a couple minutes after she said that.

I bet this Friday, you'll here his infamous dong, or a casket or something to show he ain't gone.

Edge WHC once again! Totally agree with KillerKabel on 'Taker, although you can read below for the Deadman's status. I wanna see him move over to RAW although it would never happen. It's R-K-Over. This sucks. I read Orton was supposed to be in a Fatal-4-Way against HHH, Cena, and Hardy at a house show. Regarding Cade vs Murdoch, IMO it's like watching two siblings or spouses fight.

Loads of News:

WWE RAW RESULTS - JUNE 2ND, 2008

*Must-Read Update on William Regal - What Happened?*

Ric Flair to Return to RAW, WWE Draft Plans, Night Of Champions Matches, Randy Orton & Big Show Injury Updates, HBK on Highlight Reel, More:

-- Ric Flair is expected to be brought back to television within the next few weeks. More than likely it will be a one-time appearance to promote the release of his next DVD, but a regular role shouldn't be ruled out.

It turns out Ric has apparently been pulled from his scheduled NWA Hall of Fame induction next Saturday at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. All mentions of Flair have been removed from the NWAWrestling.com website.

-- During his match with Triple H at Sunday's One Night Stand pay-per-view, Randy Orton took a bad fall after being thrown over the top rope and apparently broke his collarbone in the process. During the broadcast you could hear Orton tell the referee about his injury. The announcers started selling the injury on the broadcast. The match was scheduled to go a bit longer, but they soon went to the finish. Orton remained out on the floor clutching his shoulder while the referee made the ten count. As soon as the match was over, medics quickly stormed ringside to check on Orton.

After the match, Orton was immediately taken into a room backstage to be examined. He was then sent to a local hospital to check out the severity of the injury. WWE will likely have an update soon.

**EDIT: According to new reports, Randy Orton doesn't need surgery for his broken left collarbone and early indications are that he will be back in around three months.

-- Big Show suffered in his Singapore Cane match last night. Big Show hit his head hard on the steel steps during the match and was busted open hardway. The gash was really deep and he had to have stitches put in backstage. WWE.com is reporting that the Big Show is having an MRI done to fully evaluate the severity of his injury from One Night Stand. It was first thought of as just a bad gash, but he woke up with very bad swelling that forced his eye shut. There is fear that he may have suffered a broken bone. You can see photos of Big Show's huge gash being tended to by medics at WWE.com.

--There are currently two big title matches confirmed for WWE's upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view. Triple H will defend the WWE title against John Cena and Kane will defend the ECW title against The Big Show. Due to the fact that his eye is still swollen shut from an injury sustained at One Night Stand, Big Show will be undergoing an MRI this week so his status in the ECW title match could change. WWE is expected to continue the tradition of bringing back previous WWE champions for cameos.

-- Quite like last year, WWE is keeping the draft very secretive, to the point that most all of the talent will find out if they're changing brands as soon as the audience does during the live show. With the exception of the long-rumored Umaga brand switch, little has leaked out on the draft. Back in 2002, WWE did a live draft for television and a secondary draft with the results posted on the company website. A number of mid-level and lower-level wrestlers had to log on to the WWE site late at night after the draft to find out about their futures.

-- Shawn Michaels will be a guest on Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel next week on RAW.

-- Former WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's divorce proceedings are officially done, reports TMZ.com. According to their divorce agreement, both Johnson and his ex-wife, Dany Garcia, will pay $5,000 a month into a trust fund to be used towards a private school, college education and other living expenses for their 7-year-old daughter Simone. Additionally, Garcia and Johnson will share custody over the child and both have agreed to waive their right to alimony. Although, Johnson will pay approximately $22,454 per month in child support, which adds up to $269,448 annually. Garcia made approximately $700,000 last year as a financial adviser.

-- The FOX affiliate out of Atlanta is reporting that the Chris Benoit family house in Fayetteville, Georgia is now up for sale. Their previous residence in nearby Peachtree City is also up for sale, and is among the estate's assets. Benoit estate issues were finalized just last week, although details have yet to be disclosed.

-- The WWE site has an article on WWE Diva Ashley Massaro appearing in the music video for Rev Theory's Hell Yeah song, which is also the official song of One Night Stand. Rev Theory explained why Ashley is in their new music video. "She's a cool chick. She's a rock chick. She's a fan of the music and we just thought it was a very good fit." You can read the article at WWE.com, which also includes some photos from the set of the music video.

-- Regarding Triple H and the upcoming Marvel Studios movie Thor, the originally scheduled director of the film, Matthew Vaughn, won't be producing it. Vaughn's holding deal with the studio expired in December, but this news didn't come out until a few weeks ago. Vaughn was firmly against casting Triple H for the lead role in the movie. The flick is scheduled to be released in a little more than two years on June 4, 2010.

2 Top SD! Stars Taking Time Off, Vickie/Edge Storyline, Gail Kim to WWE?, Lashley's First MMA Fight, more:

-- Regarding the storyline of The Undertaker losing last night and being "banned" from WWE, plans weren't made for The Undertaker to lose until Saturday. There had been some talk backstage lately about him taking time off soon. To sell the angle, Undertaker's profile has been removed from WWE.com. It remains to be seen if this will be a short or long term storyline.

-- At the WWE stockholders meeting two weeks ago, one stockholder complained about the Edge & Vickie Guerrero storyline on SmackDown to Vince McMahon. The stockholder asked where WWE was going to draw the line on it. In what appears to be a hint to where it's going, McMahon said that it was a love and relationship story, but that it may not turn out like one in the end. McMahon then went on a tangent saying how in real life, everyone isn't all good or evil, but rather, shades of gray.

-- Batista is expected to take a few months off soon. He is expected to be out until SummerSlam. We don't have any details on his status except that it's not Wellness-related. He had been asking for the summer off, and as of last week, the belief was that it was happening soon. However, with Undertaker taking some time off, as well as Randy Orton, it doesn't look he's getting his break anytime soon.

-- With the ending of WWE Heat, look to see more tag teams formed and Heat superstars on Raw and Smakdown!

-- WWE is advertising that Torrie Wilson will appear at the RAW house show in Boise, Idaho on June 14th. Torrie is from Boise. This seems to confirm that Torrie did not leave WWE with any hard feelings. Former Torrie had back surgery yesterday to correct her nagging ailment, which forced her to leave professional wrestling.

-- Former WWE star Bobby Lashley has signed on with the Kentucky-based American Fight League. It is expected to be a non-exclusive deal, so he can still do wrestling. Additionally, Lashley showed up at tonight's AFL show in Atlanta to announce his signing with the MMA league. Lashley cut a promo saying he wants to fight and be the best. The AFL will be running a pay-per-view event in the Philips Arena in October, which will mark Lashley's debut with the company. An opponent has yet to be named.

-- Gail Kim has posted a new blog on her MySpace page talking about an online report saying that she was possibly going to WWE when her TNA contract expires. Of course, the "report" was completely made up by someone and credited to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer to give it legitimacy. Kim wrote: "So recently i received numerous emails regarding some rumors on the internet. Some people thought it would be a good idea to clear up the situation and thought it was blog worthy. This was of course the topic of me leaving TNA and returning to the WWE. By now, if you do keep up to date with wrestling news... you will know that the rumor was already cleared up and the news was completely inaccurate. I guess it was credited to a credible wrestling writer so people did believe it. I know I always sound like a broken record, but I have repeatedly told everyone not to believe everything they read. I understand its hard not to but I can honestly say that half the things written about me are never true and if they are, they always have inaccurate facts.

-- The UFC confirmed on Friday afternoon that former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will take on Heath Herring as a replacement for Mark "The Hammer" Coleman at UFC 87 on August 9th in Minneapolis. The match will be Lesnar's second bout in the Octagon. Coleman withdrew from the match due to a knee injury.

Early WHC Match at Night of Champions?, 4 Wrestlers to Start Movie Careers?, Stacy Keibler Uncensored?, Another Wrestler DUI Arrest:

-- The word going around backstage is that Batista will be wrestling Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions in a few weeks.

--  Four big name wrestlers are among the finalists for the starring role in a television pilot centered around the life of an older celebrity. Among wrestlers, the finalists are Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Diamond Dallas Page and Jake Roberts. Mick Foley was also a finalist, but was forced to back out when he accepted the color commentator position on SmackDown. Other candidates for the lead role include Jon Bon Jovi, Dee Snyder of the rock band Twisted Sister, and Rupert Boneham of Survivor fame. At the moment, Nash appears to be the favorite for the role with Snyder next in line. The show will be called Hey Dude. Kurt Angle is looking to launch an acting career. As of late, he has been spending a lot of time auditioning for various acting roles.

-- Michael Brendli, 25, better known to wrestling fans as Mikey of the Spirit Squad, was arrested on DUI charges late last night in Tampa, Florida. He is currently a member of WWE developmental Florida Championship Wrestling's roster.

The former WWE World Tag Team Champion was pulled over and then arrested on Adamo Drive East and Falkenburg Road South at 11:12 PM last night. Brendli was listed as having a blood alcohol level of 0.94. A second test was conducted and it had him at a level of 0.91. He was released from jail a little more than an hour agp at 2:17 p.m. this afternoon after posting $500 bond.

According to the police report of Brendli's arrest, he refused to list his employer.

-- Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler lobbied hard to do a no scene in the movie Mercy, an upcoming film by writer Scott Caan, but director Patrick Hoelck nixed the idea. Hoelck soon changed his mind and okayed the scene with Keibler, but Keibler nixed the idea herself. Keibler was then dropped from the film altogether. The role has since been given to a "no-name" actress.

-- Vince McMahon is strongly searching for new African American Talent. Vince wants an all-American, clean-cut baby face; essentially what he wanted Lashley to be.

-- TNA officials are looking to add some new talent to the roster. Two names that have come up are former WWE stars Joey Mercury and Johnny Parisi a.k.a. Johnny Swinger. Their names have come up several times, but management has yet to pull the trigger on them. Mercury worked a dark match before last year's Bound For Glory pay-per-view, but nothing came out of it.

So 'Taker just wanted some time off?

And so does Batista...

Good thing there's a draft soon. If they would both leave SD!... What would be left except Matt Hardy.? wow.gif

But to start some discussion, who do you guys wanna see rival against each other?

I'd personally like a reunion of the Hardy's, to feud whomever, and revive the tag team part of WWE.

I'm thinking, kill the diva part, and get some tag teams.

I would also like to see a lesser thick line between the brands.

Like, they should all be able to fight everybody.

Kinda like the Michaels/Batista thing.

@ONS: Sounded like a very EXTREME ONS, with two actual injuries.

I hope The Undertaker doesnt take time off, there is barely any reasons to keep me watching wrestling, he is one of them.

Batista wanted the summer off, apparently he had arranged this like 18months ago with the WWE.

Now that Orton is out for a while, and the Big Show and the Taker situation, they doubt he will be able to get that time off.

I think the Taker will be moved to Raw in the draft or will turn up at some point, hes WWE through and through so still a big part of it im sure. He aint no spring chicken and works damn hard.

Also I just read that WWE was the 2nd most searched thing on Yahoo yesterday.

The Undertaker will be working WWE's upcoming Australian tour, replacing the Big Show who is out with a orbital bone injury. WWE is pushing a storyline where Vickie Guerrero is "allowing" Undertaker to bid farewell by wrestling during the Australian tour.

P.S. Why isn't there a seperate forum for wrestling chat so people can post different topics. Same with football, rugby, baseball, cricket etc.

Because that way it keeps things looking more organized.

Looks like they're pushing Batista for WHC gold again. These past few months the only people involved in the championship scene are Edge, 'Taker, and Batista. They need someone fresh. Even if they don't win the match/championship at least give them some experience.

This news is exclusive to The Wrestling Heraldwrestlingherald.com and Wrestling Edge wrestling-edge.com. Usually I wouldn't post MMA news here but considering Mayweather's tie-in with WWE and the magnitude of this announcement I figured i'd post this:

I just got off the phone with a source very close to the situation and I am told that Floyd Mayweather and his representatives have been in contact with UFC's Dana White as late as Wednesday but "possibly as late as last night" according to the source.

UFC is expected to make several announcements on Thursday.

1) Anderson Silva will be fighting in the light heavyweight class

2) Chuck Liddell will fight in the main event on the September pay-per-view in Atlanta

However, the big announcement being rumored is that Floyd Mayweather will be signing or has signed with UFC. For those that did not read our last update, Mayweather announced his retirement from boxing. If this signing turns out to be the case this would be a huge coup for UFC as it would surely attract some of the boxing fans that have not given UFC a chance.

Mayweather recently was part of WrestleMania XXIV in Orlando where he participated in a match against Paul "Big Show" White. Mayweather was open to do a rematch but now with the UFC deal that looks to be off the books.

Source

I posted this in the UFC topc, but I thought I should post here as well.

Smackdown was, again, sh*t. What the hell was with the main event, that waspathetic having Funaki and Nunzio and Delany there.

Vickie Guerreo has single-handedly driven SD right down the crapper.

I guess the only good thing she has done is create a Diva Championship, that will be good for the Smackdown divas for them to look to instead of just wrestling for no reason.

The TLC match at ONS was insane!!

Chokeslams onto ladders, chokeslams onto tables, Lastrides onto tables and then falling off the ladder onto a gigantic table. It was a great match.

Undertaker will make his return soon.

Im also still waiting for ReyRey to make his comeback.

sh*t that is quite a while away. I cant believe he's been kept out for that long. Big Show coming out and smacking him up really destroyed his bicep, and as the doctor said, one of the worst he has seen.

I know but it seems so much like that way, i mean when you are watching it, you dont really think about the script. I was just thinking about her making the decisions and destroying it, you know.

I guess you didn't get of the point of the entire storyline, which was to give Edge's team an advantage by having Batista teaming up with tiny jobbers.

And Smackdown doesn't need a Diva's Championship, they barely do anything with their tag belts. They should just have the Women's Championship be defended on both shows (which isn't that implausible, considering how the brand seperation is basically nonexistent).

Yea, I think the storylines are weak, but hopefully, the draft will be awesome, and renew my passion.

Cheers to a good draft, with lots of new twist/tweaks/and rivalries!
