The season mode and general manager mode from the previous games now have been merged to form the WWE 24/7 mode. Instead of the player fighting their way through the ranks of the WWE to win a world title at WrestleMania, the main quest is for the player to become a WWE legend and ultimately be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by completing a list of objectives. Depending on how established the player's wrestler is, the difficulty and amount of time it takes to become a Legend will vary.

 

 

There will be significant differences in the Nintendo DS version of the game. It will make use of the handheld's touch screen feature to control the wrestlers' in-ring action. The Nintendo DS version will also include wireless multiplayer action, as well as training minigames.[8] However, there will be limitations from the other versions in that this version will feature a roster of only 20 wrestlers and will retain the Season mode rather than the new WWE 24/7 mode.

 

 

The Wii version will take advantage of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk by using the motion sensing capabilities to pull off various attacks. For instance, punches and chops will be performed by slashing the Wii Remote in different directions, while performing a move such as a powerbomb will require the player to lift the opponent by pulling the Wii Remote up and then thrusting it down to slam the opponent.

 

I want me a wii or at least I want my friend to get it for the wii.

EDIT2: Holy sh*t, Hornswoggle, is the Cruiserweight Champ. WTF? Right now we have the worst champions in the WWE, expect for MVP and Candice.

Hornswoggle is actually over. The other cruiserweights, not so much. They're not bad wrestlers, but no one gives a crap about them, until now. Besides, we don't really know whether he'll be a bad champion or not. He's had like, 3 matches. A feud with Rey could be interesting (if they downgrade him to that division).

GAB Issue: I don't know what the WWE sees in Great Khali and Cena. They're really overrated. Umaga beating Jeff is no surprise either. I really thought Matt was gonna defeat MVP. I also think taking the title off of MVP now will be too early for him to loese it. I can see that Matt will win it soon someday. Hornswoggle with the title will be a little interesting to watch, but I think that either Wang or Noble deserved it more. Orton defeating Dusty was no surprise for me. Its just a lead-up to the Cody Rhodes/Orton feud. Candice has been improving lately and I can't imagine them taking the title away from her now. I see Beth Phoenix or Jilian being the next possible candidates to chase Candice for the title. They should of at least have some tag team matches on the card. A card ain't complete without a tag team match. Those are my thoughts.

 

Wii Issue: When I do get the Wii version. I'll play as Triple H to literally kick Cena's @$$, and I'll play as either Edge or Kane to literally kill Khali.

Beth/Melina/Victoria/Mickie only people that should be holding the belt.

As good as Hall is, she still needs more work.

Cena, he's just doing his job, and as of late his matches are getting more interesting. Okay, sure, he has the five moves of doom, but, so does Michaels.

 

H comes back Summerslam, which is very early for a man coming off that leg injury. Last time, wasn't he out for almost a year?

 

Yes, Kahli is horrible and it's bullsh*t Kane didn't win. f*ck Batista, he should turn heel, and become the Batista from evolution.

 

Also, I noticed something, all the big faces don't want to turn heel.

 

Punk wins at next ppv, but he should had won last night. He's put in more work overall and didn't need Tough Enough. Also they should push him to Main Event status and place him on Smackdown, no triple H bull sh*t.

 

Rey comes back, he restarts the feud with Chavo. I wish it was for the CW title, bring back some worth.

King Booker - Just after losing the WHC to batista, has a neck injury due to a Tombstone by Taker on the table. Never seen again until drafted to RAW.

 

Undertaker - Had an arm injury during his reign, in which Edge cashed in MITB to pick up the bones from Taker.

 

Edge - injury that forces him to reliquish the title just after 3 months in his reign.

 

Khali - Wll he be next? I f*cking hope so.

It became a joke. They tried making it more legitimate in the end (what with RVD holding it for a while), but they couldn't erase that 24/7 period where, while those times were entertaining, no one took the belt seriously.

 

And we don't really have the time for more titles. Look at the tag champs. they can't even get on PPV.

I always liked the European Championship. It was good for guys who normally wouldn't have titles to have a place in the company (e.g. Mideon, Al Snow), which is now true for the cruiserweights. And Snow's and D Lo Brown's gimmicks of dressing up as Europeans was funny.

 

I'm surprised anyone can remember the Light Heavyweight Championship. They defended it, like, twice a year.

Edit: I searched wikipedia and thats what happened, xpac had the lightheavyweight belt and beat billy kidman, this unified the belts to the wwf cruiserweight title, which is cooler anyways.

EDIT: The should had continued the Orton vs Cody feud. If they wanted to end it, they should had let Orton shove his foot across Cody's face. Put him out of action for a while, then he comes back and restarts the feud. "This isn't just for your belt, but, for the respect of my name and the Rhodes legacy." Some generic sh*t.
