HHH usually doesn't mind putting people over, I mean he's got his ass royally kicked by the late Umaga and all. He did with Ambrose this past monday with that monster DDT LOL. Nobody is digging Reigns.. can't really blame HHH.

 

Yeah we all know about Shane. I didn't know that about Vince and HHH though. I guess that too makes sense, because HHH is a wrestler before he is a cooperate guy, and Vince thinks the WWE is a reality TV show.. These guys go out and bust their ass and even got hurt/career ending injuries. He should see them more than just.. "stars". The NXT guys are feeling it, they seeing it. Yeah dudes, stay in the NXT. You have no future in the WWE as long as Vince is running it.

Honestly I wouldn't feel negatively about either Shane or Triple H taking over, apparently Shane had a lot to do with some of the good business moves they made in the late 90's to early 00's and Triple H has proved that he can run a quality wrestling show with his success and fan acclaim and critical acclaim alike as the head guy in charge of NXT.

Been playing lately a lot of TNA iMPACT! on PS2 and finished the story mode some weeks ago over a weekend.

Fun game. Get's a lot of bad rep, but it's an okay game most definitely. At least after you unlock all the wrestlers and arenas.

 

For this game I had to specifically get a modded PS2 to run all region games.

"King of Colosseum 2", along with many other puroresu game titles have been released exclusively only in Japan.

Made in 2004: before the rise to today's stardom for such men as Hiroshi Tanahashi and Shinsuke Nakamura.

They're both in the game though, along with many legendary figures such as Keiji "The Great Muta" Mutoh, Mitsuharu Misawa, Toshiaki Kawada

, Jushin "Thunder" Liger etc.

Features title matches and tournament modes, such as the G1 Climax and Best of Super Juniors.

Fun game too. Both this, and "TNA iMPACT!" different from the popular WWE games. IMO these two are better, all though atleast "TNA iMPACT!"

would've needed some major improvements. Still: fun games to play. King of Colosseum 2 has pretty much everything written in Japanese in-game,

so it's challenging to set up the game play for anything more than a plain exhibition or a title match mode, but still, you get used to it.

I've always heard that the Japanese wrestling games have been really good, would I need a Japanese region coded PS2 to play them or would they work on any PS2, regardless of the region?

They will work on a chipped PS2 just fine. My SVR 2006 CD is the Japanese version (complete with mostly Japanese text that I had to try deciphering) and works on my chipped PS2. I have another that has not been modded and the game doesn't work on it.

Yeah, you'd either need a Japanese region (NTSC-J) PlayStation 2 or a modded/chipped console that is made region free.

 

I highly suggest trying Japanese pro-wrestling games. The problem is of course that most of them are released in Japan only.

But that didn't stop me, so it shouldn't stop you either, if you really want to try 'em: "Where there's a will, there's a way."

A wwe live event in new Jersey is going head to head with The Road block special. The non televised event is featuring Kevin owens vs aj styles for the championship in a 30 min iron man match. I would like to see that, wonder why they are doing it like that.

That's a bit like comparing Giraffes to Meth. Being policeman generally is perceived to be a job, and jobs last a certain time and then you stop, whilst you maintain an interest, it's still a job. Whereas wrestling is more a profession and professions tend to be for life... or until something will stop you from doing it.

I knew they wouldn't change their plans. Ambrose and HHH had a good match together. Roadblock was odd, and bray didn't even get one hit, come on.

 

Do you think dean comes out on Monday and calls a fix, saying he was close but not under the rope? Evidence could be the ref attempting to 3 count when he was staring at HHH proped on the ropes for leverage.

 

Edit- Was that the same ref that reversed the 3 count when ambrose.pinned Rollins for the belt? I beleive so

Dean and Triple H had a really great match, but it's a shame that WWE is so unrelenting to change that main event that no one but Vince really wants to see, at least not as the closer the WrestleMania. I can't imagine Reigns-Triple H being nearly that good besides the artificial drama WWE will try to pump into that match to get the fans going, like 20 finisher kick-outs and possible run ins or swerves, but the in ring action isn't going to be anywhere near classic.

I cannot wait for Charlotte to lose the title since she's just Ric Flair with a vagina, and about equally as attractive. Only reason I didn't skip the match is cause she was facing Natalya who I love. I'm completely happy with either Becky or Sasha winning the title since they're both great Divas and actually enjoyable to watch.

 

Sucks that nothing changed at Roadblock, like absolutely nothing. All the matches were good watches though at least but the PPV felt more like a speedbump than a roadblock since nothing changed for Wrestlemania. Loved the Bray Wyatt vs Brock Lesnar promo as well, though it was really done well.

Bray whyatt didn't wrestle at roadblock because it's being said he is having back issues, and wwe didn't want got to take any bumps.
