So what's this "People's Era" you guys you guys keep mentioning ? I wasn't aware the PG era had ended.

The Rock made brief references to this being the Peoples Era when revealing the new belt, and I'm pretty sure Cena made reference to it on Monday as well.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification.

Cool. We're off to new start. biggrin.gif Though, i think People's Era would still be PG though. confused.gif

The era that The Rock mentioned, personally I think it's still the PG Era as nothing has changed recently. It's still PG, still boring, still corny and still with Cena as the bland babyface champ. The People's Era is just to make people think things are going to get better so they don't leave the WWE.

This. I really didn't notice anything different either. The shows (with the exception of the past RAW) have been so generic, with your usual people getting the same types of matches over and over and over again with the same outcomes each time, and a couple of jobbers and fillers thrown in there.

Yep, it's just a buzzword to get people to not leave to watch TNA, btw the Jeff Hardy vs Bully Ray match at Impact was great PPV quality for free, John Cena vs The Rock was bad for TV match standards so for PPV it was terrible.

That's strange, RAWs over in America and no one has comment on how sh*tty it was, normally with all the posts you's do get me pumped up for RAW, but what the hell's the point

Only RAW im looking forward to is next week.

Brothers of Destruction/Hell No vs The SShield

I see Daniel Bryan as the only weak part of that team. But hes still a good matchup for maybe Rollins

I didn't watch Raw, and I'm happy that I didn't because I heard it was really really bad.

It wasn't that bad, although the crowd was sh*t. Had some pretty good matches:Cesaro vs Kofi and Swagger vs Dolph were good matches.

Who has Cesaro pissed off backstage? And how many US/IC championships will Kofi win?

I don't know, I'm only hoping they are doing the old get him to drop a mid card title to go for one of the big ones.

Kofi deff shojld be in a world title picture. Everytime hes gotten close theyve screwed him outve a win

WWE just seems to hate anyone with talent, Sandow gets buried constantly, Cesaro as well and Ziggler is WHC but will probably never win clean and lose on Raw constantly when the title isn't on the line.

Welp, they're prepping Ryback for "I jobbed to John Cena Club". Poor bastard. Also why are they having another HHH vs Lesnar match ? There's literally no f*cking need.

The Dolph vs Swagger and Kofi vs Ceasaro matches were good. I hope this Orton/Sheamus/Show storyline is finished, because it's really going nowhere.

Pretty average Raw for these PG standards. Although at this point blaming PG alone feels redundant, as the real fault is with the creative team.

Brothers of Hell No vs The Shield should be good next week, especially with a non-american crowd.

The show opens up with the build up for the main event of Regal v Ohno, showing all the past beat downs and in ring promos they've done

The Shield v Percy Watson, Axl Keegan, Scott Dawson

-The match was basically a job, the other three didn't have a chance as it was all about The Shield, as a result Keegan was face in this one having been a heel previous to this, whether this will stick or it was just of this match. Rollins got the win with his skywalk reverse neck breaker, they then did their Triple Power Bomb on Dawson. The Shield then did their post match mic work saying they run NXT etc etc etc. However Corey Graves did a little mini-titantron piece threatening to put them down, or Stay Down as his knuckle tattoos say... Rollins took the challenge. I would actually like to see Graves do it, he's got mean submission move... this ends up being a lumberjack match

Then a backstage piece with Summer Rae, who wants to be known as The First Lady of NXT... erm, a little too close to trying to be The First Lady of Wrestling Miss Elizabeth... which she'll never be. Then another bit Emma, who's nuts in a ditsy, clumsy way, not a psycho AJ way, would be perfect fodder for Santino Marella.

The Funkadactyls v The Bellas

-Decent match, in which The Bellas won again, probably part of the deal to get them back that they should win a dose a of matches. They did win with a fairly unique move a double rolling wishboney type of move, hard to describe but was effective and hopefully they'll show case it in the main roster for the ones who don't keep an eye on NXT

We then get a announcement for NXT in two weeks for Kaitlyn v AJ, Cesaro v Adrian Neville, Wade Barrett v Bo Dallas and Big E Langston v Brad Maddox, all title matches and considering NXT is taped in advance, I think we all know where this goes.

Kassius Ohno v William Regal

-What an hellacious match (to quote good ol JR), this was vicious in parts, Ohno ending up with dislocated fingers, Regal ending up with ear drum problems, brutal and very technical. Regal did get the win, although I don't think this is finished. However the last person who feuded with Regal like this... Ambrose, perhaps this is a WWE developmental rite of passage.

Tons of Funk and Kofi v The Shield

-This match needs no predicting, as it's as obvious who is going to win, although ToF did put up a good fight, ultimately The Shield won it. It's rumored that it will be The Brothers of Destruction/Bryan v The Shield next Monday, which I can see as being their first loss. Anywho usual post match Triple Power Bomb ensues on Sweet T and Clay.

Big E Langston v Zack Ryder

-YAY, Big E properly debuts and they are actually using his NXT theme... thank you WWE you do listen, although we do need the 5, 5, 5, 5, 5 chants and the one more time chants... but in time. Only one result on this which is hardly surprising, I do hope they keep Big E going with Ziggler for when Ziggler finally turns face so they can turn Big E at the same time.

Yoshi Tatsu v Jack Swagger

-One day your in a main event at Wrestlemania, next you've been de-pushed to work with Yoshi... no offense to Yoshi, I do feel he should be given more time than what he has. Unfortunately Swagger won which is annoying as I would like to have seen Yoshi upset the applecart and win this one.

The Uso's v The Colons

-The staple diet of Superstars is in full flight again, in what was actually a warm up match for Raw, the crowd give it away, but they weren't in full voice by this time. The Colons keep up their extraordinary losing streak, still wonder how this would have worked out if they actually went through with the Rosa Mendes/Del Rio hook up they teased and pulled before his face turn. I know we need these Undercard/Dark Matches but sometimes you just kind wish that occasionally they would shake it up a bit. No Prizes for guessing the winners, hint: they ain't Latino.

Khali v Darren Young

-Raw warm up again, this must have been the last warm up as the crowd were tuning up the band, obviously not interested in Khali but very interested in PTP. Yep you guessed the winner.

Big E Introduces a sore throat Ziggler... sorry... Doooooooooollpphh Ziggglleeeeeeeer. Usual post cash in mic work, although I think Ziggler had probably been cheering too much on Monday, his voice was f*ckered. Swagger makes himself know... yawn, Del Rio makes himself know... maybe, should we see Christian back to feud for the title...yes. "Break the walls down..." why not, Ziggler and Jericho play nice together, this sets up the main event, but that aside Jericho knows how to warm the crowd up.

Hell No v PTP

-The nth time we've seen this, and I would just like to see PTP actually pull this one off for a change. Quick match, Bryan takes it over Titus, The Shield make a video appearance doing the usual we didn't back down shtick. I will say the chemistry between Kane and Bryan is fantastic and I'm looking forward to their tag match with The Undertaker v The Shield.

Santino v Wade Barrett

-The comedy king returns, love him, hate him, Santino is comedy gold and does bring a smile... oh please change Wade's music, so bland. Obvious winner again here. While I'm at it I will mention big props to Josh Mathews for actually growing a pair and fighting back against JBL on commentary, I don't think it was in this match but he did it as some point in the night.

Sheamus and Orton twist Bookers arm to make a handicap match, with Teddy interrupting, which to me has a slight whiff of the return of Big Johnny and his managerial feud with Teddy Long, hope I wrong.

The Bellas & Tamina v The Funkadactyls & Kaitlyn inlove.gif

-Yes this match confirms that The Bellas must have a win streak clause in their contract as part of their return. Kaitlyn and Naomi were the obvious highlights, even though the cheap shot ultimately got Naomi pinned. Good quick match none the less, but only cause I got to oggle at Kaitlyn.

Triple H makes his post WM speech, blah, blah, yadda, yadda... I think Trips has lost his mic work recently, I think it was connected with his hair, ever since he's had it cut he's been crap, proper Samson stuff. Anywho makes speech, The Beibers interrupt, WTF, the The Shield want a piece, so they've been put back in that randoms attack mode, although since Heyman is rolling them it's hardly surprising considering the Brock connection, although The Shield did clear 3MB out the way until Hell No come to the rescue... and no this wasn't a side with Triple H this was a call out to The Shield, no more, no less.

Big Show has a beef with Booker, which has been brewing for a while... I'd like a feud at Summerslam with these two, a sort of one last ride for Booker, just so we can get Booker to pull off a promo "...And Show... we coming for you ni**er!" lol.gif

Sheamus/Orton v The Big Show

-Not a bad match, but Big Show walks giving the win to Sheamus v Orton, which means this isn't over yet, so we've got a couple of weeks for this to turn into a 2 on 1 for extreme rules, or... probably a feud between Henry v Sheamus and that leaves Orton v Big Show and then Ryback v Cena.

Cesaro v Kofi

-Also known as the Cesaro Screwjob part 1. Cesaro did a quick Yodel which is tolerable, but just stop it. Kofi won this which is kinda sad confused.gif

Faaan-Daaan-Go-oo makes his way ringside to watch on with Jericho and Ziggler, he's coming on fast this guy I hope they don't burn him out too quickly.

Jericho v Ziggler

-Great match, as always with these two... oh and it was during this match Josh had a right go at JBL. These two do work very well together, and there has been rumour that Fandango could feud with Kofi for the US Championship, how about they turn Ziggler face now and get Fandango and Ziggler feuding for the WHC, I think that would work. Ziggler wins this one due to a distraction, although Jericho was outnumbered from the start and gets a post match beat down by Big E and then Fandango.

Not a bad show.

Drew and Jinder v Gabriel and Ryder

-Average match with Drew stealing a tights pulling win, Kofi who was on commentary has a few things to say after The Beibers throw Gabriel and Ryder out the ring, which leads to Foley to come out and make a singles match of Kofi v Slater

Kofi v Slater

-Average match for the two midcards who are both fairly tepid, after several attempts Kofi gets the win with an SOS.

Bryan has a get together with Foley as he wants the assistants job to the GM, Henry turns up as he was supposed to have a match with someone however the interruption leads to Foley making the man event.

Bryan v Henry

-Henry makes his way to the ring with an instrumental track... guess you can't have "Ass Kicked" blaring through the airwaves in a G rated show. Obvious win is obvious with Henry slamming Bryan.

The Rock made brief references to this being the Peoples Era when revealing the new belt, and I'm pretty sure Cena made reference to it on Monday as well.

Cena just went overboard and said that because of the crowd on Raw. Yet that kind of crowd only comes around maybe once or twice a year. Tbh, wrestling crowds in general these days look like they couldn't give a single sh*t.

He's heel, Goldberg never worked as a heel but RyBack seems to be working pretty well as a heel, unfortunately he tweeted a diss at Cena and his ex-wife and now there seems to be some heat on him so he MIGHT be getting de-pushed.

Isn't it terrible when a Villain does something Villainous...

WWE Really needs to get their sh*t together. Apparently Punk and Creative is going rounds again. Add that to his knee injuries and it looks like we won't see him til Summer. BTW Payback is in Chicago HINT HINT.

Not much to look forward to. I'm excited for Shield and Brothers of Hell No. and that's it for the future. Dolph is gonna play second fiddle to Cena if he even holds the title for that long... dozingoff.gif

That being said I'm going to a House show in May up in Salt Lake with my Brother, Should be some good times.

I doubt it, it's not like he's DUI'd... but then again Cena is involved... so who knows,

No creative involvement, it is all down to injuries and exhaustion, WWE have taken him out of action on purpose to let him recover, apparently he's one of these too proud to admit it guys, and was basically told to take time off, in order for WWE to protect him and make him last longer by letting him recover from his injuries.

RyBack could have said that about anyone else and he probably would have been fine, but because it's Cena he gets in trouble, maybe some Cena politicking behind his Twitter getting completely wiped.

Hmm I read He was upset with Creative.

I like the injury scenario better(although it sucks he got hurt). I don't know how much WWE I could stand without Punk.

I read he didn't come out on the post-Mania Raw because he had problems with creative wanting him to look like a whiner.

So I couldn't hear anything from the commentators due to the completely silent/dead crowd last RAW...

Anyways Punk's promo was great, and unfortunately for Vince the crowd woke up and started cheering for Punk [and Taker]. I like how he left from the side entrance or whatever it was, which clearly indicates that he's going to be gone for a while. Can't wait for that moment he returns, specially if it's for a feud with Austin. I'm VERY sure that match is going to happen, sooner or later.

Also I laughed my ass off when Santino came out running and jumping and JBL was all "Lord help us."

Third thing would be Katilyn's boobs vs. Brie Bella. Brie controls this match for several minutes as Nikki distracts the boobs and the ref from the outside. Kaitlyn's boobs gets Brie up in a fireman's carry and drops her down with a gutbuster, but the Bellas switch places while the ref is distracted. Nikki drops the boobs down throat-first on the ropes and picks up a three-count. To be honest I would've rather seen Katilyn's boobs feud with AJ's ass.

Also someone's been closing his billed 290lbs weight to feud with Lesnar...too bad it's not going to happen on ER. Instead we get yet another rematch of HHH and Lesnar.

Anyways can't wait for next week's main event. Loved the names the WZ.com members gave to Hell No and Taker - "The Brothers of Destruction and the Goat of Destruction" and my favorite, "Two and a half Men" colgate.gif

Kofi Kingston may be turning heel...*WZ* if he turned heel he'll become Kony.

Finally they're turning Teddy heel and making him <span class="spoiler" onmouseover="this.style.color='#FFFFFF';" onmouseout="this.style.color=this.style.backgroundColor='#000000'">SD!'s new GM</span>. Tag team matches playa! Oh and WZ joke time - "What was Teddy Long's favorite game as a child? Tag"

That being said I'm going to a House show in May up in Salt Lake with my Brother, Should be some good times.

Hopefully you're going on May 24th, 25th or 26th, because you'll be getting HBK instead of Cena.
