HOLY SH*T:   HUGE BREAKING NEWS!!   I'll spoiler it just in case because I know some of you don't want to know these things ahead of time

https://gfycat.com/DisastrousShinyKinkajou   Too good not to share.

Is this The Guy?

Holy f*ck knuckle, big Davey Boy Meltzer has given The 6 man North American Ladder match AND Gargano/Ciampa 5 f*cking stars each, holy sh*t

The ladder match was great! Haven’t seen the Gargano/Ciampa match yet because of wwe network issues.

The ladder match was one of the best ladder matches they've had in years, and I'm placing that accolade squarely on Ricochet. He's stood out from all the other indie flyers by knowing how to actually add some steak with his sizzle, offering enough connective tissue for that avalanche German suplex to flow logically into the double jump moonsault. Truly a rare breed.

Ciampa/Gargano is killer, but I wouldn't give it the full 5. Jim Cornette rexently criticized it and picked it the hell apart, and while I don't agree with everything he said? I agree when he points out Gargano only has two modes of selling: "where am i?" general pain selling and "focusing on doing something" offensive selling. He's one of the weaker indie darlings post-Bryan/Joe/etc. and I've never understood why people are crazy about him. Ciampa carried that match and I can't wait for him to go main roster.

Almas/Black was my MotN. I'm not even an Almas fan (my Sombra mask was a random gift from a friend), nor Lucha in general, but he's snugged it up just enough for me. Black is the fxcking man and I've been saying that since I first saw a Sumerian Death Squad match back in 2013.

Re: Cena/Nikki

It was an obvious publicity stunt given Cena has been open about not wanting children or a wife since his divorce. While the idea of Cena and Bryan being in-laws was always a fun one, can't fault the guy for having the stance he does after knowing plenty of divorcees in my time.

Smackdown looking pretty good on hte back of Raw yesterday. So long as SD don't somehow lose anyone good tonight then looks like I can stick to Smackdown for the forseeable future,

So Bork Laser, only has two dates left, a Raw next week and The Greatest Royal Rumble against Reigns... good, might make me start watching again once he's gone.

PS WWE Don't screw Drew

Sanity also going to smackdown, minus Nikki Cross

Yeah, kinda feel bad for her getting left out like that.

Maybe she's going to get a small repackage though, which wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Rest in Peace Bruno

Have to admit 82 was good innings for a wrestler, considering how much they put their bodies through.

It's interesting how, whether it's intentional or not, there seems to have been a character arc for him over the past few years. When he demolished Cena at Summerslam in 2014 it was seen by a lot of people as a breath of fresh air, as they were expecting the usual CenawinsLOL. Now mostly I hear that people are just tired of having a part-time champion who's hardly there, and only sporadically seems to have engaging matches.

Something something die a hero, something something become a villain.

Not by me though, I've never liked him, and back in Summerslam 2014 when he was doing a thousand German suplex's on Cena, some people were creaming their pants thinking it was the greatest things ever, the same types who shat all over Triple H v Scott Steiner match at the Rumble 2003.

I get that most wrestlers have a certain set of moves, it's a staple of the business due to it's touring nature it ensures that each audience gets the same (or similar) show. But Bork is a legitimate one trick pony... OK if we're being picky then 2 if you include the F5, but still it's hardly stellar.

Those matches were great not because of moveset variety but because of how authentic and different they felt. Kinda like how Bret/Austin is still one of the greatest Submission matches ever despite it being a brawl.

Personally I love a motivated Brock when he's in there there with someone he respects. But I just don't think he's worth his money anymore. He's only been here the last 2 or so years as part of Oporation Get Roman Over. And the scope of what they've done with him in that light has been so narrow and predictable and pointless. Just to contemplate all the money they've blown through and legacies they've tarnished in trying to establish Roman is pretty insane.

Nah... bright shirts, people either love him or hate him, relationship agreements... he's basically the Superhero alter ego of Sheldon Cooper from the The Big Bang Theory.

which is a f*cking shame. Cena was a beast back then. He could be a beast on the microphone if the WWE would let him.

Yeah, he was awesome, and, although it blows he died, I am glad it wasn't the usual drugs. He lived a long life, for a wrestler.

SA put up most of the production/venue costs themself.
