True, he's 37. He has so much left in the tank and he really hasn't gotten much of an opportunity in the past 9 years.

 

MG's rant was the best, one of the reasons why he is my favorite on the Blitz team panel.

Seriously though I dont get it.........

 

Are the high ups at the WWE really that far away from reality that they dont get it anymore. I understand they cant always gives us fans what we ask for there has to be a element of surprise and frustration at times but not 10 years worth of it. I know I'm going to say the same sh*t as we always say here but why not use Rhodes, Sandow, Barrett, Cesaro, Bray, Ziggler, Christian etc more in that WWE title slot and see what they can do. Granted not all are going to be hits but having the same routine of Cena then Orton then Cena then Del Rio then Bryan then back to Cena is just killing this company. Plus it's not even just the top spot that they are f*cking up, look at the mid to low carders half of them are hardly used on Raw and it's the same matches month after month until they change it to someone else for the next few months. For example remember a couple of months ago when the had Fandago, Summer Rae (I think it was her and not Layla) facing Santino and Emma every week for what felt like 6 months in a row. It was sh*t.

I could go on and on about what I would change but it doesn't matter as the people that could change things wont and were going to be stuck in this loop of sh*t for some time to come it seems.

I'm guessing with Orton you mean the gash on his head, as for Ambrose I thought the shoulder coming out was part of the match. Guess not.

As for Rusev I dont know about you guys but I kinda like him, it's working for me. I'm not saying he'll ever be a main eventer but could have a few good years challenging for the IC and US titles in my opinion.

It wasn't that way with Austin, they let heels who were getting over stay away from jobbing to main eventers like Austin or Rock back in the day, now if you're getting over as a heel, you'll be fed to Cena and buried within a few weeks or months.

Yep, he won the belt back last night. The product got a bit better on PPV from Mania 30 till around Payback 2014, now it's gone down to being as bad as it was around Wrestlemania 29.

Rusev is solid, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he's fed to Cena in the end. I honestly can't remember the last big heel to be built up and not fed to Cena. If people think putting someone over is letting them perform one move on them then they are deluded.

 

As for Rusev I hope that sh*t doesn't happen, but it more likely will. I dont get why they cant do things like they used to. Remember when Cena buried Umaga after months of us being lead to believe he was this monster of a guy and pretty much unbeatable only for Cena to bury him for good in a I Quit or Last Man Standing match (Can't remember which one) then that was Umaga's gimmick done for.

I dont see why they cant do like they did with Yokozuna vs Undertaker back in 1995/1996 casket match every once in a while. They had Yokozuna beat Undertaker (First time Taker lost a casket match) yet they didn't bury Taker like they would with any superstar Cena faces now. They had Yokozuna beat him by having the rest of the locker room help him. Not only does that keep Yokozuna as the champ and a heel but it kept Taker's rep intact as you could say he was never beaten fairly and that lost shouldn't really count. Therefore everyone's a winner. Not these day's, it's almost as if they dont put any thought into it anymore like they used to and it's ruining not only the product/company but anyone Cena faces.

Good to see John Cena finally get the recognition he deserves last night. His struggle for the championship has been there for us all to see and i'm glad that WWE are pushing him as the new and upcoming future of the company

I've never been a fan of finishes like that personally. If possible I prefer a main event or championship match to get a clean finish with a decided winner and loser, I get that can't always happen but oh my God, they've done the whole dusty finish when they had Cena take unfair loses that way pretty much every time they had him lose since 2005. Wyatt at Extreme Rules, Randy Orton at EC and Royal Rumble, Daniel Bryan at Summerslam, Ziggler at TLC, Punk at MITB and so on and so forth, they've done every Goddamn thing they can to have this f*ckface protected when he takes a loss. People compare him to Hogan but f*ck Hogan jobbed to Rock and Ultimate Warrior at Mania CLEAN. Shawn jobbed to Angle, Taker (twice) and Cena himself at Wrestlemania CLEAN. Cena's taken one clean loss at Mania in 2008 and that's it. Hell they couldn't have the f*cker take a loss without an excuse to THE F*CKING ROCK.

Dont get me wrong I understand that you cant have every match finish like the example I just gave, but when you big up someone (like they have done in the psat) only to lose at the hands of Cena the first time around then it's almost like the last 6 months or so of bulding this guy has been for nothing and a waste of their time and mine.

I fully understand why WWE has to have a face of the company but like you said all the legends that have come before Cena, The Rock, Hogan, Austin, Taker, Michaels, Angle etc have realised that at times they have to put people over clean and it cant always be about them as things need to change. Even Michaels f*cking did it when he was suppose to be the biggest prick in the locker room. Not Cena though.

 

 

Also let's not forget that the ladder match itself, f*cking sucked. Which I think people have forgot as we all got so pissed off with Cena

The Cenation morons that are getting excited about Cena potentially passing Ric Flair in championships are f*cking disgusting. I know that may sound a bit excessive but it's sh*tting on the history of pro wrestling. This guy is trash and yet they're manufacturing him to be like The Rock, Hogan and Stone Cold combined. It's disgraceful.

 

And Cena fans I bet if he lost to guys you thought had no talent all the time you'd be bitching "online" too. You don't complain because your f*ckboy kayfabe superhero wins all the goddamn time. There is no real long term plan for Cena to hold them for long WWE just need a pair of safe hands to bring in some extra cash and love him or hate him, he does bring in the Benjamins.

Because Goddamn you if you hate anything WWE does and Goddamn you if you don't want to watch another Cena reign, Cena winning has made me cancel my Network subscription and I know other people feel the same way and claim they are not tuning into Raw (Given a lot of them will unfortunately turn back into mindless sheep in a few hours and watch anyways, but I know there's a few who will stick to their word.)
