I've lost so much interest in the main roster, I'm only really bothered about NXT as far as WWE are concerned these days.

But, I've got a new love in my life, Lucha Underground, I've been so much catchup on it, and it's simply awesome. Great matches every week, hardly a dull match, great storylines, which they stick to, great setting and visuals for the promo segments, the only negative I can find with the show is a lack of replays of awesome spots. But other than that, I would highly recommend it.

I'm hoping to get the El Rey network when I change cable providers in the near future so I can watch LU more consistently.

The wrestling almost always feels inspired and insipid performances are very seldom put in, the high spots and brawls are balls to the walls, they have a violence and intensity that WWE, TNA and even ROH lack with theirs. The angles are what a wrestling show needs to ever potentially get an Emmy. The production is amazing and their set has a very unique vibe that feels like I'm almost watching a professionally shot wrestling fight club instead of a bland "Sports Entertainment" show that we get on Mondays. The commentary is also good as Striker and Vampiro know their wrestling, they call spots, feel invested and also help add a unique feel that other TV broadcasted wrestling shows don't have and only PWG's commentary comes close to matching.

Give it a year and you may be able to take the last three words off that sentence.

People have said that for the past 10 years about TNA, but with the move to DA, losing a lot of their homegrown talents and also the legends, (besides Hogan, he was a welcome loss,) it ain't looking good.

I think the lack of replays adds to the special-ness of those big spots. The more you watch something, the more familiar you are with it including the little minutiae of it and I think it loses something about it.....hope that made sense. Whatever, CERO MIEDO!

Also, I don't know how far you are into it so I won't go in to detail but there's one wrestler who has two UNBELIEVABLE spots. Absolutely incredible! Enjoy them.

Alberto el Patron has just debuted, but I'm aware of the 'office' spot, if that's the one your thinking of.

As for the replay's I don't mean every match, but maybe add it to main event matches only, so it makes it more special.

I know who you're talking about (I think) and his high spots and the fact that Lucha Underground allows him to do them are part of the reason why it's such a different product than the other wrestling companies with TV deals.

I really would love to see something like HBO or Showtime get LU that would allow them to still be edgy, I know that's super wishful thinking but I would seriously watch that show every week if it was on a channel I got that.

I miss SmackDown from 2008-2012.

Not that it was any good, but boy have I learned to appreciate it when I watch SmackDown now.

Smackdown from during the Teddy Long days was awesome, then he had a "heart attack" and Vicky became GM and then Edge started hogging the World title, who the hell booked that sequence of events

Also 8000 post for me, Holla Holla playa

^That's when Smackdown was in its prime, Heyman was booking, Lesnar, Mysterio, Benoit, Eddie, Edge, Undertaker and Angle all made the shows must see, they adopted the cruiserweight division, had some really good tag wrestling and you got many 4-5 star matches from that 2-3 year period.

SmackDown 6 was the best era I agree. Especially since beside it was Triple H's 20 minute monologue to open every show era.

Smackdown was great up until 2007, specially in 2002-03. Last time it was worth watching was in mid 2011 when it still had its last bit of identity. But it's been dogsh*t and must NOT watch since 2012.

But right now it doesn't matter because Raw is just as bad. There's not ONE thing about WWE's TV product that is worth a damn thing. It's unbelievable just how much worse things seem to get with this company.

Yeah the only good WWE really does is the PPVs (and NXT if you count that), Raw and Smackdown usually aren't worth the effort.

Smackdown's still the go-to show for "decent" mid card matches and good promos. Not that you'd watch the whole show for those segments. More often than not I just go back and watch the bits that get hype.

Same. If I hear like, Cesaro and Rollins wrestle a 15-20 minute match then I'll check it out. Otherwise I don't really care.

Funnily enough though, SD was better than Raw this week.

Best Wyatt promo in months, first good womens match since this "revolution" started (even if the end was annoying), New Day being New Day, and a fun Lumberjack match with a nice ending.

Well SD being better than Raw isn't saying a whole lot, it still usually isn't worth watching through the whole damn thing.

The tag team division would be really strong if you then had 2 veteran teams around to help young tag teams find their way. The crazy part is, after the better half of 2 decades of them doing crazy stunts, Matt and especially Jeff aren't even that limited as workers whatsoever. So they could still put on some great matches as well. Just bring some more NXT or indie tag teams onto the main roster or wait until Cesaro & Kidd as well as The Usos are back and they'll be pretty set.

They announced the last roster additions for WWE 2K16. Biggest surprises to me were Savio Vega and Mikey Whipwreck. There was also 2 versions of Undertaker announced though which confused me cause I thought they said they weren't just making multiple copies of the same wrestlers.

I think they said that there will be over 120 characters and that number doesn't include the ones with multiple variations, so they won't be counting the two versions of Taker as 2 characters towards their 120 wrestler promise supposedly.

Also, there's news that WWE is setting up a Reigns heel turn after a babyface run that they've generally seen as a failure. Take this with a grain of salt as you would all dirtsheet sh*t of course.

This would be good for him though, as he naturally comes off as a cocky douche and it would limit what he has to do in the ring. Heels make up a good portion of their offensive attacks with dirty tactics and cheap shots in the WWE, and thus his limited moveset and lack of variety would be a lot less exposed when he's working heel.

A heel turn is the only thing that could save Reigns at this point. As soon as he's close to the title, fans always boo the sh*t out of him because WWE broke their trust after the Royal Rumble crap.

Don't know if what I saw was the full 2K16 roster but it looked pretty underwhelming and nothing special at all. So many characters yet no Eddie Guerrero... Although truthfully, literally the only thing that could ever get me to buy a WWE game again is if they by some miracle included Chris Benoit but that's obviously not gonna happen.
