Why in hell would Big Show turn heel at survivor series, it don't make sense

I would probably expect a

finish to the match which may well p*ss off The Shield if not at least Reigns which will trigger his face turn.

So, WWE's wasting a Survivor Series match on Divas from Total Divas? Don't get me wrong, I'm down with Natayla and AJ's in ring work but the rest all are between sub-par to absolute sh*t.

WWE seems to think it's audience has short memories. It was only 3-4 months ago Ryback was winning squash match after squash match and main eventing PPV's with Cena etc, where he basically won that last man standing match but it went as a no decision.

 

Why the f*ck do they build people up to wreck them? It's like they want to stay boring.

They try and build guys up like they play out a standard match

 

• They'll let them burst onto the scenes - much like a match will start
• They'll put them down a while - like when the heel will then get the better of the face,
• They'll go through a small come back - like when the face mounts come back aka the teaser
• They'll knock them down for a good while (possibly temp heel turn) - much like when they go through a bunch of mat holds aka the cool down
• They'll bring them back up to the big time (possible return to face) - when the face mounts a serious build up to build to a finish
• They'll give the them the title - when the face does their finishing move **
• OPTIONAL: They'll let them drop the title - when the heel kicks out
• OPTIONAL: They'll let them get the title back for good - when the face puts the heel down for good for the count.

The heels job should be to build up the face guy for the face guy to get the eventual pay off, however when they are trying to build up a heel they may do a counter to the finishing move either with a clean finish or one screw job, or in the long term example let them win the feud. ** However in the psychology of professional wrestling where the WWE have dropped the ball big time in the recent Orton v Bryan feud is that they used more than one screw job in the feud which does nothing for anyone involved except to decrease interest so when the heel does win the feud it's dusty and dirty and actually shows a semblance of disrespect to the face and the audience.

 

In the case of trying to build up Ryback, WWE did a similar thing in that they used too many screw jobs and made Ryback (then a face) look week and showed disrespect to Ryback and the audience. It's not uncommon for the face to not connect with the audience as the booking intended, but in order to drop the storyline they perpetually let the face loose when they should have written the face out by other methods, like an kayfabe injury or third party involvement which would have softened the blow to the face but would ultimately go unnoticed by the audience and would maintain interest.

To be fair to the 'e' they kinda had to take it away from him in case the other promotions wanted to get all hissy about taking a gimmick which was primarily used in their promotions, even though El Generico was his own gimmick not one owned by a specific promotion, the 'e' always like to tread carefully just in case.

 

Those damned wrestling pandas have made them tense ever since they stole the F off them.

I doubt it's that, if no company has the character trademarked and if Zayn is considered the creator of the character then they couldn't do sh*t in terms of a lawsuit vs WWE. They just like to think they can make a better character for these guys since we all know Vince thinks he's a wrestling genius. (Which to be fair, he USED to be, but as he's gotten older, he's lost his touch.)

The indies or other promotions don't have to threaten legal, just embargo talent from joining the 'e' in future, that would hurt more than a legal case, if they did that before then the following wouldn't be in the 'e'.

 

CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro, Del Rio, Ambrose, MacIntyre, Sheamus, Rowan and Harper, Regal and Ryder to name but a few of the current roster who started out in the Indies. And when three of the 'e's' big guns in Punk, Bryan and Del Rio are on that list, they couldn't afford to piss them off.

Good point, better to keep a healthy relationship with the indie promotions instead of making them hating your company. ROH obviously has no problem with the WWE as they seem to take pride when one of their guys goes to the WWE and let them use ROH footage in Punk's documentary. So keeping them happy should be a priority.

Well.. that's got to be the most boring Survivor Series I've ever laid my eyes on. Such a waste of my time quite frankly.

The only real positives I could take away from the PPV were 2 matches. The opening 5v5 bout and D-Bry/Punk vs Harper/Rowan.

If they unify the titles it makes no sense, they operate 2 tours, Smackdown and RAW, if 1 has no top belt it would just hit their sales further.

It's not original but they'll go for the standard Champion v Champion angle as way to boost the World Title, cause you know "Cena Wins LOL", unification makes zero sense to me either in a storyline or business sense, which in a way intertwine. The World title needs a boost and John Cena is the best on the books to do it, this is no offense to Del Rio, Ziggler, Big Show or Sheamus who held it most recently, but it's hardly been a shining beacon to strive for... still could be worse could be the US Title, Ambrose is good but what's the point of that title when no-one is really going for it, it's just sitting there gathering dust around his waist.

Sounds like WWE dropped the ball yet again with this Survivor Series PPV, I feel bad for anyone who actually wastes money or time on this sh*t. Of course Cena's going to bury Orton for the millionth time. I f*cking knew it, all these people who thought Cena was taking a back seat are dead WRONG, this bitch is going to undeservingly go back to the main event and John "The Bitch" Cena will be standing victorious again at the end of another PPV that all you blind WWE fanboys will blow your money on.

Survivor Series:

 

Opening elimination match was fantastic.

Wyatts vs CM Punk and D-Bry was great.

 

Everything else sucked. Glad I didn't pay for this and watched it online.

Well there we go, not a unification match, but a TLC for both titles.

 

They had to announce that straight away since the PPV is only 3 weeks away..lol

 

 

I won't even get excited, every PPV ends in total bullsh*t so I imagine a sh*t ending where they're both on the ladder and grab 1 title each etc. Some sh*t finish like that.
