Where did you meet him at, after a show? I usually watch smackdown somewhat. I try to catch the main event at least.

Yeah, it was after a house show. I know a guy who works at the arena, so he got me and my brother backstage at the end. Kurt Angle, Edge and Shelton Benjamin were back there. Kurt and Shelton wee just walking out though and Edge was taking off his boots.

I will tell you what. The TV does not do those guys justice. His arms were huge. He looks like one of the smaller guys on TV, and he is, but up close, he is jacked. I can't imagine seeing Triple H or John Cena up close. lol

Yeah, I know what you mean

I once met Rikishi in an autograph signing that I never knew about (I was only in Watford to get my Braces tightened when I was 14) and I qued up for an autograph, and he was f*cking HUGE, like one of the biggest guys I've ever seen.

I also met Sable after Capital Carnage in the UK when I was like 11, she looked really old, and was really weird looking upclose ph34r.gif

Sable, hmm. She was the hottest thing going back in the day. If I would have met her when I was 14, I would have passed out.

Yeah, I don't read into spoilers or anything, but I knew it would be Austin once Vince said there would be a special referee involved. Then when he said "I'm not going to end up looking like some bald headed freak!" Obviously it was a joke because Coach is bald and was standing right there, but I knew it went deeper than that.

Tried to explain that to my mom (average fan), as I marked out because I knew Austin would be coming, but she thinks I'm crazy. Never the less, I hope to see Austin tonight, and if not, hopefully next week.

korean tv sucks some nights, but they always have reruns of wwe on. the kids here love it. and i get to see the undertaker do his thing. some of my friends told me that he's going to retire, and once i heard that i knew he would win the royal rumble for his shot at the title. allow him to retire with the title, nice sign of respect and apprciation for all his years. so is it true that hes going to retire soon? and if so, any chance they'll have him retire with more than one belt?

About Edge and Orton, there will probably be some big blow-up between them at MITB. Right now, I can't see either one turning face. Orton's last face run was a disaster, and Edge's was as well. Both had to try way too hard for heat. Plus, Edge has that thing about messing with Matt Hardy's woman that many fans won't forgive (the announcers, though, don't even mention that anymore whenever they're in a match against each other).

More sad news. Bad News Brown passed away. He was a little before my time, as I was getting into wrestling just as he was leaving the company, but I've seen videos of him, and know his reputation as a great heel. RIP big guy.

TV does not do justice to how big guys like Big Show, Khali, Kane, Undertaker, etc. really are.

I've seen Big Show up close and holy sh*t, he is f*cking huge.

And I met Gregory Helms in the local CVS Pharmacy. I live in Smithfield, NC, which is where Helms is from.

When I was down on the floor level at a house show, I saw Heyman up close, and he is a lot taller than he looks on TV. That's probably because we're used to seeing him standing next to guys like Show, Angle, Lesnar, etc. Speaking of which, Lesnar did not look as big up close.

I never met a wrestler in person, though I did get to talk to Earthquake online a few times before he died.

I have never been to a live show. Just a couple house shows. I would love to go to a live show sometime though.

The guy I know that works where they had the house show, told me a funny story. One time he was working when they had a house show and they get to meat the wrestlers and all that. This guy is a wrestling fan, so it must be pretty cool. But anyway, he was backstage when some guy came walking toward him and grabbed one of those little white towels.

He didn't know much about wrestling. When my friend asked him what he was doing, he said that he was instructed to get a towel for The Big Show. SO then my friend tells the guy to hold on. He grabs like 3 or 4 more towels and holds them out to the guy. The guy laughed a little and was about to walk away. Then my friend was like no, I am serious you better take them.

So the guy took them and later they joked about it because the guy had no idea who the Big Show was or anything like that. He said it was the biggest guy he had ever seen. But, I can't imagine even shaking his hand, lol. I bet he could probably crush my head with his hand if he wanted to.

Was great to see Steve again and no doubt that is a kick ass shirt he has, might have to make a signature with those words in (or similar).

Been reading rumours concerning matches at Wrestlemania 23, more specifically the MITB match. Apparently Mr. Kennedy is favourite to win with him becoming WHC in the coming year, more interestingly is that he's to feud with Taker for it, which could mean Taker wins at mania.

Yeah, I pretty much pictured Taker going over Batista @ Mania even though there was heavy talk of Batista winning, but I never really thought much into it, and now it seems as though because Batista has much heat backstage on him, that Taker will be going over him. I hope Shawn goes over Cena, but I can't see that happening angry.gif

I've read some rumors too and it looks like Orton will get the last MITB spot.

Now with this in mind here are some rumors of what could happen.

1) Mr Kennedy wins and goes onto becoming the next WHC.

2) Orton wins, and later cashes in at Summerslam and becomes WWE Champion.

3) Edge wins and later that night after a Cena victory he cashes in and beats Cena like in New Year's Revolution 06.

4) Edge wins and later that night cashes in after a Undertaker victory. He beats Undertaker and remains the only undefeated wrestler at Wrestlemania.

All these would be great but numbers 3 and 4 would be so great.

Also the new Backlash poster:

How bad ass is this poster? Could this be a hint of what will happen at Wrestlemania 23.

Here's what is says about Backlash:

Over at indemand.com it gives a spoiler on who will be at the pay-per-view with these words "Rivalry and rage explode in controversy as ECW and Smackdown join RAW at Backlash. Catch the intensity as John Cena, Batista, Undertaker, RVD, and Lashley face the consequences of their actions from WrestleMania. Don’t miss WWE Backlash, Sunday, April 29th, live at 8pm ET/5pm PT, only on Pay-Per-View. A World Wrestling Entertainment Production.

I'd like to see #4 so much wow.gif Cos Taker v Batista should be the Main Event and should be a long, drawn out match. Edge should come out, Spear Taker then get the three. WHC, move over to SD! maybe, and fued with Taker.

That would be great. It's awesome that this years MITB is up in the air. You don't really know who will win. There are so many good superstars in this years MITB. Edge, Orton, Kennedy, and not to mention King Booker and CM Punk.

I don't like the sound of Taker losing at Wrestle Mania ever. I don't like number three because why pay for Wrestle Mania if the biggest thing of the night would be something we say a few months ago. I figured Randy would get the last MITB spot, and that is why him and Edge have been feuding.
I'd hate it if Taker ever lost at Wrestlemania but, it would be ok if he was putting over someone that will be great in the future, like Edge.

Yeah a Orton/Edge feud after Wrestlemania seems inevitable.

I would see Orton using it right after Taker's match. I don't think Edge needs to be put over at this point. And even if he does, he doesn't need it as much as Randy. Then Edge and Orton can feud for the title. They would then be on separate shows, but hopefully we get a draft this year. I love the draft.

Orton cashing it in after a match at WM would work because remember when Edge told Randy that he was going to do that, Orton had a look in his eye like he would plan on it. But Edge has had some 4 maybe even 5 star matches, I don't think he needs to be put over. IF your gonna end a 14 year streak, you need to make it count.

Yeah it would be great for Randy if that happened. It would help his legend killer gimmick as well as help his heel role.

I really don't think that both the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship will change hands so who do you think retains? I have a feeling that Cena will retain once again and have a 3-0 record in WM Main Events after WM 23. He's Mr WWE right now.

@ MMFF: When are you going to wrestling school?

What do you mean by the Future? tounge.gif Edge is one of the greats already. If you think about it, he's been in WWE for about eight to nine years I think. I remember he came in at the same time as Val Venis and Gangrel

Orton definatly needs another push sometime in the near future, before he starts being underused very badly. He's already jobbing frequently to Cena and stuff, so a Orton/Cena fued (Which would of been huge in 2005) is now not going to happen angry.gif

Vanilla Shake

Well, Monday night on Raw there's gonna be a Triple Threat match where the winner qualifies for the 8th spot in the MITB match. It'll be Ric Flair vs. Carlito vs. ....Randy Orton. Guess who's gonna win that one. dozingoff.gif

But when it comes to WM 23, I have a feeling that either Shawn Michaels or Undertaker are gonna lose. I want HBK to win, he's my all time favorite, and I want the Undertaker to win and become champion one more time before he retires. Either way, the whole Cena/Michaels "Got your back" storyline is gonna end on Monday, and I think Cena's gonna turn heel, because if they turn HBK heel it'll be too obvious.

They definatly won't turn Cena heel after they spent all that time turning him face again after everyone started booing him circa mid 2006. He gets all the 11 year olds to go nuts, just like Stone Cold did for my generation. Except nobody ever turned on Stone Cold biggrin.gif He was just too good, unlike Cena.
