Cena becoming champion is the last of most people's concerns I'd say, including mine. Cena has gotten used to this kind of heat and fans have learned to just live with him in his position. Ain't no riots gonna happen with him or even realistic threats. That stopped being a thing in 2006.

 

But Reigns on the other hand.... hahahahaha. I'm not even mad, I'm laughing at what they did last night. And Philly fans starting sh*t outside the arena? Hysterical.

I imagine they'll show portions of their DVDs that they want to sell (with tons of ads for the WWE Network). Kind of like how they showed most of the Benoit DVD after his murder/suicide.

They'll be broadcasting a special in Stamford but there won't be an actual Raw show from what it sounds like.

Possibly a little worse, worse for WWE's sake because they really want Reigns as the next top guy for years to come, while with Batista he was just back till Mania and a few weeks afterwards. With the reports that Vince is going to refuse to put Bryan in the title picture or change it at all, the backlash to this main event is going to hurt them and it's going to hurt badly.

WORSE. At least Batista didn't get booed until entrance #30 took place and it wasn't Bryan. It also did not threaten their business and stock so badly as they still had something to celebrate afterwards with Bryan having the storyline to belong in the main event as well as the launch of the Network bringing excitement. This year, they shot themselves in the foot the way they booked it and Reigns was destroyed by the crowd in unison like never before. It was almost Cena ONS 2006 levels of bad. The BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO when The Shield's his music hit was amazing.

Ah. Good point, I still am hearing though that people were blocking exits from the arena and not allowing the talent (And Roman Reigns) to leave, so definitely not a good sign for the company when people are doing sh*t like that just to prove a point.

The backlash is definitely worse this year. I think possible because they are shoving Reigns down peoples throats and at least last year, we still had a hope of Bryan in the main event. This year we know they wont do it again so it makes it ten times worse

If they didn't remove the anti-Cena chants yet remove the anti-Reigns ones they are officially protecting him more than Cena.
