With the head creative writer who was apparently against Cesaro gone we might see him start winning more matches now, Bray Wyatt is one of the guys rumored to be brought up soon, with him working house shows this is now even more apparent.

 

Also Wrestlemania 29's buyrate is down by about 200,000 from last year's.

Bray Wyatt is getting some main roster house show action, maybe they're going to push him quite soon, would be nice... would be even better if they keep his entrance theme.

I love all three of those guys(I was wearing my Punk shirt last night). But most of the IWC are idiots.

Punk, Jericho and Bryan are all great, but it seems the IWC hates anything that doesn't involve those 3 in WWE. Or they hate anyone that isn't a 5 star technician, and don't seem to realize that power based or high flying based wrestlers can be entertaining in the ring as much as technical based.

That being said they're not ALL like the ones we poke fun of, there is just a very high amount of them that seem to bash anything that isn't related to Daniel Bryan, CM Punk or Chris Jericho.

As for the IWC (The Internet Wrestling Community), they're basically a bunch of "Smarks", Smart Marks, those who think they know absolutely everything about wrestling, from the indies to the big leagues. However there are two types of Smark, these days the term Smark is applied to anyone who is a wrestling fan (not a member of the WWE Universe, different thing) and appreciate wrestling for all it's quirks. Whether it's random sh*t like Hornswoggle being Vince's son or full on hardcore blood thirsty feuds, so basically everyone in here could be classed as a Smark, as we love wrestling and appreciate it, we can speculate and use best guesses about backstage politics and the like, but we don't claim to be full on old school Smarks and know everything about the industry.

 

However the IWC Smarks are different breed they are what's called the old school Smarks who are those who claim to know everything about wrestling and how it's run, works, how they book, backstage politics, etc etc etc, when they really don't as unless you are in the wrestling business then you don't know much about it. To save confusion these folk are just referred to as the IWC crowd.

 

Members of the WWE Universe are people who do all the downloading the WWE app and voting on stuff, use tout, twitter and facebook and basically be corporate sponges and cheer John Cena cause he's face and boo Cesaro because he's a heel etc.

 

The best example of this recently was at THAT Raw after Wrestlemania, when that crowd who were just magical were referred to by Cole and King as the WWE Universe, and JBL rightly corrected them and said they weren't the WWE Universe they're Smarks, as they created Fandangoing, they cheered the roof off the building when Ziggler cashed in, all pretty much against the WWE Universe trend, as the crowd or Smarks appreciate something catchy like Fandango's theme or the fact the Ziggler is that damned good.

It can get confusing considering that those who use the terms as a negative are almost exclusively members of the IWC and smarks themselves.

It's being rumored that WWE is going to have CM Punk turn face when he returns and then get into a feud with Brock Lesnar. What does everyone here think about that? Should he be face or heel and should be feud with Brock Lesnar when he returns, or somebody else?

That'd be a good pre Summerslam match for Raw. I like "Curtis Axel's" heritage, 3rd generation superstars are almost always great, Lesnar and Punk could be a great match up, and if Trips is willing to put him over, an HHH vs Axel feud could be wonder for Joe Hennig's career.

Khali as a heel was better, still not a great in ring performer but his character was a lot better.

Oh hell yeah, as an NXT follower, I've been waiting on this for a while, and it looks like they're not going to change his angle which will be sweet, plus I holding onto hope they are keeping his entrance theme, which was the one used on the promo, it's very un-wrestling like, but that's what makes it awesome.

 

Anywho I've not done recaps of last weeks so here they are

 

Raw - Meh

NXT - Excellent

Main Event - Not Bad

Superstars - Superb

Smackdown - Meh

 

That's them in a nutshell, seriously Raw and Smackdown and really becoming dull these days, NXT is superb, Main Event is picking up and as for Superstars the past couple of weeks, bloody hell, some cracking matches.

 

Raw this week was average, match of note was Hell No v The Shield... how awesome was Daniel Bryan, I'm loving out of control D-Bry, fast, frenetic ready to f*ck sh*t up, please WWE somewhere in the near future put the strap on Sheamus and let D-Bry take him down in 17 seconds for it.

Sad thing is Drew is excellent, if you youtube some of his early indie stuff with Sheamus it was great, still the guy is still young yet so there is time for improvements and changes

I'm glad that I no longer waste my time on watching Raw or SmackDown, that being said I need to get around to watching NXT more often as it seems that NXT is the REAL best that WWE has to offer, which is sad in a way as NXT is their smallest show but good in another as the roster on NXT is WWE's future talents AND it's being completely controlled by Triple H, who will eventually completely take over the entire company, if this little glimpse of Triple H under control is good, imagine when he runs the whole company. A year ago I couldn't imagine myself ever saying this, but WWE's future with Triple H as president actually seems pretty bright.

Why has no one even referred to the fact that the crowd during the Cena/Axel match wasn't paying attention to the match but something in the crowd, never mind it was just some drunk dude getting carried away by security

 

Anyway three stages on Hell is a nice idea I like it and Punk coming back early not a good idea

 

Anyway RAW was better than last weeks pile of crap, you may have noticed that I haven't been posting any News/ Rumours lately, well I need Gareth to send me the code for the Rumour mill banner

There was apparently a fight in the crowd from what I read, Three stages of Hell would have been good, but Lumberjack as a stipulation? Really?

 

Anyways, I've been checking out more of Bray Wyatt's promos and I have to say this dude looks phenomenal on the mic, really great stuff, from his accent (Which he actually doesn't have in real life) to his speech pattern to his in ring skills to his mannerisms in the ring, this dude is awesome.

Glad to see Sin Cara not getting a title shot, not a big fan of him and his constant botching, Ziggler coming back is good as well as Jeff Hardy and Punk returning soon. Kurt Angle for one last WWE run would be interesting, but he's pretty loyal to TNA Wrestling, so I wouldn't say it's a given that we'll see him back in a WWE ring again. Nothing is set in stone though, we never know whether his allegiance to TNA will always stay the same for the rest of his career, but he seems pretty happy their as of now.

It looks like Daniel Bryan is tired of the shield as he went all Rambo on them and kick there arses, looks like he isn't the weak link, Smackdown was good, no Josh Matthews, no Teddy Long special, no shield beat downs, it was pretty damn good
