I can't even remember the last time I saw Shane. He's got more grey hairs than Vince lol.

 

Anyway Shane vs Undertaker in a Hell In Cell sounds more intriguing than the Strowman vs Undertaker rumours that were floating around.

IIRC his last appearence was that hell in the cell match with him, Vince, Big Show vs HHH and Shawn Michaels, where Shane got the worse of the beating.

 

But we all know he really just left the WWE because he didn't like how things were going and went on to form his own business.

 

Yeah, Shane hasn't aged well. Other sh*t probably went down in his life.

So glad I caught Shane's return as it happened. Totally didn't expect that but I read the rumors about the big surprise to open the show so I turned on a stream and had it on the background. Steph was boring me with another lame ass speech and then I totally marked out as soon as I heard "Here comes the money!".

 

Also checked out the Brock/Ambrose stuff and I'm glad they did away with the Wyatt/Lesnar plans because Wyatt has dead heat and is a waste of Brock.

 

Saw the beating to end the show too and it was pretty cool. I am not the biggest HHH fan but man is he capable of playing the cool badass that you wanna cheer. But this is f*cking stupid and the reaction is the equivalent of Vince getting cheered for screwing over Austin. It's like they've forgotten what made them win the war. But I guess that comes with the comfort of being the only big name in town and having no competition. Either way, Reigns is done and completely hopeless as a face. If they are hell bent on making him the top face, he has to go heel. I'm far from the only one suggesting that but he's got NO CHANCE IN HELL to make it in his current state. The worse they beat him, it alienates all 5 of his casual fans because he looks weak while the detractors will cheer it and the stronger they book him, the more fans will be driven away into indifference. lol @ writing him off because the upcoming weeks will be in smark towns and they don't want him to be eaten alive by the crowd every week.

It's great to see Shane don't get me wrong but the lad isn't a spring chicken anymore. Is he really facing Taker? How am I supposed to buy into that? I will of course because it's f*cking Shane McMahon but he's a pudgy middle aged guy now. Is he going to jump off cages and take massive bumps? It's hard to imagine man.

I think we know Shane has the balls to do it, but I'm not sure if at his age it'd be a smart thing for him to do. He was in his late 20's/early 30's when he was doing that before and even watching him do it then was scary, now in his mid 40's I'm not sure if he can do that type of stuff any longer.

I remember when Shane was in a last man standing match with Kane at Unforgiven 03, Shane lost because he thought it was a good idea to jump off the titontron and land on top of Kane but he moved and Shane went through the black plastic stage thing to the left of the stage

They need something unpredictable for that main event for sure. Just like last year's was saved by a swerve finish, WWE's gotta be able to pull one off again.

I have a hard time seeing Vince allowing a differing finish to Roman beating HHH cleanly. This event is giving me the WM29 predictable finish vibes which means Vince will do all that is possible to ensure Roman goes over in his way. Didn't Scott Hall state that Vince told him that he would rather have a half empty arena cheering for who he wanted than a full arena cheering for who he doesn't want?
