I see Charlotte dropping the belt tonight. Shes been due for a main roster call up for a while. As much as I want Becky Lynch to win, I see Sasha getting the title tonight. Balor/Neville is gonna be a MOTY candidate with Balor going over. As for the main event, I cant say I'm sure Steen wins or Zayn. I like that they have a match where you cant say oh this guy is gonna win.

Opener was really good, the kicks were solid from both guys as you'd expect and Breeze's work on Kenta's leg was great. Corbin vs Dempsey was disappointing as it was short as hell and had the no-dq stip never came into play. That tag match was looking like a botch-fest for the first few minutes, then when Blake and Murphy hit the back suplex into a neckbreaker, everything after that was great, they kicked it into gear and put on a badass tag match.

I agree Corbin vs Dempsey was disappointing. When I see no dq as a stipulation I expect them to go all out.

It was great but it will be a HUGE disappointment if the main event isn't the match of the night.

What do you know, you actually let the women wrestle for more than 3 minutes, and they regularly are able to put on an amazing match. That might have been the best women's wrestling match I've ever seen, definitely the best to happen under the WWE umbrella. I'd go as far to say that they put on just as good of a match as Devitt and Neville in my opinion.

KEVIN F*CKING STEEN. What a match, made him look like the NXT's version of Brock Lesnar, the referee stoppage with Zayn not giving up is just great booking as Steen looks like a monster that will stop at nothing to get the title, even if it means crippling his own best friend and it makes Zayn look like the ultimate babyface that just doesn't stop fighting and refuses to give in.

I didn't mind it, it sets up for a must see rematch and makes both guys looks great, Steen looks like a beast and Zayn looks like a lovable babyface who tries to stay in the fight no matter what happens to him.

I just hate the ref stoppage end. Just have him pin him for f*ck sake. I wouldn't have minded it then.

 

Either way, the second I saw someone in the crowd wearing that Sami Zayn and the Zayniacs shirt I automatically ordered it.

 

 

But hey I was one match away from being 100% correct on my predictions. For some reason I thought the Luchadragons might win the belts back but it didn't happen. Dunno why the crowd seems to be turning on them. I still think they're awesome.

I think the ending was booked perfectly. Owens looks like a beast and Zayn is the baby face that wouldn't give up and now he wasn't pinned for the title which sets up the continuation of this awesome feud.

Amazing show but crap ending, WHY DIDNT REGAL RESTART THE DAMN MATCH, I still like Steen but what a crappy ending.

 

Balor/Neville was simple awesome, I literally yelled out "THIS IS WHY I'M A WRESTLING FAN"

 

And that Divas title match, My face was massively shocked when THE BOSS won the title

Definitely the best women's match in a very, very long time. Sasha's crossface at the end looked awesome, surprised they actually called it a crossface and let her use it as a chokehold. I like how they don't call the women "Divas" and just call it the Women's Title and not the NXT Diva's Championship or something.

What I was hoping would happen is The ref awards the title to Steen and Regal comes in and says

(Regal) No!!! This match will not end this way, I'm restarting this match

Steen argues with Regal and in the back ground you see Zayn getting up from his groggy state and Steen accepts this and goes over to attack Sami and Sami rolls up Steen and wins and retain his title

Missed the show thanks to me thinking it was a great idea to take a nap at 6pm.. but managed to tune in just in time to watch Finn against Adrian, dude's entrance still gives me chills.

I don't really buy into Owens as being some unstoppable force. You need a really unique look to pull it off and he just looks like a chubby backyard wrestler. I'm a fan of his but I'm not a fan of how he's being portrayed. The "unstoppable force" type of character is also heavily overused in WWE. They should use it sparingly. The Balor and Neville match was great although I think I liked the Neville and Zayn match a little more. Womens match was pretty good as well. Sasha Banks <3.

It's all due to the fact those pricks Vince and Dunn have no control over it and it's all Triple H. He's also a wrestling fan at heart and would rather give us a proper show rather than that "sport entertainment" crap Dunn and Vince touch themselves to.

 

I don't follow NXT but since I have the free Network month, I'll check out some of the matches on the event. Only watched Zayn vs Cesaro from last year and it was a near 5 star match.

They stopped using the "Attitude" tag line when the company's named changed from WWF to WWE. Monday Night Wars ended in 2001 once WCW died for sure though.
