So, since you're a huge AJ fan, did it bother you that she jobbed in like, 20 seconds to Paige in Paige's debut match?

Yeah I am annoyed as I wanted it to be a Paige vs AJ feud that ended with Paige winning...this seems to be totally backwards. However, just think of it like this. all the Total Divas tried for months to get the title off AJ and failed every time, even in matches like at Mania where it was like 12 divas in the ring, they still couldn't beat her, and then Paige beats her in 20 seconds...so really, that makes all the other divas look like total sh*t lol. If anything AJ losing in 20 seconds buried the rest of the diva division.

If you're billy yes, as he's an Aussie, so they get tomorrow before the rest of us, but the paradox is they're still in the past.

 

Also as well as Devitt, Kenta is apparently not far behind him, so we could end up next year having Kenta, Devitt and Sami Callaghan (aka Solomon Crowe) on the main shows... some good pickups there WWE, just get rid of Kevin "bloody" Dunn and the future would be peachy.

@Gareth The problem with KENTA possibly going to WWE is that he apparently doesn't speak English, so they might have the same problem they did with Mistico where they wanted to push him as a way to draw in a hispanic audience, but they never pulled the trigger with him because he didn't speak the language. Now given, KENTA doesn't have injury problems and doesn't botch as he's had some amazing matches in NJPW and ROH with English speakers. Which I don't blame Mistico for botching as he wasn't able to communicate with his opponent very well, he had to wrestle in that dark lighting and with the mask that covers up his eyes (In Mexico, he wrestled with a mask like Mysterio's that had eye holes), and he was trying to work a WWE style Lucha instead of the actual Lucha style he's been trained in, so all of that didn't help him at all. But back to KENTA, they'd still be unable to talk to him without a translator and I could see that being a potential problem, obviously he couldn't do promos in English, talk to the other guys backstage in a casual conversation and he wouldn't be able to go over a match with his opponent.

Damn. WWE's stock today plummeted by 45% as it was trading 11.28$, way down from the 19.93$ that it closed at yesterday.

WWE have already put the feelers out to possibly re-hire Jason Albert/Tensai's old sidekick Sakamoto to possibly act as a translator to aid his transition into WWE

It more or less means that this company with a lot of stock in WWE wants them to change their management or sell the company. The article also notes how WWE's stock is incredibly low and how they stand to lose a sh*tload of money this financial year, even if they get the 1,000,000 subscribers to the WWE Network that they're aiming for. And that the investment officer of the company with stock in WWE believes that WWE misrepresented how successful the WWE Network is by labeling it a "Home run" when they're clearly in the red with how much the Network cost them and the profit they've made off of it.

Yeah. There has to be some reason why they haven't brought it overseas. It seems like such an obvious idea that you'd launch it worldwide instead of just in North America.

 

Also. I watched that Goldberg vs DDP match, it was really damn good.

They'll be fine in the long rum their stock went down because this here is an example of most investors

 

 

They follow the heard too much and end up running off cliffs, the long term investors will stick around because they know in the long run they'll get a better return when the Network goes global, when WWE films does a run of good profitable films and when the news sinks in that WWE has renewed their deal with NBCUniversal. It was widely reported several months ago that WWE would take a short term hit due to start up costs etc with the Network but would recoup those going into the next financial year and the following year should be running an increased profit over pre network times.

 

All those investors have done is read "1 million subscribers" and WWE report that they are on track for "1 million subscribers" but currently have 625,000 subscribers, and just blanked out everything that's been said except 625,000 subscribers... and panicked.

Well, that's the stock market. Everyone follows the herd and freak out whenever stocks start going down and just sell, sell, sell. As you said, hopefully it'll all work out in the long run and WWE will come out ahead.

My subscription to the site just ran up. But on Twitter he said Smackdown was way too Cena heavy with him opening the show with a promo and main eventing. I imagine he didn't like the goofy comedy either with Cena no selling Wyatt's character in his opening promo.

I could have told you that without watching it, his reviews are all "blah blah Cena Sucks blah blah blah Cena's a douche blah blah blah Cena sucks", it's soooo obvious he needs a face turn.

If he liked Cena. Wouldn't that be turning heel on the audience? He's trying to do a SummerSlam program this August with Cena, and we know WWE doesn't like pulling out Face vs Face matches that often anyways.

 

Anyways. he toned down the Cena hate on non Cena related shows recently it seems. But if WWE pushes him as the main draw on a show like they seemed to with Smackdown. He's not going to be very happy.

Also, Jericho's band has a new song, it's pretty sweet.
