Since we're one month away from 2017 which means it's almost gonna be the 20th anniversary of the Attitude Era. Do you think WWE should do a special "RAW IS WAR" edition of Monday Night Raw? Where all the matches are crazy and insane like barbed wire match, an electric cage match, an inferno match, a taped fist match, a bra and panties match, a first blood match, and more matches that relives the feel of the Attitude Era, with surprises from guest stars of wrestlers from the Attitude Era, all to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Attitude Era. Oh and the PG issue, I think they should just give a warning at the beginning of the show saying "Viewer Discretion is advised" like the beginning of the Family Matters episode "Stevil".

They might do an attitude aniversary episode of Raw is War, but it'll be just as reserved as any other modern Raw episode, and probably moreso.

Unless they do it as a Network exclusive, due to the parental controls they may well be able to do so without causing grief with sponsors etc. It may work as an enticement to older crowd who grew up in that era to check out the Network.

 

Having said that, WWE have just got a nice sponsorship deal with Snickers for Wrestlemania so they might not want to rock the boat.

WWE has already glorified the sh*t out of the Attitude Era. They've pretty much milked the cow dry and I have no idea what other way they can do it anymore. They've brought back nostalgia acts for one-off appearances, made books, DVDs, video games and entire programs on the Network dedicated to the AE and MNW. At this point, it'd just be recycling the same ol' story and as far as a tribute Raw episode, that just doesn't work today. It was a great time but not sustainable and even if they tried recreating it, it wont be the same in HDTV.

What the f*** is going on with the Woman's Division? Why is Charlotte losing every RAW title match against Snoop Dogg's gardener's cousin? This is getting old, I'm 99% sure the belt won't switch places again in the next PPV but give someone else a chance already; not a huge fan of her after so long.

 

I don't even like Bailey and I'd rather see her competing for the belt, give someone else a damn chance.

 

And I'm guessing Jericho is going to be out for a while to go on tour, at least from what I saw on WWE's Youtube channel with him in the parking lot against Rollins. If it's true, I saw it coming since his band is going on tour starting this upcoming week; hoping he comes back and starts a championship run against Owens; it's sad to see their friendship end, felt kinda rushed however I really expected it to be teased for a while longer instead of ending it in the span of 1 1/2 shows.

 

 

EDIT - I almost forgot. WHY is Reigns being pushed into the Championship run as well? I thought the whole point of giving him the U.S title was to get him to **** off from any main events; he only defended his stupid title once and then spent the last 5-7 weeks or however long it's been coming out and cracking some "jokes" to sound like a bad ass. It's getting old, I guess the writers are nothing but stupid idiots.

This. Despite what Foley said about the match last night being the last of the Sasha v Charlotte feud I still think yet another rematch is going to happen at Roadblock unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong though as I'm sick to death of watching Sasha v Charlotte. I'm hoping for a Sasha and Bayley feud.

On that subject of Cena (not that I've been keeping up that regularly with WWE these days), I've heard a rumour which is probably quite well known now, that they may well trigger the Cena v Undertaker match at Wrestlemania Sun Logo. Now this would be a great match, as it's level of match that these two are in and could pull off nicely... However, what I've also been hearing, and it could well be fantasy booking but I like it, is that it will be a career match for Taker, and to add a carrot for Cena, by the time Mania comes round Taker will be WWE Champion, therefore a title match, so Cena winning it will mean he'll equal Flair's record.

Concering Shasha/Charlotte: I dunno. They pushed quite hard that this feud was coming to an end (for now). I'm thinking that the WM plan is Bayley/Sasha III, but I can't imagine they don't have something planned for Charlotte. Perhaps the previously expected Dana feud, or maybe something with a returning Mickie James? And honestly I'd be quite up for Charlotte transfering to Smackdown too.

 

It is odd though, that aside from Sasha winning the title, things were headed towards Bayley/Charlotte & Nia/Sasha. I guess that could still all go down prior to 'Mania.

 

Either way, Charlotte's PPV winning streak will continue, whatever the surrounding landscape.

And Cena/Taker: yeah, a lot of people thought SD might win the tag & women's SSeries matcehs and Raw win the mens, leading to Taker picking a fight with AJ for letting team SD down, following up on his pre-SSeries threat. I guess that could still go down in a similar way, though if it was anyone's fault, it was Ambrose... (something to think about).

 

Personally Cena/Taker for the title/retirement doesn't interest me in any significant way, so it'll probably happen.

Watched Smackdown for the first time in ages and gotta say it was fairly enjoyable. Main event was alright, Styles destroying Ellsworth was cool and I also liked the Becky/Alexa stuff.

She was obviously in it for the money. Why face an opponent straight away that was just as strong as the last person who royally kicked your ass? 1 year without fighting is quite a long time. The prudent thing would be to get back to fighting weaker opponents (like she used to do) and then build up for the title match. But nope. She thought all her talk would do the work for her, and the 3m surely felt appealing, and that was that. Can't see her coming back from this. Not even a minute, jeez.

Was watching WWE on and off until the brand split because most of they sh*t they put on now is ass but does anyone watch New Japan? Specifically Wrestle Kingdom 11? More specifically Okada v Omega? God damn that was one of the best matches I've seen in a long, long while. 45 mins long but I still wanted to go on and on. Won't spoil anything incase someone hasn't seen it yet but was planning to. Great card though in general, especially the championship matches.

I guess that kind of match-up isn't everyone's cup of tea. Royal Rumble predictions though? Picking a winner this year is really up in the air. Could be Goldberg or Lesnar (although I think their feud is going to carry on till WM), Taker (would make sense if Cena beats Styles), a returning Balor (hopefully to end Owens' horrible title reign), Reigns (f*ck no), Rollins (although him vs. HHH is likely at Mania)... I haven't caught up all that much so maybe I'm missing a few guys.
