Also, one thing I don't like about the 'new' sets for the shows is that they use the same one for all 3 shows. All they do is change the color. I used to like the old sets because they had their own look and feel, these just, well don't feel right.

Looks like Smack Down is leaving CW.

After a successful decade of "SmackDown" on both UPN and The CW, World Wrestling Entertainment and The CW have agreed to conclude our partnership. Since The CW's exclusive negotiation period ran out as of last Thursday, January 31, we have been contacted and have been in negotiations with other networks. "WWE SmackDown" will continue to air on The CW until the conclusion of the 2007-08 broadcast season. We are grateful to Les Moonves, Dawn Ostroff, and their entire organization for bringing "WWE SmackDown" to millions of viewers for so many years.

That's a good call, but man would that be boring. Triple H has been on top of the WWE for nearly a decade now, and I think it's time someone new (note: not Cena) got a push.

 

Personally, I'd like to see either Jeff Hardy or Chris Jericho win it. I think Jeff could go on to be a solid main eventer if he was put over the right way, and Y2J has been mishandled so badly it's egregious. His sudden shunt into the JBL feud was ridiculous.

 

And I think Randy is probably going to leave No Way Out with the title. It seems like just a setup match for Wrestlemania.

Well, since I don't have time to watch SD! Fridays, I record it. I was watching the recording of last Friday's SD!, and this whole Edge Heads vs. Wang & Shannon is starting to piss me off. For the straight two weeks the match has ended the almost exact way. Look:

 

1. Wang starts the match.

2. The Edge Heads keep him grounded, he has a couple of spurges.

3. He barely makes a tag to an excited Moore, who pulls of a series of high risk, flying moves.

4. The Edge Heads clothesline him and ground him. The other Edge Head takes Wang off the apron.

5. A desparate Moore trys to make the tag, but no one is there. He either misses the corkscrew moonsault or is distracted, and from behind one of the twins hits the modified Curtain Call, and 1 2 3.

 

Same f*cking thing.

 

Also is this whole Pulambo/McCool/Noble annoying anyone else? It's just a waste of air-time. I mean, seriously, a whole 10-15 minutes for that piece of crap? They might as well get their own drama TV show while they're at it.

That Pulambo/McCool/Noble thing is only annoying because they wasted time with it last month when I went to SmackDown. I mean, she came out twice in one f*cking night, and he backed her up into the same turnbuckle corner twice in the same night. f*cking ridiculous.

 

Although, I must add that Michelle was looking extremely hot that night. So that's about the only good part from that whole storyline.

What about that match going on between Edge and Rey? I can guess Edge will have his "buddies" come and interfere the match. Causing Rey to lose. Either that or disqualification. Or CM Punk comes out to help Rey.

What a great victory Jeff Hardy had tonight against HBK. It was a good match. Also the Y2J Vs. JBL match wasn't half bad either. Got pretty brutal and physical. And that new guy Paul, I really see a great future ahead of him. He seems like that kind of guy that just likes to go violent. But I don't like the fact that they made that women as his sister, kind of creepy the way she was all over him.

 

Hopefully Maria goes for playboy! But I like the fact that Santino and Maria are together, it's kind of funny seeing him yell and talk to her. I think it's just his bad English. Haha.

I already know what the No Mercy plans are as well as some of the WM24 plans, but here's what I would like to see:

 

@ No Way Out:

- Triple H/Umaga wins RAW elimination chamber

- Undertaker wins SD! elimination chamber

- Rey wins World Heavyweight title

- Randy Orton retains WWE title

- Chavo retains ECW Title

- Kennedy wins; Flair retires (obviously not going to happen)

 

@ Wrestlemania 24:

- *Main Event* WWE Title: Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Cena (keeps it interesting) perhaps also vs. Umaga/Kennedy and Hardy? -Hell in a Cell Match, pretty plz? -

Result: HHH Wins

 

- World Heavyweight Title: Edge vs. Mysterio vs. The Undertaker perhaps also vs. Khali

Result: As long as it's NOT Khali (i don't mind any of them, Undertaker might retire, if not, he'll probably win)

 

- Vince McMahon vs. Finlay -Winner receives the rights to Hornswoggle or something along those lines-

Result: Finlay (this storyline is really getting old)

 

- US Title: MVP vs. Matt Hardy

Result: I guess, MVP (IMO, Matt isn't ready for a title yet)

 

- Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair -Career Threatening Match- (should be a classic)

Result: HBK (Ric Flair gets inducted into the HOF and retires)

 

- ECW title match or some sort of tag team title match.. don't care.

Result: whatever...

 

- Women's Title: Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle (vs. Maria/Ashley?)

There are a few quite interesting matchups there, T-Cipp, although most of them probably wont happen and others i disagree (as quite a few people would) with but they are nonetheless interesting.

I want MH to win US championship and also Mysterio to win the Heavyweight.

 

Btw, does anyone know who the Cruiserweight champion is atm, i havnt heard about that in quite a while.

What happen to Big Show? I thought the guy was going to be returning soon. According to what sources said, he should of already made a returned in one of the past Raws.

 

But anyways speaking of Big Show. Here is an update of him.

 

 

Big Show's WWE Return Update, TNA/FCW, More

 

- Both The Big Show and Jim Neidhart were at last night's Florida Championship Wrestling show at the Bourbon Street Night Club in New Port Richey, Florida. Big Show has been down in FCW for the past several weeks preparing for his WWE return. It is likely he will return to WWE sometime after Sunday's No Way Out pay-per-view.

 

- Speaking of Florida Championship Wrestling, fans that were in attendance at the TNA iMPACT tapings this week in Orlando that were wearing FCW shirts and could be seen on camera were asked to accept TNA shirts to wear over them.

 

- The SmackDown/ECW live event at the Coliseo Ruminahui in Quito, Ecuador was said to be extremely successful drawing an estimated crowd of 12,000. SmackDown and ECW will run shows in Chile today and tomorrow before heading back to the United States for No Way Out.
