Goldberg's return promo last night was great, glad they just let him go out there and just cut a promo that came from his heart. He's still in great shape and if they play their cards right, this match could be good as long as they emphasize storytelling and spectacle over the actual in ring wrestling. As for this week, WWE was really foolish for trying to get heel heat on Brock in Minneapolis, the state where he went to college and became a NCAA Champion isn't going to boo him, especially when he hasn't even been acting very heel-ish lately.

 

It's like if WWF expected Bret Hart to get boo'd as a heel in Canada when he was doing the Anti-American gimmick in 1997, they realized he had to work as a babyface in Canada because of how much those fans loved him, so they just rolled with it by having Bret play to the Canadians and had guys like Shawn and Austin be more hostile towards the Canadian crowd when they would run a Raw up there.

The Womens Hell in a Cell was amazing. I just, why? What was that ending? Charlotte didn't need to win, they're gonna keep this feud going forever.

Rollins Vs KO was a great HIAC match. I thought when Jericho was coming in, he would ruin it. But he didn't. He made it better.

Happy with Charlotte winning honestly, prefer her more than anyone in the locker room to be the Women's champion. That being said, I'm absolutely tired of Mrs. Snoop Dogg's Janitor's Manager's Bodyguard's Daughter's Cousin getting the title twice now from her (both on actual RAW shows I believe) and then losing it on the first PPV defending her title lol. DON'T do this again, move on to someone else.

 

Still waiting for Jericho to turn on Kevin, seeing as how his band is starting their tour soon; I wouldn't be surprised if their friendship ends sometime in the following week.

I don't agree at all. Maybe a few good spots, but so much botch. Charlotte falling through that table wasn't supposed tto happen. Sasha was going to do something from the top. Then you have Charlotte tossing sasha into that table twice without it breaking. Othere things were bad as well, but having Charlotte win again is getting old. 3 time champion on her way to be 16 time within the year. The overall ppv was bad. Smackdown is well ahead of raw.

According to most reports, Vince didn't want it to headline. Other people in the company persuaded him.

 

I wouldn't have a problem with them headlining if the match had been anywhere close to their Takeover matches or WM tripple threat, but it just wasn't good.

I started an hour late and didn't even bother watching the women's match when I read who won

 

I don't know if I'm the only one in here who thinks this but I am not looking forward to this Goldberg/Lesnar rematch.

I guess he will work more matches then. He hasn't been a full time wrestler since 2010 although he did appear occasionally last year. Always awesome when Taker returns! He really should retire soon though because of age and all injuries he's had over the years.

Have some respect for Goldberg. He was the Mike Tyson of his time. Maybe if Goldberg at 49 had beat a young 26 yr old prime Lesnar I could understand your disapprovel. However he beat a fat 39 yr old Lesnar, who's hype was built by false hype. Undertakers streak should have been ended by Randy Orton years ago during his legend killer run. Taker was beating A-Trains and washed up Kanes. The streak was just a chore.

 

p.s. Taker is in his 50's so miss me with the age argument.

I won't lie though it was a good mark out moment. I just don't understand why build up years and years of Lesnar going through the roster to then be defeated in minutes. I guess they were trying to have that WCW style Goldberg squash match, but even then Goldberg was only squashing midcarders and jobbers, and if he was going up against someone who was a maineventer it wouldn't be a 1 minute long match. I also probably shouldn't have brought age into it... Haha was kinda frustrated last night. None the less the PPV was pretty good. I do agree the streak should've ended with Randy. Legend killer Randy was amazing loved his entrance theme at the time also.

Their Wrestlemania XX match was a bit like that and it was terrible viewing IMO.

 

I didn't expect a classic, but I have to admit seeing Goldberg completey destroy Lesnar like that was gold. Brought back memories of his monster WCW run during the streak.

 

He still looks to be in really good shape too for his age.
