Possible *Spoilers* For Tonight's WWE Royal Rumble PPV

Source - WrestlingObserver

Here are some possible spoilers for tonight's WWE Royal Rumble that will be broadcast live on pay-per-view at 8:00 p.m. EST  from Madison Square Garden in New York City, NY:

- The two favorites to win tonight's 30-man Royal Rumble match are Undertaker and Triple H.

- The Big Show is not planned to be in the Rumble but will be debuting imminently.

- It is likely Jeff Hardy could come out of tonight’s pay-per-view as the new WWE champion. Originally, there was no chance of him winning, but right now there is a lot of people on his bandwagon therefore it is possible that we could see a big title change tonight.

- It is likely Edge will retain the World Heavyweight Championship tonight.

- Mike Adamle will be debuting tonight with WWE as a backstage announcer.

- Jimmy Snuka is backstage tonight.

Jeff Hardy Revealed That His Body Is In Bad Shape

- Jeff Hardy was interviewed this week by Charleston's The Post and Carrier newspaper. Hardy revealed that his body was in very bad shape. Below is what Hardy had to say:

"My ankles are really weak. A lot of that stems from motocross in the past. I've got a (bone) chip in my right kneecap now, pain in my elbows and two herniated discs in my neck and my back. I'm not feeling great, but I've been extremely lucky that I've gone this far without surgery. So I'll just keep knocking on metal or wood."

Hardy has had many extreme matches in his career so this shouldn't come to us as a surprise that his body is badly banged up.

Wow, i knew that Jeff gets really banged up but that sounds rather bad.

@KillerKabel Im pretty sure that it would've just been a blood capsule, otherwise im sure they'd ban that move

Rumble's been pretty good so far. Especially seeing Vickie Guerrero getting kicked in the back of the head by Rey Mysterio.

@Mintalicious: Should be over at around 11 PM (EST).

Michael Buffer is there, and he just opened the Rumble match with "Let's get ready to rumble!". And the first man out is the Undertaker.

Edit: Shawn Michaels is No. 2!

30th entry in the Rumble was......

John Cena!

I know. He better not win, or WrestleMania is f*cked.

Edit: Too late. f*ck.

I'm f*cking pissed. I was looking forward to this WrestleMania too because he wasn't supposed to be a part of it. Didn't they say that he wasn't scheduled to return until April?

They said he'd be out for over a year.

But of course he wasn't really injured in the first place, he just needed time to make a movie.

Since of course, and sadly WWE is fake.

Last time I checked, 7 months don't equal a year.

Let me guess. John Cena won? f*ck. mad.gif

I'm not sure where you get your info from because I don't recall him being out for 7 months. A decent link would be appreciated.

And not that I like Cena nor ever did, but I find his return a good thing. He was always a main-eventer, and I'm interested to see how things will go when we have major stars such as HHH,HBK,Orton,Y2J, and JBL in the same show.

I'm definitely going to watch Raw.

And JBL really needs to give it up.

Oh my fuc*ing god, John Cena won? What a fuc*ing ballsack. And im assuming from what Shake said, Jeff lost to Orton. Damn, what a crappy Rumble. Can someone tell me what happened in the Mysterio match. I know it is most likely that he lost but he is my favourite so i always hope.

Well what a suprise, no suprises at all.

Cena winning was ok with me, I like him.

The rest of the results were sh*te, there is no point in paying for this sh*t when the results are known before the match, they never twist anything anymore. Wankers.

I used to like Cena a lot when he first debuted. He had this "gangsta" style.

I got to admit it was pretty gay, but much better than how he is now.

We'll see how things go though.

Well, The "true" Champ is....BACK! I love it. WWE.com says he is kicking off Raw tonight. Finally we can get rid of that boring f*cking Orton. I was hoping Cena would turn heel, but oh well.

They said he would be out for 7 months at the most, not a whole year. That's what my comment meant.

In all honesty, I'm glad we're getting rid of Orton as champ. At first I was happy because someone took the title from Cena after a long ass reign. I thought Orton was going to be a great champ, but he's just to f*cking boring. yawn.gif

I didn't order the Royal Rumble, but I did get the results and some the vid of his return and victory at the Rumble. I have to say that I wasn't surprised seeing him return. I mean, they always have a big name person, who has been out for a while, come in at #30 of the RR. This is the 1st time I have watched wrestling in good 3 months.

Only thing I was saying to myself was "Man. He's got to be a superb person within the company to get a title shot the minute he returns." I like Cena a lot, and he does make a great champion IMO. Seeing some of the crowd cheer him on and some of them boo him is what's great about it, so he's a bit of a heel and face when you think about this aspect. Saw a bit of RAW last night, up until the DX match, was pretty good, especially hearing the announcement of the Elimination Chamber. Anyone else see how Regal botched and played it off like he was excited? LMAO.

But this fued between Orton and Cena should be a great one indeed.

What the hell is going on man...

They're messing up Jericho. He's suppose to be fighting for the WWE Championship, yet they make him team up with Jeff Hardy. And worst of all they lose...

By the way the Orton-Cena feud is going to get boring real fast. As of matter of fact, it's already getting boring.

Hopefully The Big Show has something to say about this.

I think this has the potential of being the biggest Elimination Chamber yet. Yeah, he messed up, but made the excuse that he was too excited. tounge.gif

You've got to be kidding me.. the only way cena wins is by doing well.. NOTHING! This time he enters the rumble as #30 and wins! I f*cking hate him! I thought I wouldn't have to see him until after WMXXIV. this is bullsh*t! mad.gif

In other news:

Smackdown! Results:

SmackDown opens with two huge announcements. First Theodore Long announces that World Heavyweight Champion Edge will defend his title against Rey Mysterio at No Way Out. He then announces a SmackDown Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out for a title shot at WrestleMania XXIV. The competitors are revealed as Batista, Undertaker, MVP, Finlay, The Great Khali, and Big Daddy V.

Ric Flair defeats MVP via DQ in a Career Threatening Match

Flair locks in the Figure Four leg lock on MVP but MVP rolls it over. MVP, not realizing Flair is under the ropes, refuses to break the hold and the referee throws out the match.

After the match MVP works over Flair's knee and pins it between the ring and the stairs. Flair screams in agony as several referees escort MVP to the back. Flair is assisted to the back.

Chuck Palumbo comes out and apologizes for hurting Michelle McCool on last week's SmackDown. Palumbo blames it on Jamie Noble. Michelle comes out and slaps Palumbo.

Rey Mysterio & CM Punk defeat Edge & Chavo Guerrero

Rey Mysterio connects with 619 on Chavo Guerrero, CM Punk hits Go TO Sleep on him as well leaving Punk and Mysterio victorious.

Finlay & Hornswoggle defeat Deuce & Domino

Hornswoggle connects from off of the top rope to score the pinfall.

Eve Torres introduces Batista. She asks him about the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out. He tells her that he plans on winning the match and he will be going to WrestleMania XXIV to get a title shot.

Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins defeat Shannon Moore & Jimmy Wang Yang. The match was a snooze and the crowd was dead throughout.

Kane & The Undertaker defeat Big Daddy V & Mark Henry

Kane & Undertaker give Big Daddy V a double chokeslam. Undertaker chokeslams Mark Henry and locks him in a submission hold. Taker and Kane get the win via submission.

After Undertaker and Kane go to the back Batista comes out and takes out Big Daddy V and Jamie Noble (who came out with Mark Henry and Big Daddy V).

ECW Results:

Kane defeats Shelton Benjamin via count out

Shelton walks to the top of the ramp, falls down, and is counted out. Kane gets the victory.

Victoria defeats Kelly Kelly

Leyla and Lena come to ringside and sit during the match. Victoria wins after hitting Widow's peak. The three get in the ring and celebrate afterwards.

Tazz is in the ring with Colin Delaney who is almost completely wrapped in bandages and medical tape. We are shown footage of his beat down from The Great Khali last week. Tonight Colin must face WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison.

John Morrsion & The Miz defeat Colin Delaney

After the squash match, Morrison and The Miz proceed to beat up on Colin. Tommy Dreamer comes out and makes the save.

CM Punk defeats Elijah Burke

Punk gets the biggest pop of the night. He wins the match with Go To Sleep.

A preview is shown for ECW Champion CM Punk's Fiesta Celebration later tonight.

Kofi Kingston defeats Rob Eckos

Kingston hits a spinning heel kick to the head for the victory.

ECW General Manager Armando Estrada comes out with a mariachiband. They show a recorded message from World Heavyweight Champion Edge. He is unable to be at the show tonight because he is at the bed side of Vickie Guerrero after the injuries that she sustained from absorbing the 619 from Rey Mysterio at this past Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Edge says he has a special gift for Chavo in which they role a commemorative video package.

CM Punk is disguised as the band's leader. He takes his violin and hits Chavo Guerrero over the head and celebrates with the title as the show goes off the air.

- WWE signed Jim Ross to a new two-year contract to be the lead announcer on RAW. Ross has been working without a contract since November but there was no movement in the direction of replacing him. His new contract is considered a major deal because the mentality about good looking young people is only going to get worse on High Definition television. Ross even joked about this in a blog on his official website where he said not to expect as many camera shots of him and Lawler.

- Ron Killings has now officially signed a WWE contract and is currently finishing up all his medical testing.

- Low Ki, who has competed in TNA as Senshi, has signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He will start as a regular on the 2/2 show in Sanjyo, and will be apart of the Rise group with Prince Devitt, Minoru, Milano, Goto, and Nakamura.

- According to a reader report posted on the PWInsider.com pro wrestling website, WWE is now charging sports bars and clubs by the square foot to show their pay-per-view events. One bar owner in the Houston, Texas area said that to show a WWE pay-per-view it would cost in excess of $5,000. As a result, many sports bars no longer carry WWE pay-per-view events. In comparison, UFC charges sports bars less than $1,000 to show an event and as a result, they are carried in almost every major sports bar.

- WWE has announced that they will be releasing a DVD titled "The Greatest Superstars of Wrestlemania" on Match 25th. The DVD will be released exclusively to a retailer, most likely Wal-Mart or FYE.

2008 was looking so promising. Then Cena comes back and voila, it's crap again. I'd take Orton as Champ over Cena any day. I gladly would've taken either Snuka or Piper to win the whole thing. And Snuka still hasn't gotten revenge over the Coconut Incident. It also would've been cool had he tossed Taker out, since Taker began his Wrestlemania streak against Superfly at WM7. But I digress.

You think that's bad? Smackdown has an Elimination Chamber at No Way Out too. But their participants:

Big Daddy V

Great Khali

Finlay

MVP

Undertaker

Batista

What? Orton is the one who took out Cena. Kennedy took out Lashley.

The Elimination chamber is sounding so fu*king gay. I have no idea why they put Finlay in these good matchups. He always ruins everything with his fu*king shilahlee (which he can actually use in the chamber) and by cheating. I understand why they put Khali and Big V in there, thnking everyone will like the big guys in there but i really wish that they had swapped Finlay with Kane. Try and get the brother vs brother feud going. Some people may not like that or think it is boring but i rather enjoy watching them two.
