For me, Randy Orton is the only saving grace the show has nowadays. Rollins is good too, but he's been helped by the feuds they've placed him in. I don't think Randy's had that fire in him from the past few weeks ever since 2006. Sucks that he will be gone for the rest of the year to film The Condemned 2.

 

Gets on my nerves that the month I can get the Network for free is the month they offer a PPV that they will put zero effort to and one where neither of my favorite guys appear in. At least from the looks of it.

Cena vs Ryback on RAW, ????, Who the f*ck made that decision, f*ck

 

They're doing it to troll BruceBlitz. He made fun of the way WWE had Cena face Ryback several times last year, so they're gonna do it again at least once before the year's over. Also hasn't he been beating heels? So why is he facing Cena? I guess that's WWE logic for you.

 

It's old booking "trick" they've used for years, Cena is strongly rumoured to be facing Rusev and getting into a long term feud with him as a result WWE will be booking Cena to face someone of a similar build so they can do that comparison. The stupidity comes in that the recently returned Ryback has been as a face, aside from the "well isn't Cena the heel in this anyway" joke, I'd expect the booking of it will be that Triple H will just pair Cena off against Ryback cause reasons or because they happen to be both backstage at the time and Ryback would be the first person Triple H sees, and the match to be a schmoz finish and for that interference to come from Rusev, because he'll reference early in the night the plea from Ho Kogan to Cena to 'rescue' the US title.

 

The match at Survivor Series is apparently not a feud as such between Cena and The Authority, but is being used as the catalyst to start the feud between Triple H and Vince McMahon which may well go on until Wrestlemania 31.

Well, it kind of gave me some insight into why Ryback is being fed to Cena so soon. Maybe tbere's a swerve in there. Like Cena is auditioning him or something. I like Ryback, his Twitter is comedy gold. I hope idiot smarks don't chant "Goldberg" at him, again.

 

But on another note, seriously, I wish Cena and Hogan would just bugger off.

It's being taped in the UK, so WWE could just edit the chants out if they so choose. They really need to stop having him do the entrance that is strikingly similar to Goldberg's though, that's just asking for people to chant it at him. I could see this playing out where Ryback has a good showing before the match ending in a non-finish of sorts, which would lead to Cena enlisting his help at Survivor Series. Ryback's Twitter is great, WWE needs to let him utilize that charisma and sense of humor on TV.

Maybe if Lesnar didn't get booked to look like he was going to be defeated by Cena, he might be seen as more of a monster to beat, but they've ruined the whole "unbeatable monster" angle they had with Lesnar coming out of Summerslam, so now for Roman, beating the Super Cena clean would be more of an accomplishment. If WWE was also more willing to shell out some money for extra Lesnar appearances, they might be able to build him up even stronger. Unfortunately for WWE, they're not in a position to be spending money left and right and because of this, we'll likely only see Lesnar wrestle at Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, unless they're keeping news of a return out of the dirtsheets (Which they're still capable of like they did with The Rock on Raw a few weeks ago and Jericho at RR 2013.) and are scheduling an unexpected return sooner rather than later.

 

The positive with Reigns vs Cena is that we all know Reigns would definitely get the babyface reaction facing Cena, this would help lower the risk on the crowd potentially turning on him during his big moment, even if some people are finding Reigns to be boring nowadays, he'll still be more well received than Cena. The negative of course being that the match wouldn't be anything to sneeze at in the ring, they'd definitely need to have the right booking and the right story if they want to put on anything that's entertaining. Reigns could pull out a few moves he doesn't regularly do (I'd like to see him incorporate a belly to belly suplex and a powerbomb in his arsenal, he certainly has the strength to pull off those moves.) but I doubt he's going to shock the world and Cena's never been the type of wrestler who can carry a match. I'm personally going to be somewhat interested in seeing how WWE will go about a Cena-Reigns feud, Reigns obviously isn't going heel and he's going to be crowned the new face of the WWE. So seeing how the company decides to book this one is raising my intrigue for the feud a little. I don't expect a Cena heel turn, but they're going to need to do something other than have him make goofy jokes and not be serious if they're going to make this a "crowning of a new era" type of storyline to elevate Roman.

Being the one to defeat the one in 21-1 is still bigger than beating Super Cena. Doesn't matter what happened at Night of Champions, Brock is still undefeated officially even if they sold the NOC match as if Brock was going to lose. My problem is that Reigns doesn't deserve to be the one. Not only is he not ready, but he will most likely get the Batista treatment when/if he wins the Rumble.

It sucks that Bryan is injured because he would be perfect for that spot. With what we have, I think Orton would be a good candidate to win the Rumble and defeat Lesnar at WM for the title. Then Rollins cashes in on him and they have a good story going from there on.

Reigns will win the Rumble, and take the strap off Lesnar at Wrestlemania, on that subject whilst Reigns is off he is taking acting lessons at the moment.

 

Of course this means the WWE Title is held by part timer and will hardly be seen on screen, a booking dead end that WWE created of their own accord, made even worse by the fact they got rid of The Big Gold One which at this time would have been ideal to push into the spotlight since the Intercontinental Title is Micky Mouse these days thanks to the years of shoddy booking.

WWE could use this as an opportunity to elevate that IC title though. This is the perfect time to do so and they have the right champion in Ziggler who the fans like and can put on very good wrestling matches.

 

Reigns taking acting lessons makes me gain some respect for the guy. He sees the problem with his bad acting and he's actually addressing it and trying to improve upon it . I doubt he'll be Steve Austin or The Rock by the time he gets back, but he's trying to better the issue and that's always a positive. Honestly they should have Ziggler be the sole survivor on Team Cena at Survivor Series, that way fans and audience would be WAY more hot to see Ziggler finish off the Authority instead of Cena. WWE won't do that.

That's what I've been hoping for. It would be nice if Cena's team stays a member short right up until the actual night. Then once Team Authority and Team Cena have made their entrances, Orton's music hits, having not being seen since last weeks Raw, and fills the last spot against the Authority.

I hope they're keeping Orton away as a surprise for the show. He's not advertised for anything over the next two months but it would be nice if he showed up as Team Cena's last member and became the sole survivor for the 4th time in his career. I just hope we get to see Orton vs Lesnar at some point. It should've taken place with Orton beating Cena at Hell in a Cell but Vince's boner for Cena just never goes away.

It will never happen as much as my friend at work thinks it will but it would be awesome if there was a double turn with Orton going face and Cena finally going heel. I think the best part of Cena being heel is that there would be no more super Cena and guys wouldn't get buried as much. He'll still suck at everything else but at least we'd have that.

Orton as a face is a horrible idea. Hes a natural heel inside and outside the ring and hos face run was very stale. As far as Cena goes, i give up as the guys NEVER gonna turn heel as much as we all want. It's really VKM doing the burying, Cena is just the whipping boy brown noser.

Great point. They need to cut it out with the black and white "Good guy Babyface" or "Evil pussy Heel" stuff. Ambrose is the only one they kinda let be more of a tweener, but they need to let him go a little more "Brian Pillman" with his crazy antics and do some stuff that makes him out to be a true loose cannon.
