Didn't watch tonight but as usual when I'm awake, I read the show breakdown and it amazes me how little effort they put into the show. The show opens with the tournament and Reigns interrupts and none of the other participants... so that means anyone who would expect anyone else to win the final match needs their head examined.

 

But seriously, I hope Reigns wins at Survivor Series and they get this sh*t over with. Rather they do it now instead of waste the Royal Rumble and WM main event on his "journey" again. Plus Rollins as champion has been crap and a title change is way overdue.

He has had plenty of chances and is very overwhelmingly horrible. He has nothing to offer. Don't need to judge the book by its cover when the book is only 3 pages long. I hope he fails and he just goes away. In my opinion he is very undeserving of his pushes, and should still be in nxt.

I don't have too much a problem with Reigns himself anymore. He's had some pretty good matches in recent times, though nothing any other half-decent wrestler on the roster couldn't do given the chance. But the main problem is the way they insist on booking him. They just don't learn and are asking for another fan revolt.

So many Australians in NXT now. They just hired Chris Atkins last week too. Surely an Aussie stable is on the horizon?

 

But anyways, the main reason to watch last night's NXT is Chad Gable.

Jordan & Gable vs Ciampa & Gargano was a brilliant tag match. Really impressed with Jordan & Gable, can't wait for them to be eventually called up to the main roster. Hopefully the future tag team champions.

I'll have to check out NXT this week, I usually just watch the specials. Can't wait to see some NXT tag teams brought up to the main roster, if they want to make the tag team division important again they need more talents on that roster so we're not getting stale match ups. Would love to see Gargano and Ciampa get full time contracts as well.

I dislike Reigns too, but the hatred for him is becoming a meme. He's improved a lot in the ring and has put on good matches with guys like Lesnar and Bryan, but even with guys who can't carry him, like Big Show. His promos aren't great, but they're quick and to the point, which is fine IMO.

I don't think many people actually hate Reigns. They just hate that he's main event status and people like Cesaro aren't. In that case, they should be booing WWE Creative and not Reigns himself. If you were in his position you'd be an idiot to decline the opportunities he's getting. I'm not his biggest fan but he can put on a good match. His promos leave a lot to be desired though. My only issue is the lack of names in the main event hat. If he was just one name alongside a dozen of names in the hat, like Cesaro, then people wouldn't bat an eye.

Some of these wrestlers need to stop taking boos so Goddamn personally, the majority of people couldn't care less about who he is away from the ring, but they hate that someone who isn't even a top 25-30 best worker on the roster is getting pushed to the moon, especially when it's at the expense of people that the crowd finds entertaining.
