The midcard champion beats the main champion by submission. This company... It's like we already know Cohn Jena is "superior" to Reth Sollins, but at least pretend that the latter is THE main champion instead of further driving that point home.

 

Didn't watch the show just read the recap btw. But now I gotta see what this is all about regarding Cena's nose.

You know I probably wouldn't hate Cena nearly as much as I do if it weren't for his god damn fanbase. Last night in a wrestling group I just stated my opinion on him and then I get all these keyboard warriors coming at me threatening to break my nose if I don't respect Cena. Seriously these nerds need a life.

I don't watch much WWE outside of the PPVs and a few of the better Raw matches, I do stick to ROH and PWG for the most part nowadays. If Raw starts picking up steam again then I might have to check it out once more. As for Brock vs Taker, it's actually building up to seem like a good feud with the segments they've had, unfortunately the match won't live up to the brawls and confrontations they'll be having, they could definitely do better with Brock though (*cough*Lesnar vs Cesaro or Lesnar vs Orton*cough*)

SummerSlam is going to be so lackluster. And they are going to make it 4 hours as if they haven't burned out the audience with enough hours of TV. I barely skim through some of Raw and read Smackdown spoilers and I feel exhausted keeping up with them.

 

They are putting all their eggs in one basket for this show with Brock vs Taker being their sole hope. Everyone else will be having rematches with sh*tty builds or none at all. Wyatt vs Reigns expanded into a tag match, Orton vs Sheamus again, Cesaro vs Owens, Cena vs Rollins again after a 20 minute match with a clean finish and I don't know what else. Looks like they'll offer August for free so I'll stick around for SummerSlam but definitely don't expect it to be that way after next month because the product is dead and boring, there's also not enough retro content that I really like to watch. (Raw and Smackdown from 2000-2006 to be exact)

I get what eveyone means and I do agree WWE hasn't been the same since 03 - 08, I'm a wrestling fan and I need my wrestling fix, which is why I can tolerate some of the retarted garbage WWE throws at me, TNA I have access to but its hits the fan and is currently trying to swim up creek with out any paddles

 

As for ROH, PWG and Lucha Underground, If I had access I'd watch those aswell

The stupid Mega Powers gimmick with Axelmania and Mandow has been mercifully scrapped. It worked for Axel but I hated it so much when they added Sandow into that nonsense when he should've gone back to being himself after getting over as a double stunt.

I still love the WWE tbh it's just something that's stuck with me throughout my life. ROH & TNA have come and gone but WWE has always been an interest of mine. Only times I've ever ragedquit the WWE was when Cena buried Wade Barrett. I also remember being real mad about Muhammed Hassan getting cut considering he was the best heel the WWE(with the E) has ever had.

It's simple it's not a talent competition, these shoes with viewer voting are always popularity contests. ZZ is the underdog everyone loves the underdog story, except in this case this underdog can barely perform the moves and keep up. it's sad, because all the people who realy want it and are working hard to get it will lose to someone that's barely even trying.

Would Cena's broken nose put him out of action and if so how long

It depends on what kind of break it is, but from the look of things I'd say his bridge is shattered. In which case, he'd probably be out of any real action for a couple weeks, and after that he'd probably be ok as long as he wore a face protector (like Cody Rhodes a while ago). Might be prone to bleeds though for a good month when exerting himself.

 

I had that kind of break several years ago and was ok (pain-free, no nosebleeds, etc) after 3 weeks or so (following surgery rather than following the break itself, but I imagine Cena will have had surgery Tuesday evening or wednesday sometime).

 

My real concern though was I think he may have been concussed. He seemed a little dizzy, and he was even holding the US title backwards at the end, and didn't notice despite the fact it was right in front of his face.That could mean weeks/months.

 

 

So, if there's no other issues, He'll be back to action in 2/3 weeks, if it's more serious, 4-6, and if he got a serious concussion, who knows.

Cena has been holding the title backwards ever since he got it. Nothing new or pointing to be concussed, I always wondered why he did it but nothing new there.
