So HBK turned on Cena after RAW last night!

 

I find it so funny that people cheered for it! So if WWE's plan was to give Cena more 'face' credit @ WM, it's failed horribly, if anything, Shawn Michaels now has more 'face' credit for WM, and Cena will be the one getting booed to complete sh*t @ WM!!

I don't think they wanted that. I think they wanted it face vs. face. I know it is a bit weird, but I think it works out. You just get to cheer for who you like, rather than who WWE forces down your throat. It's a bit differen't, and it seems to work. Although I bet HBK will have a bigger fan base at WrestleMania, having his every move get booed.

They were in Chicago, which was probably the worst place to turn HBK on Cena. They needed to get across that HBK kicking Cena was bad, but the idiot smarks in Chicago just had to cheer it because they think being able to do a flip is remarkable wrestling.

I actually missed Raw last night, but I just found out what happened on WWE.com. f*cking finally too, I've been waiting for Shawn to kick Cena ever since it was officially confirmed that they would be facing each other at WrestleMania.

Looks like both HBK and Taker are the heels going in. It actually seemed more fans were supporting Cena up until HBK officially made his move. Hopefully the fans support them still, and they take the titles. Cena wins, Detroit should riot, and that goes double for Batista.

I really don't think that both Champions will lose. Someone will retain and I'm going with Cena over HBK. I think Cena loses the rematch though at Backlash.

 

That Cutting-Edge segment on RAW was hilarious. I wouldn't be surprised if Edge wins MITB again.

I doubt that. I think the Money in the Bank match is more of a push match, much like the King of the Ring. Edge can make main events and earn title shots on his own now. It would be good for Kennedy or CM Punk. I can't see Jeff Hardy winning it, as he is sh*t on the mic. Matt is a little better, but he has had chances, and just can't cut it. It will be Kennedy, Punk or Orton. Booker and Edge are secured.

 

If it is Matt or Jeff, rest assured they fight for the ECW title. RVD, Big Show, Lashley....it is obvious you don't need mic skills for that title.

That reminds me, did anyone notice when it came back from the commercial on the MITB segment that CM Punk and Mr. Kennedy were joking around, laughing and talking and stuff? And CM Punk jokingly tapped him in the crotch, like they had no idea the cameras were rolling. It only lasted for about 5 seconds but it was funny as hell if you caught it.

I say them talking, but I didn't see the "tag" lol. I always record Raw, so I will be sure to check this out lol. I thought they were just talking sh*t but in a joking way, rather than being hostile.

That's my predictions. Looking at the card it's disappointing there are no matches for the RAW or SD tag titles, it just proves how little WWE values that division these days.

I never noticed that til now, good point you have there.

 

Maybe they should of done a title unification match between both the tag titles, and the champs go on both shows from time to time, that'd shake stuff up in the division.

 

I did hear that there was going to be a huge tag match or battle royale again this year but it'll probaly be dark match on DVD boxset only.

For the past few years, WM is lacking in good title matches i.e. the IC chamionship. I don't want to see that stupid New breed vs. Originals match, it's gonna suck. the only good things this year are the two Heavyweight title match which i know the results will dissapoint, but anyway as i said before i hope for surprises.

Demolition were the f*cking best tagteam ever. I loved them so much when I was a kid.

 

I wonder when they'll be inducted into the HOF, hopefully next year along with Savage and Flair.

IGN has a new Q&A up with THQ about Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. After the flop that 07 took, I am hoping they step up their game, and it looks like they may be doing that. Redoing all animations.

At least get the full roster on there, or at least the main roster at the time it is finalized. If someone gets called up in between the development and the release of the game, I won't hold it against them. Still, the last version didn't even have London & Kendrick. I'm looking forward to having them battle Deuce & Domino.

Lol, I don't get it about submissions. You use the analog stick to dictate how much pressure you apply. Wouldn't you always apply the most pressure you can. Unless maybe adding more will make it easier to escape or something.

But In my Opinion the line up for WM is the Worst one yet, not liking the Hair vs Hair match over what? To see who is richer sounds really stupid.

And also the fact that Two Established wrestlers are Main Eventing, HBK and The Undertaker have been around for Nearly 20 Years, WWE should have pushed Mid-Card talent like, Orton, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Edge ( Although he had his Push, the Feud with Cena was awesome ), Benoit ect... Instead of pushing already over Wrestlers, but it would be awesome to see HBK as Champ again.

 

Im gearing up for the Money In the Bank match though, its the only reason to watch WM23 ( imo ), and I hope Matt Hardy will win it, he's been Underrated for so long that its not funny.

I think that the "Battle Of The Billionaires" is getting a little too much publicity, when they can be using a lot of those TV spots to promote some of the matches that actually look good. Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga is not a great match to base WrestleMania on IMO, that's like promoting Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg as your top match, and we all know how bad that match was. The only thing that made it worthwile was the fact that Stone Cold was guest referee. That was the only match I didn't like from WrestleMania XX.

 

But aside from that problem I have with WM 23, I'm looking forward to this even more than WM 22.

I can't believe I just realized how terrible this match will probaly end up being. But by god, I can't wait for the end.

You guys are being unreasonable. Kane Vs Khali will be terrible. That will be my bathroom break. Umaga Vs Lashley won't be that bad. I like Umaga and his match vs Cena at Royal Rumble was good imo. Lashley is a bit boring but he can perform in the ring as well. My problem with Lashley is that they are pushing him way too much. I think with Stone Cold as the ref this match will be great.

 

Its been confirmed that Vince McMahon will wrestle Rey Mysterio in a cage at Summerslam so don't be surprised if Mysterio comes down and costs Umaga the match.

Carlito is not happy about not being on the WrestleMania card and said so in an interview with the Edmonton Sun.

 

"I'm out of Wrestlemania. Apparently, they had to make space for Kane vs. Khali and Melina vs. Ashley. How can I be at Wrestlemania? If I politic and kiss ass, I should make it."
