^ Only watched briefly just for the reactions but the Reigns boos were a lot milder than I expected. Oh well, no worries because crowds from now will eat him alive regularly and he's guaranteed to never get a cheer from cities like Chicago and New Jersey and most definitely not Philly. Even Cena lasted longer.

Probably because the US title came from WCW. To get the triple crown, you have to win titles originating from the WWE.

 

But the World Heavyweight Championship has counted. They may not acknowledge that anymore because they try to avoid mentioning Benoit at all costs, but "officially", they acknowledged it in the past. I specifically remember a match with Rated RKO and DX where JR said all four men have been triple crowns and Orton's only World Title win was the gold belt in 2004 at the time. The US Title, on the other hand, has never been an option for triple crowns and this is one accomplishment that eludes John Cena and now he's too big to become IC Champ and get that out of the checklist. Counting the US Title would've made sense during the brand split era when everybody had only one option.

I keep forgetting Smackdown is on Thursdays now -_- haven't watched one since the Summer but the fact that we were RAWless this week made me crave to see how the crowd there would react to Reigns.. gonna have to find it on YouTube later today.

Tuned into Smackdown during a commercial, once I saw Reigns vs Big Show was going on, instantly turned it off. Seriously, the dude's still green in the ring and of all the people you could put him with to help him progress as a worker, you go with Big Show a million times? They really ain't helping this dude's chances of success with this booking.

I'd wish they would of gone a different direction with the Rumble winner but Reigns just isnt ready, but at the same time the WWE just shouldn't give up on him. He's still fairly young (29 according to wiki) so he has time to get better on the mic and in the ring. They just made the mistake of giving him this now when a large portion of the fans can see other guys that are more well rounded for the chance that Reigns currently has.

Everyone would think that he would win, but he doesn't by screw job preserving him but also getting him out of the picture. Although in all seriousness, early rumour has it that it's going to be about The Authority and Vince McMahon#s relationship considering it was Vince that made the stipulation for Survivor Series.

 

EDIT: Another rumour I forgot to mention doing the rounds is that we may well get another Royal Rumble match on Raw this Monday

The WM main event is doomed. Unfortunately, they made their choice and have to stick with it. The storyline of last year's with Bryan being screwed is not there so it makes no sense to add him as he was eliminated completely clean and Reigns won fair and square. Any way around it will just devalue the Rumble match. Only thing solving it would be a time machine where they go back and redo the match. Or erase the Rumble and pretend it didn't happen and have the match take place again, but it makes no sense because the RR is in the history books and a done deal.

Doesn't even have to be Daniel Bryan since they're hinting him having a match with Ziggler... there are others that can easily take his spot like Orton or Cesaro, of course I doubt they'll suddenly add another person to the main event of Mania out of the blue like last year which makes it clear that they're sticking with Reigns, but hell.. one can hope.

The most I see them doing is having Axel face Reigns.. which I'm sure Reigns will still win.

 

But the outcome of the Mania match should end with Rollins cashing it in, would definitely save the company a bit since Rollins is finally getting more into his character compared to a few months back.. they can't let his opportunity slip by any longer he pulled a hell of a match against Cena and Lesnar.

Besides, if they redid the Rumble, they would just have to give it to Bryan because that's the first reason they'd restart it in the first place. Way more people would be on-board for Orton in Reigns' spot, but everyone still wants Bryan first and foremost.
