@ Shenmue could not agree anymore with the above. The man is just too damn stubborn to adapt with the times. Those days of having nothing but beefed up 260lbs and larger wrestlers are OVER. People want to see guys that they can relate to, are real, & just guys with the total package(looks, charisma, mic skills & in ring ability) and most of these big guys that Vince tries to push lacks more then one of these. Cena point blank is the Safe Way of doing business and if he aint willing to take risks, then VKM company will get worse with the years. As much of some folks out there hate HHH with a passion, he has better business sense & a general first person perspective of how the business works & wants to see new talent rise whereas VKM is foolishly overlooking wveryone for one guy. It's like having an old veteran on a major sports franchise & not properly building a dynasty with young guys who you can profit off of in the years to come & just puting all of your money and stakes on him which isn't wise at all. All i gotta say is the day Vince retires will we FINALLY start seeing this stagnant company succeed again.

Just watched the end of Impact. I won't spoil the ending for those who haven't seen it but to anyone who has does anyone think the finish was a bit weak?

EDIT: WWE 2K15 is dedicated to Connor "The Crusher", nice touch there WWE, doing some good there for a change, unlike the whole racism thing. For those who don't know who Connor is check the video below

I'm going hell for saying this but I'm tempted to get Cena Greatest Rivalries

Also on Smackdown it's Dean Ambrose vs Cesaro in a Trick or Street Fight

In Australia due to the exchange rate the network is $11.47

I don't think its the exchange rate, I believe its just taxes...at least for me. Its about 11 something

the Rock on online critics saying he use steroids

“Training is my anchor. Being on a regimented schedule, setting a goal, failing at a goal. It’s the philosophies of being an athlete that carry me today… Sure, you get a lot of people out there who will suspect, and say s–t,” he says. “They want to negate the hard work you put in.”

Remember when I said they should put in a John Cena mode in 2k15, well they did in the Who Got NXT mode, its called Proving Grounds, and you have to defeat John Cena, like defeat the streak but its only exclusive to last gen

Let's be honest, Cena's awful acting skills makes him a surefire bet to stay in WWE until his ability to wrestle, take bumps, etc is gone.

until his ability to wrestle, take bumps, etc is gone.

his ability to wrestle, take bumps, etc is gone.

his ability to wrestle.

wrestle.

He had that ability to begin with?

Got a question for you guys, I became a fan of WWE about 5 years ago or so (watched it before that too but not regularly) and I'm aware that the "Attitude Era" was full of amazing moments.. much more than now.

So I was wondering where can I start to learn more about it, as well as when it began and ended, also if I can be able to watch it on the WWE Network from the beginning of it to the end.

I would definitely say to just do your research on the history of not only the WWE but just alot of the past brands through reading alot on them. DVDs on ECW, WCW, WWF, & many others will educate you alot on the history and alot of wrestlers that you may or may not heard of.

Going the WWE Network is not entirely necessary but is one of the best ways out there. I vaguely remember the attitude era & consistently have been watching since 04 myself so theres alot that i missed out on & i learned ALOT by just reading & writing like crazy for a good decade.

Shame you missed out on the Attitude era. As even though I was fairly young at the time I too didn't quite grasp how good this time period was as I just thought wrestling was always going to be that good...but it isnt. Luckily though I watched alot of wrestling then including WCW as we got the TNT channel on tv here for a while.

As for when the Attitude era started and finished most people will have varying opinions. I'd say watch from the start of 1997 till the Wrestlemania of 2003 as you can see WWE evolving from fairly family friendly into the Attitude era and then slowly back. Now in early 2003 it wasn't as edgy and as good as say 1998,1999 etc but it was still a good show, alot better than the sh*t we get today, I'd even say up till about 2004 WWE was a cant miss product. The great thing about the Attitude era looking back was that it felt like a Wrestlemania event/crowd every week and when you compare it to today it's disappointing to see how far they have fallen.

The Attitude era ended as soon as John Cena's stupid face showed up and the WWF turned into the WWE. People now wanna sh*t on the Attitude era now and say there wasn't good wrestling and it was just Jerry Springer crap. That wasn't always the case but even then it was still entertaining as all hell. This was stuff meant for high school and college kids and I was 10 years old loving every bit of it. Nowadays I bet every 10 year old wrestling fan is a Cena fan.

I will agree with Hodgey on the Wrestlemania event/crowd feel every week. Everyone and their f*cking mother had sign up and some of them were pushing the envelope big time. Hell even the popcorn guy probably had a sign. The pops were huge, none of this crowd noise they filter in to make their half dead buildings feel more lively. I remember watching Mick Foley win the belt and that crowd going APEsh*t when Stone Cold's music hit and when the ref did the 3 count. Everything was exciting even if there were some lowpoints and not to mention they also called MOVES back then. Yeah they would give you some side notes about what's going on later in the night but you also got JR calling the moves which made watching the PPVs on scrambled cable easier to enjoy because even if you couldn't see 80% of what was going on you had JR calling the match. Great time to be a wrestling fan.

On a side note since November is free I figured I'd re-subscribe to the network this month and am catching up on the Monday Night Wars and I'm watching the episode about Mick Foley and they were talking about the "This is your life" segment and Vince was talking about how it "went on too long" and how it was "good but not THAT good". Well you heard it, ladies and gents. Vince thinks weekly Triple H and Stephanie promos and boring ass 15 minute Cena promos are more entertaining.

PS: If you knew where to find it and had the luck of finding out about them, ECW was also the f*cking sh*t. I had found out about them late and was only able to watch them when they briefly got on TNN for a bit before they closed the doors but that brief time stuck with me to this day.

They have all the AE PPVs and a lot of the Raws/Smackdowns, not every single one is up yet though. But you'd definitely get a lot of Attitude Era content on the WWE Network.

You could make an argument it ended the night of mania 19 cause that was the last Rock/Austin match.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll check out a few of the documentaries.

I'm actually hoping to try out the Network soon, the November deal is pretty tight.. sadly with like 5 games releasing on the same week this month, makes it hard to go for it just yet.

Invalid argument

Firstly I agree with Scarface.

Secondly it's 'you're'.

Firstly your a heel, so your argument is invalid

Secondly I'm right and anyone who thinks different is also wrong, Attitude ended WM 17, Ruthless Aggression started in 2002 which mean Rock/Austin 3 (technically 4) happened in the RUTHLESS AGGRESSION ERA

DEAL. WITH. IT.
