Have you guys heard the news about Seth Rollins? Pretty nervous about the outcome since he's pretty much my favorite on the company right now aside from Lesnar.

I think he's screwed.

The Rollins drama was hundred times more interesting than anything that has happened in the product for months. (RR reaction aside) Didn't watch Raw and reading the results sure as hell hasn't got me convinced to do otherwise.

The Royal Rumble edition of Botchamania is great.

Just watched it and it was non-stop comedy. Liked the addition of the Barrett debut botch towards the end.

 

That Rumble match... talk about a disaster. Didn't even notice JBL botching at the end and calling Reigns the 2014 winner.

Too bad three of them are the EXACT same with little to no difference in appearance or anything for that matter. It would make sense if they actually went through with his various "looks" in which case they could have Rookie Orton with the shaggy hair, Legend Killer Orton from 03-07, early Viper with buzzcut but not the tattoos from late 07-08 then bald and clean cut Orton from 2009 followed by the 2011-present day one with beard.

 

Aren't there also three different Alberto del Rio's? What a waste.

I guess they'd rather have 50 different looks for the same wrestlers than actually add the many wrestlers that were in last year's game that are missing in this year's.

That's one of the worst parts of these games. They waste roster spaces on either guys who aren't even there anymore or just copies of the same guy with the same stats. You can't even customize them like in the old games.

I still play RAWvSD 2003.

I still go back to HCTP and the first Raw vs SD games from time to time. Less of a simulation/sports game kind of feel but much more of just a fun fighting game feel, which is how WWE games should be, at least in my opinion.

HCTP is the last great wrestling game. WCW/NWO Revenge and No Mercy are the gold standards. I miss the customization of everything. It's a damn shame we never got an ECW game with those game engines.

Besides the customization factor it's the first game I can really remember having lots of awesome match types and where you could start brawling from the ring to backstage (the only way now you can fight backstage is if you do a backstage brawl which is lame). Really WCW/NWO Revenge should be considered end all be all of wrestling games though cause it's the first that really improved on that whole engine and made a great wrestling game. Not to mention it's ridiculous how they were able to get that many wrestlers in a game on the N64.

My favorite is and probably always will be HCTP. Best gameplay out of all the wrestling games I've played and the backstage brawling was great. You could do crazy stuff like a shooting star press out of a helicopter and run people over with motorcycles. Just over the top fun.

HCTP I would rank just behind No Mercy. The backstage areas were ridiculous. You could go from the ring to the f*cking boiler room to outside the arena from what I remember. I also remember in one of the SD games you could brawl in WWF New York.

Well. I don't watch NXT weekly, but here's my predictions.

 

I could see the main event going either way, Triple H might go ahead and pull the trigger on a Steen title reign this early, since I know he's a pretty big fan of his, (Don't worry though, Vince will screw him up.) Kenta will surely go over on Breeze, Murphy and Blake will win and subsequently go on to feud with Enzo and Big Cass. Devitt's going to go over on Neville since I think Neville's due to get called up and I see Charlotte retaining her title.
