Yeah. He's not a card carrying KKK member, I think he's just prejudiced, which by the way, a lot of people from his era and generation were, still a very segregated time that he grew up in, especially down south. So him having those views and opinions doesn't exactly surprise me too much.

Fairly sure most people in general have their "prejudices" when it comes to the subject of dating. White, black or any other color. Hogan is a lot more straightforward here because like anyone else, the real thoughts come out in private and I'm willing to bet that it would not look pretty for the people judging him if things they've said by themselves or around a close friend came out in public. Taking things in context, I don't think Hogan's racism is the horrible type where he looks down on blacks as inferior, he's just not exactly into interracial dating when it comes to his family, which I think could be the case for even the most hardcore "I want equality" SJWs from this generation. This mindset is fairly common, it just happens that most of the time, it never gets broadcasted to the world via a sneaky tape or even aired out to the people you trust the most.

A lot of black people in the business came out and said that they've only been treated nicely by Hogan, so I don't think he looks at black people in an automatically negative light, it's kind of like how a lot of people are fine with gay people getting married and adopting children nowadays, but if they found out one of their family members was gay, they might feel a little uncomfortable with it. They wouldn't want to deny them rights or disown them from the family, but there would be a prejudice there that they can't help but feel.

I'm glad they're finally catching up with Raw by adding the Smackdown episodes from 2000 and 2001. Can't wait until they upload the show from Edmonton when Benoit faces Austin in what I consider to be the greatest match on live television ever.

That's exactly why I want to see the 1999-2001 Nitro shows, we have the ones with the great stories and the awesome cruiserweight matches, now I want to see them add the car-crash Russo era stuff. That being said, one thing that we need from late '99 Nitro though is the classic Benoit-Bret match that was the Owen Hart Tribute match.

 

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who remembers and thoroughly enjoyed the Chris Benoit vs Steve Austin match from SmackDown, underrated match that one was and pretty technical stuff for post neck injury Stone Cold.

Hearing a rumor that WWE is planning Roman Reigns vs John Cena for the big angle of the Summer leading into Summerslam as well as Lesnar vs Wyatt that they originally wanted to go with for Mania.

 

Also hearing that Vince also really, really wants Cena-Taker and possibly for the WWE Title, Vince was heartbroken this year when Cena couldn't work a match for Mania and still badly wants that John Cena vs Undertaker match for WrestleMania 33.

I'd actually pay money to see that, matter of fact I'm planning on attending Summerslam this year since it's about 40 minutes away from me.

 

Though I'm not sure how the crowd is at Summerslam compared to Wrestlemania (does SM have smarks like WM?), so I'm not sure whether they'll be cheering Cena over Reigns or not.
