The opening match was awful. The only enjoyable match for me was the Orton vs Rhodes one. Everything else was meh.

I thought it was kinda f*cked up when someone in the crowd yelled out "CENA SUCKS" when they brought out the Make-a-Wish Foundation kids. I dislike Cenamania as much as anyone, but that's just a dick move.

Sounds like Ryda might had been in the crowd. To be fair it's a bit of a dick move to bring those kids out with Cena so the crowd can't boo him, while it's great for the kids, WWE doesn't really care, they're just using these poor, sick children to get John Cena's character over, which to me is a lot more f*cked up then chanting Cena Sucks while the kids are out there.

Exactly. Makes me sick how they try and get Cena to get cheered because he's out there with sick children. Pretty sure they're alot of guys in the back who do just as much, yet they don't come out for an applause.

This weeks RAW was pretty bad with some decent matches. Shield continues to impress.

And finally, poor Ceasro and Natalya. Their careers is just.... suicidal.gif

WWE has been in bury mode when it comes to young stars, Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, RyBack's going to get buried by Cena, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, even the WHC Dolph Ziggler gets buried by losing all the time in non-title matches and when he does when it always has to be by cheating because WWE keeps going with this f*cking stupid antiquated thinking that whenever a heel wins it has to be with a Dusty finish.

Gareth, did you send the hat and love letter to Kaitlen on RAW  inlove.gif

That is not the hat I picked!!!... I mean er, no that wasn't me ph34r.gif

I'll do reviews later this week or at the weekend, in short, Raw - meh, NXT - Good, Main Event - Holy Sh*t!.

Seriously Main Event was great this week, shame Ceasro didn't win as Creative have got nothing for him... f*cking 'tards, although the optimist in me hopes it a work and he'll get a push.

But I mean check this f*cking Dead Lift Superplex out from Main Event (sorry it's in B&W the source I got it from had it in this colour only)

That was the worst. They always do stupid sh*t to get Cena a cheer. Same with that Rise Above Cancer thing. You boo Cena, but then you feel bad because you boo the whole cancer cause it self. Then the sick kids come out with Cena and he calls them 'Superstars'.

You boo Cena then that means you boo that sick kids. F*ck you, WWE! Pathetic!

Holy sh*t do you guys have some chips on your shoulders or what ? I hate the way Cena is pushed by the WWE too, but you guys seem to go a step above with this sh*t.

Cena seems to be heavily involved with these charities in his personal life and it's cool with me if wants to promote it through the WWE. Better than another boring "I will rise above" promo or squash match.

Honestly, if you're so filled with rage at Cena that you can't hold your boo back while he's promoting some real charity sh*t then you need reevaluate how much emotion you're directing towards a f*cking wrestler.

tl;dr You guys need to lighten up.

I respect Cena in real life for being heavily involved in charity work, I don't respect however, the WWE taking advantage of the sick kids Cena helps to get his wrestling character over. Also, I read this the other day on Facebook, and if it's true then that really pisses me off

"Yesterday it was reported John Cena is feeling neglected by WWE & there is somewhat tension between him & Vince McMahon.

Not to forget he is 11 times champion!

Face of every freaking venture that WWE comes up with!

Despite disaster 2012 he was awarded 'Superstar of The Year'!

Was handed wins @ royal rumble and wrestlemania!

Has 3 hour Raw show revolving around him!

Has buried every main eventer in WWE of both RAW & SD

& with No Punk, no Rock & No Undertaker Cena will be hogging all the limelight ...... despite what Fans want

Still this Jackass is upset !! what does he want? to take over WWE as CEO?

All I see is another Hogan in making!! who will make wrestling look bigger of a joke than it is today!"

Raw starts off pretty much straight into a match... yeah I know, wrestling in a wrestling show, whodathunkit. OK it's a comedy match but was still good.

Ricardo Rodriguez v Big E Langston v Zeb Coulter - Winner picks Stipulation for (not anymore it isn't..) Extreme Rules.

-Considering only two of them are actual wrestlers (yes Ricky does wrestle as well), it was a good little bit of entertainment to start off with. Obviously Big E dominated even after the slapstick spit bucket attack by Ricky, after some back and forth and outside interference (Triple threat rules) Ricky pulled the win and Zebs britches out the bag.

Nice little heart warming bit about the Make A Wish foundation, one of those rare moments when you realise that Vince does have a little bit heart that isn't running with venom (/nods to Superstar Billy Graham).

Cody Rhodes v Randy Orton

-Actually a good match and for some reason Cody didn't look out of place either, probably because he wasn't doing some gimmick he was actually showing some aggression which looked natural and not forces like other gimmicks he's done, if he could continue with that he would actually get a little more over.

One of the Bellas v Naomi

-Not bad, still a lot of building to be done in the Diva's division and Noami could play a big part in this. The Bellas won after a cheat but it was reversed after the ref decided they cheated.

The Shield have a bit a word about well everything, until The Beibers interfere... and I actually thought for a moment wouldn't it be nice if they actually beat The Shield up for a change... yeah I know I was on the Beibers side for a change. Anywho Hell No came out and cleared house and then beat up the Beibers as well.

Ziggler v Kofi

-Not a bad match, both of them are aerial and can sell well, some great back and forth and Ziggler actually won, which was nice considering the run he had before cashing in and up til now, silly WWE scripting. Anywho after a mid match take down of Big E, Big E had 'words' with Kofi, which may be the start of a feud for the US title.

Kaitlyn and Natty and AJ all in the same segment inlove.gif ... you spoil me WWE, you really do. Still, that wasn't the hat I picked.

Some stuff about Lesnar, something about Ryback saying no to a match, something about Pizza and then back to resstlin'

Swagger v Ryder

-Ryder jobs to Swagger... WWE logic, get a guy who isn't over with the fans and has a pending DUI in the WHC title mix, and then get a guy who is over with the fans and apparently is a nice guy and get him to job icon14.gif

Some Tug of War shtick with Henry v The Tons of Funk and then Sheamus to come out and continue the "That's what I do" shtick.

Del Rio v Cesaro

-Cesaro made this match a good watch, and no Yodeling, yay. Still he had to job to Del Rio as part of the WHC feud thing, you know he's the 'face' so he has to look strong, even though we all know Ziggler is the real 'face'.

Fandango v Khali in a Dance Off

-Yeah they went there... nothing to say here, only good to see Natty. Least Fandango got the last word.

The Shield v Hell No/Cena

-Trying to build up two feuds at once here, not particularly interesting match, Ryback showed up in the end as he was supposed to team with Hell No. Usual build up to a PPV.

I heard Jericho and Bray Wyatt had a great match on NXT, has anyone here seen it and if so is it worth checking out?

Oh hell yeah.

WWE are looking for a broadcast partner in the US to get this showing more mainstream, hopefully they'll keep the same format and hopefully it will show that WWE can do some decent output that isn't full of shtick.

The Colons v The Wyatt Family v Bo Dallas/Adrian Neville - Triple Threat Tag Match

-Good match and some good booking by getting a couple of established guys in the Colons to play off the developmental guys. Good match with Bo Dallas and Neville who are now a Tag Team while Oliver Grey recovers from injury, dominating the most of the match. The Wyatts then started to take control the match whilst the Colons looked on, they eventually got in on the action and made it more even, Neville then got in the ring and after some ring clearance pulled off the pin over Primo with his corkscrew splash, only for Luke Harper to blindside Neville and take the match.

Buildup the next match with Paige and Summer Rae, who is now Fandango's dance partner, so please WWE promote Paige to feud with Summer Rae, better still get Paige to come out with Jericho as a Rock Chick Fozzy fan and Fandango and Jericho can continue their feud and then Summer Rae and Paige can continue theirs.

Summer Rae v Paige

-Great match, with some great chemistry going on between the two which makes it very good watching. Some good power moves as well as some great cheap shots and an excellent Indian Death Lock by Summer Rae. After a hard match Paige took the win with the Paige Turner which is similar to Kofi's SOS and a Side Russian Leg Sweep.

Bray Wyatt v Chris Jericho

-Bray could be the next NXT guy to get promoted... again (he's already been Husky Harris), if he does they better bring his theme with him, proper chilled stuff. Good match which gets some good time as well near enough 10 minutes, Bray does some great selling in the match and is quite agile for his size, a good 50/50 split of domination from both of them, the crowd were well up for it and were very vocal throughout, as was Brad Maddox who was on commentary, at one point he shouted loud enough for the ring side mics to pick him up. Near the end where was a great body splash spear by Bray Wyatt, which on another guy would have been the win. Jericho took the win with the Walls of Jericho before having some fun in the crowd.

Holy sh*t, best match of the week here.

Kofi v Cesaro

- Cesaro starts off the show with a backstage segment where he looks much better with his beret and aviator glasses, and no Yodeling sh*t. But now the match, and what a good match it was as well, even though Kofi won this, when it was played as well as this I don't mind and both wrestlers did a great job and lived up to their potential. Great amateur style mat wrestling and some great moves in and out of holds there were also some great sequences and then neat little tie up in the ropes on Kofi by Cesaro. Some near falls and good use of the Stomp in Kofi's injured leg, then a well executed half Boston crab, but the best one was when Kofi tried the Trouble in Paradise move that he won the title and Cesaro caught his leg and turned him in to a giants spin into another half Boston Crab, then there was that Dead Lift Superplex, pure power, even Cole and JBL where shocked at it. A near fall which Kofi kicks out of is instantly turned into another half Boston crab, after a near neutraliser a bounce off the ropes and Kofi finishes with a Trouble in Paradise.

Great match and the afters when Cesaro took a chunk of Kofi's Dreads, cool, if WWE Creative have nothing for Cesaro, then Cesaro is giving them a big fingers up by pulling off moves like that, I hope that WWE are working us and the are going to boost Cesaro up the card... I believe in Cesaro... BELIEVE IN CESARO ... wink.gif

Gabriel v Slater

-Bit of wind down after the earlier match, nothing that special, Gabriel took the win after a failed Superplex by Slater left him to finish off with the 450 Splash.

user posted image

R-Truth v Sandow

-Seriously Sandow needs better than this, I've drawn parallels with Triple H's early days and Sandow and Trips took a while before getting into the big leagues, although Vince doesn't have another daughter for Sandow to get the push he needs a better run and push. Truth took the win, as after all Superstars is the Warm Up Dark matches for the big shows.

Kaitlyn inlove.gif v Tamina

-Quite a decent match as both of them are powerful Diva's and it showed although some of this match was basically hair pull throws, Kaitlyn took the win with a stack up after a failed Samoan back drop.

user posted image

Ryback starts things off with a bit on the mic about not showing up for his Raw match, and he's getting better on the mic.

Ryback v Bryan

-Good match, with Ryback easing off on the overly powerful guy which he's been playing and showing a more even approach. Bryan was excellent in this match, kicks, suicide dives and submission moves, including the move of the week the half Boston crab and some fast and furious running drop kicks, Ryback was powerful kicking out of some good shots by Bryan and then getting into the grove with some big deadlift powerbombs. Ryback took the win after his shellshock.

Fandango v Ryder

-Fairly uneven match with Fandango continuing his push.

Kaitlyn is backstage reading my text message, but then Khali gives her some bad advice, don't worry Kaitlyn I'd get what he said either, but he's getting there.

Zeb is backstage getting ready for a match, and I have to say he's good at Promo's and I'll tell you why, even though the whole angle is crap. He does things naturally, and stutters and ums and ahhs and tries to think what to say next, and it comes across so normal.

Zeb v Ricky Rod

-Nice little comedy match, but it was kind of obvious that there was going to be an interference and since Teddy Long is in charge... Tag Match Playa, Playa.

Zeb and Del Rio v Swagger and Zeb

-Nice little comedy match, but it was kind of obvious that there was going to be an interference and since Teddy Long is in charge... Triple Threat Tag Match Playa, Playa.

+Ziggler and Big E.

-Nice little... well actually it was little more serious now, and Del Rio got the win since he's face etc. However am I the only one who thinks that actually the Triple Threat at Extreme Rules should also include Zeb, Ricky and Big E and make it a 6 way where managers and assistants also can win it for their guys.

The Shield backstage after beating up Bryan and stealing his belt.

Orton v Sandow

-Sandow actually getting some good opposition and also a good match, he also showed some fighting against Orton, he needs a better finisher and he could make the next step. Orton took the win with an RKO, I'd like to see a couple of more these matches over the next few months and to boost Sandow he actually kicks out an RKO much to the shock of everyone. Then Big Show disturbs his win to allows Sandow to do his finisher, pretty much an Orton move on Orton, so props to letting that happen.

Sheamus v Henry - Arm Wrestling

-Could see where this was going, yeah a face can pull off a dick move and still be cheered, wrestling hasn't changed one bit. Henry wins the right arm challenge and Sheamus cheep shots 'Lumpy' in the left arm challenge.

Kane v Dean Ambrose

-Good build up to this match as Kane clears ringside of The Shield and was a welcome return to Evil Kane. During the match Kane is very much dominant throughout, however Ambrose does get a little run, but Kane swings it back again. Ambrose does get the win with a forward DDT, the post match beat down doesn't go as usual as Kane rallies back and almost does a one man clear up job, however The Shield do eventually pull it back and finish the job.

There is talk that The Undertaker has been written off for a while after last week, but I'm thinking that's a work and and at Extreme rules we'll see an excellent post match after the Tag Title match (which hasn't been announced as yet but looks likely)

user posted image

Jey Uso v Darren Young

-Easy going match as usual for SMS, full of comedy moments like messing up Youngs hair, and Titus creating most of the outside ring entertainment. Titus is apparently Vince's favorite at the moment, even though he seems like a jobber at the moment, but I'm think that he's making him a slow burner project for the long term, it worked with Bret Hart and HBK as they were Vince's slow burners in the late 80's and look how they ended up. The match ended after Titus interfered, which lead to Foley making this a Tag Match... tip for you Mick, Teddy makes Tag Matches, Playa, Playa.

The Uso's v PTP

-A little more serious but still an easy on the eye match, The Uso's were more dominant in the early going and then it swung back to PTP after a little skit where Young pretended to trip on the steps and did the ol run around to tag in Titus who then did an awesome shoulder tackle. The match then switched back to The Uso's who got the win with the usual Samoan Splash.

Hopefully WWE will get something going this Monday, there really hasn't been any buildup to the Extreme Rules PPV, especially the main event matches Brock vs Triple H and Cena vs RyBack. The Ziggler, ADR and Swagger triple threat has had a little bit of build, but still not much :/

Cena intro - crap

Orton v Sandow - Good, hopefully the beginning of a Sandow push

Fandango v R-Truth - Not bad, a hell of a lot of shtick

Del Rio v Ziggler - Good, but silly Swagger giving Ziggler a concussion, hopefully after Extreme rules a de-push.

Kaitlyn inlove.gif

The Shield v The Uso's/Kofi - Not bad, thinking an all titles change hands match at Extreme rules with Hello No/Kofi v The Shield.

Cesaro v Zack Ryder - Good, hopefully the start of Cesaro's rise to power, nice pipebomb at the end.

Heyman/Brock/Triple H promo - Meh, but at least this build has been more interesting than the Wrestlemania build up.

The Funks/Kaitlyn v AJ/Bellas - Kaitlyn, AJ inlove.gif not bad.

Barrett v Sheamus - Average, if they want a good feud then turn Drew full heel, pair him up with Hot Rod as manager and feud with Sheamus, them two have worked great in the indies before WWE. Henry whipping left a few marks

Ryback v Kane - Not Bad, ending was predictable after Ryback won.

user posted image

Sandow v Baron Corbin - Not bad, Corbin is very wet behind the ears, can't pass that much judgement as only his first effort. Sandow wins.

Paige v Bayley - Good match, Bayley dominated most of it and put in a good show, the Diva's division is strong in NXT, hint hint WWE. Paige wins.

Sandow and Langston interview to set up a title shot next week, good showing by both in this, Langston is a hidden gem on the mic.

Sakamoto v Briley Price (Ziggler's brother) - Good match, Price could easily make the jump up and they could set off another Hart family style feud. interrupted by Conor O'Brien which probably means a 2 on 1 next week as Briley and Sakamoto sided with each other.

Ohno v Camacho - Great match, Camacho was great and looked better than he's done before, and Ohno was good as well and won. After the match Ohno was going to do a mic bit about being sorry for his recent actions and he was side swiped by Bray Wyatt, so it could be a face turn by Ohno.

The Wyatt Family v Bo Dallas and Adrian Neville (NXT Tag Titles) - Not bad, Dallas and Neville dominated but The Wyatts won and gained the titles, which is probably because Neville and Bo might be getting called up, although that's not stopped NXT champ Big E from working double duty.

Main Event

Randy Orton v Cesaro - Excellent match, Cesaro is really embarrassing creative with this performances even though he was booked to lose this one, he was more than equal to Orton. Again Cesaro is in the match of the week.

The Uso's/Gabriel v The Beibers - Average match which Gabriel got the win, still not seen a Beiber match that has had me interested.

user posted image

Ted Dibiase v Mike McG - Great match, seemed like a water tester for Dibiase and he did well and hopefully if creative pull their fingers out their arses they might bring him back into the big leagues.

Gabriel v Cody - Good match, I don't know if it's Cody's doing or creative have finally hit the nail on the head, but since they've dropped any sort of gimmick with Cody it's working and he's actually good to watch. Cody wins in a brutal match.

user posted image

The Highlight Reel is obvious setup territory for the main event as Y2J interviews Ryback

Kofi v Cody - Good match which Kofi as face champion wins (heel champions lose a la Ziggler)

Big E v Swagger - Aw Gawd Swaggers involved. Didn't really amount to anything but an all out brawl for all those involved in the WHC.

Bryan v Ambrose (aka The Smarks wank material) - Great match, Bryan is a beast when he gets going, Ambrose was also good. Ambrose won by default after Kofi got his revenge against Ambrose, hence my thinking of an all titles change hands match.

Henry breaks a record in a serious segment which I really though Sheamus was going to pop his head out of the window of one of the trucks and apologise for having his foot on the brakes... next time creative do this.

Big Show v Sweet T - Sweet T was all over Show until Shows one and only punch won it. Show then spears Clay before Orton RKO's him

Kaitlyn, AJ, Natty inlove.gif Khali... f*ck me, was actually funny.

Y2J v Ryback - Good match, Ryback is working better with the chains of being a face taken off as he was more free to do stuff and not be so rigid which suits him more, especially the Ry-Back chant he did mocking the Goldberg chants, classy. Jericho won by DQ, but that was not the highlight, Josh Matthews heel turn was, I wonder if they are sowing the seeds of a possible Josh v JBL feud, would be great to watch.

No Saturday Morning Slam this week as apparently The CW want to "Season" it much to the annoyance of WWE who prefer to have it on a continual run.

Gareth if you don't mind me asking, why does your sig say that Trevor is gay?

Anyways, wonder if the go home Raw this week will be any good, WWE has been on a role with making absolute f*cking sh*t shows recently, they need to step it WAY the f*ck up or sh*t's going to hit the fan and ratings are going to plummet waaaayyyy down even worse then they have since Rock and Punk left.

Isn't Booker supposed to be turning heel or something? I have no idea what goes on on SmackDown, I don't even watch Raw, just read reports, can't bear much of WWE's bullsh*t anymore.
