This was by far the best ending to RAW in many weeks, it made me love this feud even more coming to Wrestlemania

Yeah, it was good build up for Punk vs Taker, made Punk look pretty strong going into Wrestlemania, even if I am nearly positive he'll lose. But Cena vs Rock and ADR vs Swagger never got a defining moment, that really got people excited for their feud.

RAW didn't add much to the hype except the HBK's announcement that he will be on HHH's side during the match and the main event featuring Punk, slinging more disrespect to Paul. I was hoping that Shawn would say he'll be the guest-referee during their match. Punk staging another dirty move gives me a fair clue as to who's gonna win in WM29. The Rock\Cena Promo could have been a little better. They should have had something like a "Final Face-off."

Yeah, you would have thought at the go home show they would have had Rock and Cena have one last face to face.

Looks nasty.

I would be posting my review right now of Raw, but I was nearly done, and it was good amount of stuff I wrote as well, but wanted to check something and I clicked the New Tab plus sign and then went to click on one of my quick bookmark buttons I've got setup and because my browser decided to have on of those duurrrrr moments it decided to open up the link in this tab I had jut wrote all my stuff in, and then I'd f*cking lost the whole f*cking lot... raging... f*cking raging, not even Edit-Undo could save it.

So quick review until then, as I'm just to f*cking raging to retype all that again.

Overall fairly crap show for a go-home, Cena/Rock, Triple-H/Brock, Del Rio/Swagger, basically the big titles and the main events boring the sh*t out of me, only the Taker/Punk and the undercard matches are enthusing me. However the last bit with Punk and Taker... that was just shocking... but so shocking it was just f*cking awesome, one of the best ends to Raw for a very, very, very long while.

Flesh-n-Bone

Last night is definitely the worst go home show for a Wrestlemania ever. It was pathetic. I wanted something between The Rock and Cena, not two separate sh*tty promos that reiterate the same thing they've said a million times already.

And Del Rio looks like he's got sausage pasted over his back on that pic lol.

Wow, until recently, I haven't watched wrestling since Eddie Guerrero (my favorite wrestler) died, and it looks like I missed too much.

Tbh, other than Randy Orton's rise into a permanent main eventer, nothing interesting has happened since Eddie and Benoit killed the business by leaving too early.

Did you try Control+Shift+T Gareth?

@Flesh. Yeah, felt just like a everyday show, by today's standards at least, back in The Attitude Era or Ruthless Aggression Era this show wouldn't even have been passable, but that's the PG Era for you.

OK I'll try this review again and hope I don't lose it this time.

John Cena opens things up with his take on what could be the most boring WWE title match for a long while, I'm flat lining with interest for this match. The crowd were strongly against Cena, they were either chanting "Let's Go Cena, Cena Sucks", or "Let's Go Cena, Turn f*cking Heel", would be nice if was the latter. I can't actually see the logic now behind not turning Cena heel. I get that he's this generations Hulk Hogan and Vince has this idea in the back of his head that like Hogan he can't turn Cena heel as he's a big face for the company, however there is one big difference. Back when Hogan was a major player in WWF, it was still technically a North East based wrestling promotion that was trying to get recognition outside of its native North East, so having a major face like Hogan was necessary to boost the companies image in the rest of the United States in an era where Kayfabe ruled. We're now in the 2013, WWE has full control of the US market, and if you were to even mention TNA, ROH or AJW outside of North America (except Japan for AJW), you'll probably be met with confusion as they'll only know of WWE, so WWE doesn't need "that" guy to promote the company like it did back then, plus when Kayfabe is dead you can get away with being a heel and still be the "good guy" out of the ring.

Sh-Ort-Mus v The Beibers

-Standard match, nothing special The Shield come out at the end to make their point. But on the subject of The Beibers, please disband them and let Drew go solo, then, and I know he was a little flaky on his last mic based appearance, bring back Roddy Piper and make him his manager and bring out the real Scotsman in Drew.

Zeb'n'Sthwag doing a political speech outside of Capital Hill, nothing special there, then De Rio giving his side of things, again nothing special there, again a Big Title match flat-lining with interest. Outside of Punk/Taker, the undercard matches hold more interest for me.

Bryan v Ziggler

-Great match probably the best of the night, which isn't surprising considering who they are. Ziggler takes the win and as a result Big E decides to make his mark on Bryan and Kane... oh and what a hold against the ropes Bryan pulled off.

HBK is up next to make his speech on the other main event match I really couldn't give a crap about... seriously this Wrestlemania is like the one 20 years previous, Wrestlemania IX, and that was a load of crap, lets hope the tradition continues and Wrestlemania XXX is class like Wrestlemania X was. Apparently Vince has been planning WM XXX for years and working back from there... to be honest I think he got to WM XXIX and had a brain fart.

Zack Ryder v Wade Barrett

-Nothing unusual here, Wade wins, Miz talks smack, next...

Santino returns to wind up Brickie, good to have the old comedy back, which sets up the next match

Mark Henry v Santino

-Anyone for Squash? short and to the point, and Ryback comes out to pull of the old "I didn't touch you routine" by using Santino as a battering ram... also known as the Booker-T Special, by getting around the no contact rule. The Teddy Long Special is Tag Team playa, playa.

Punk gives promo, but doesn't give away the ending to the night, this promo was good and to the point, for the only "Main Event" match of Wrestlemania I actually give a crap about.

Zeb v Del Rio

-Obvious match is obvious, if you didn't know what was coming then you've never seen anyone wrestle anywhere, anytime. Beat down using Ricardo's crutches.

The Rock is up next to give his side of the Boremania XXIX's Main Event, I doubt if they will, but I really hope that Taker/Punk closes Wrestlemania, cause this one will just make me fall asleep, unless Ziggler in the next few days or on the night gets the colour of his case changed, Rock wins and WM and Ziggler cashes in on The Rock, then I would mark the f*ck out.

Jericho v Cesaro

-Good match with some good mocking by Fandango throughout the latter half of the match... and why oh why is Cesaro not at Wrestlemania... WWE you disappoint... however there was a little Yodel in there, and I warned you WWE, just no... no, bad kitty, bad. Anywho Jericho took the win but Fandango had the last word with a beat down on Jericho, which is perking up my interest in this match, which I think could be second to the Punk/Taker match as my match to watch this year.

The Funkadactyls v The Bellas

-Not a bad match, the Diva's are pulling out the stops at the moment for being a star attraction to watch, I think it was kind of obvious that The Bellas were going to win, as I'm pretty sure the Mixed Tag match at WM XXIX will be the "Let's cheer everyone up" match, aka the designated bathroom break for some, or be between the Punk/Taker and Rock/Cena match, the typical cool down match.

Now the end of the show, this has been getting such a mixed reaction all over the internet, and I can see why, but I think this was the best ending to an episode of Raw for a very, very, very long time, it was dark, very dark and you could say sickening, however this was an edge I've not seen from WWE for a long time, probably going back to the fabled Attitude Era, and long may this continue. This was very emotional and at the same time awkward due to how this ending came about, as part of the sad passing of Paul Bearer, I really don't know how this would have gone had he not sadly passed away.

Overall the whole show being a "Go Home" show was poor, but that is probably on the back of the matches involved being poorly set up, the only shining light is the Punk/Taker match and the undercards, that despite little or no build up have actually grabbed my attention more than the so called big matches like Triple H/Lesnar, Cena/Rock and Del Rio/Swagger. As for this show only the end saved it.

Well, the show may be one of the worst ever, but at least the stage will be nice.

I like how Vince says he wants to have a "more mom and kid friendly product" and then clears having The Undertaker getting beaten by an urn and the supposed ashes of Paul Bearer being dumped all over him with Punk rubbing said ashes all over his body. Indecisive Vince is indecisive.

Also, rumor on the "big reveal" by Vince is that it'll just be him announcing who'll be singing America The Beautiful at the beginning of the show, how disappointing.

NXT returns to normality after what was basically a preview show last week, and joining Tony Dawson in the booth is Brad "The Mad Ox" Maddox, Kassius Ohno, who is excellent on commentary and with the right training and build up could be a good successor to CM Punk.

Bo Dallas and Adrien Neville v The Wyatt Family

-Good match to start things off with, Neville's tag partner Oliver Grey is out for 6 months due to an injury, so not really sure if they are going to let them keep the titles or not. Although a good idea would be to set Neville a challenge to retain it and turn it into a mid card NXT title akin to the Intercontinental or US title and then put the Tag Titles up for grabs again. Anywho back to the match, good match with the Wyatt's dominating the match due to their size, but in a sort of retribution for a few weeks ago, Neville makes the tag and Dallas comes in to clear house take the win with a belly to belly suplex, which still looks like a poor finisher for quite a lightweight guy like Bo Dallas, it worked for his dad cause he was a big guy, but Bo is a a little skinny for a power move like that, some form of kick, aerial, or submission move would be better suited to him.

A "Highlight" package follows of the Rock and Cena promos from Raw... yeah "Highlight"... then we cut back to the announce table where Regal comes out of nowhere and lays into Ohno, which sets up a match next week between them.

Summer Rae & Audrey Marie v Sasha Banks & Paige

-Good Diva's match which I've mentioned several times recently has been improving in quality recently, but the Diva's matches in NXT have been quality for a long time, just need the main roster to catch up which they pretty much have and the fans of the main roster to cheer the f*ck up and start making noise during the matches... it's a two way thing you know people. Audrey Marie pretty much dominated the match with Summer Rae making a few moves as well, until Sasha finally managed to tag in Paige and Summer tagged in Audrey and ran off, Paige took the win and ran off after her.

Conor O'Brien v Big E Langston - NXT title match

-The NXT Hoss fight, Conor is impressive and has really beefed up recently and could fit in nicely in the main roster, if they do bump him, which they were going to do as part of the tag team until his partner started a fight with a cop... dumbass, then they should really bring back the old Ascension entrance theme as it more awesome than the one he's got now. Plus I hope when Big E gets his own entrance theme on the main roster they use his NXT one and finally bring his NXT gimmick with him (and his shorts singlet, that grey one is too nasty... can see his breakfast). Anywho back to the match, fairly even match up, both big men and both pulling off moves to reflect their size, no real upset here mind as Big E retained with his finisher, which the crowd wanted again so he can get his five count.

The Miz v The Prime Time Players - 2 on 1 Handicap match

-The only match of the night was actually quite impressive by all involved. The Miz was on top form showing a lot of stamina for a handicap match which is probably an indication for the pre show on Sunday. However what impressed me more was that the Prime Time Players actually good a long decent match where they could actually wrestle without having to constantly gimmick themselves as they do normally in their usual jobbing role. I know Titus along with Fandango are Vince's two pet projects and I think it's about time he let the Big Deal off the leash (subtle reference there, OwRhah, OwRhah, OwRhah, OwRhah...), as he's got the interaction with the crowd going nicely, he's getting much better on the mic and his ring skills are getting better every week. I do think they should however stop that front face suplex onto their opponent as poor Darren looks like he busts his ribs every time they do it. The Miz finally took control of the match and settled it with his Rugged Ronny Garvin Figure 4.

The Rest of the show was all Wrestlemania fluff and nonsense.

-------------

Living Color will be playing CM Punk to the ring live at Wrestlemania... or as Punk tweeted it, "To and from the ring"... oh you.

CM Punk makes a silent protest during the Wrestlemania 29 Press shoot.

Makes me appreciate the guy more, it's shocking that one of the purest wrestlers on the roster isn't at Wrestlemania confused.gif

A Diva's title match might be added last minute to the card, or as part of a mixed tag team titles match where all titles change along with Hell No, Dolph and Big E... so this will get added and Cesaro doesn't. OK Cesaro hasn't had a feud build up to the event, but then neither has half the undercard matches. Although since they've got an hour long pre show to fill and there is only Miz v Wade, how about a mini tournament... or how about Cesaro interrupts the pre show and complains that he doesn't have a match... "...Go, If you close your eyes your life, a naked truth revealed..." cue a returning Christian, the US title already has some respect back thanks to Cesaro and a feud with Christian would be perfect to elevate it even further.

Fandango is excellent

Lets get a prediction thread going here, I'll kick things off myself:

WWE Championship:

The Rock vs John Cena: 2 ways I can see this going, Cena winning and gaining the respect of the Rock or Rock winning and Cena finally snapping and turning heel!

World Championship:

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger: Think Del Rio will retain but can see Ziggler cashing in after the match or on RAW the night after.

The Undertaker vs CM Punk: Gotta be Taker winning this one, can't see WWE booking otherwise.

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar (No Holds Barred match; if Triple H loses, he must retire) Triple H to win this one, don't feel he is ready to retire as of yet, will be a brutal match I think.

Ryback vs Mark Henry: Ryback winning this to give him a WrestleMania moment, hitting the Shell Shock on Henry will do that.

Sheamus, Randy Orton & Big Show vs The Shield: I Think the Shield will come out on top after Randy Orton turns on his team mates and finally turns heel once more.

Chris Jericho vs Fandango: Think this could well be match of the night, could go either way this one, But I think Jericho to win but he will make Fandango look a million bucks.

WWE Tag Team Championship:

Team Hell No vs Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston: This match seems like it could have AJ and Kaitlyn added to it to set up a 6 person tag with the Tag titles and Divas title on the line, Could see new Tag and Diva champ here.

WWE Intercontinental Championship:

Wade Barrett vs The Miz: Gutted this match is moved onto the pre show but hopefully Barrett retains, wouldn't be shocked if Miz won though to keep up his mini push.

Brodus Clay, Tensai, Naomi & Cameron vs Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins: Clay, Tensai, Naomi & Cameron to go over and have a big dance at the end with some fans and/or legends.

WWE Championship:

The Rock vs John Cena

-Cena, A lot of people will want The Rock to do it again cause they hate Cena, but then they realise that The Rock wants to go back to movies, then the conflict comes in that perhaps that's what WWE want you to think and they'll twist it so Rock retains... no they won't twist it Cena predictably wins

World Championship:

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger

-Del Rio, all the negative press surrounding Swagger's DUI isn't good rep for WWE, even the old "any news is good news" cliche doesn't save him. Plus WWE have pretty much stated that Del Rio and Ziggler are their main plans for the rest 2013 in the WHC scene... although I still don't think that Ziggler will cash in here as much as I'd like him to, but then I'd like him to cash in on the WWE title instead.

The Undertaker vs CM Punk

-Taker, Can't see any logic... not ever WWE logic in this going to Punk, I do however think that Punk will work this match to make it the most memorable of the streak, even eclipsing the HBK retirement match.

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar (No Holds Barred match; if Triple H loses, he must retire)

-Triple H, too poor a build up for this to be Trips last big game, they'll want to tie them 1 for 1 in recent matches before a final settlement match probably at Summerslam again, or a month later at Extreme Rules

Ryback vs Mark Henry

-Ryback, they've sh*t on Ryback too much in his last PPV's, and with Henry getting another injury recently in a house show, which so far hasn't effected this match, I wouldn't be surprised if Henry will have one last build up this year before calling it, besides Henry has been a long term servant to WWE.

Sheamus, Randy Orton & Big Show vs The Shield

-Sh-Ort-Mus, The Shield will lose this, but not because of the the other three, I think Ryback is going to pull a double duty and get his revenge on them.

Chris Jericho vs Fandango

-Fandango, This is tough one to call, very tough, but Jericho being Jericho will put Fandango over, in what is my second pick match of the night after Punk/Taker

WWE Tag Team Championship:

Team Hell No vs Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston

-Zigg E Langston, again a very, very tough one to call, coin toss this one, but probably Zigg E Langston edging it slightly.

WWE Intercontinental Championship:

Wade Barrett vs The Miz

-The Miz, he's on a roll at the moment, and they'll probably want to balance the titles out so there is an even(ish) split of heels and faces holding all the titles, so Miz will act as the balance.

Brodus Clay, Tensai, Naomi & Cameron vs Team Rhodes Scholars & The Bella Twins

-Tons of Funkadactyls, this will be the cool down match before Rock/Cena so the faces will win to liven the crowd up.

The Pizza Delivery Guy

WWE Championship: I really really want the Rock to win this and see Cena go heel, but that's only a dream at this point.

WHC: Del Rio for sure, as Gareth said it wouldn't do the company good. If Swagger hadn't gotten caught like that I could have easily seen him win the belt, but not now.

Undertaker's Match: When will they drop this side show? I don't think Punk will be the one, but whoever does snap the streak is going to be a WWE legend, so I hope WWE chooses wisely when the time does inevitably come.

Ryback and Henry: I want to see Henry in a little more action before he retires. I hope he wins.

RSBS and Shield: I think the Shield might get the call on this one, but get attacked by another wrestler (presumably Ryback) right after.

Jericho and Fandango: Probably Jericho. Fandango, surprising me even being in Wrestlemania already, will have a shot again soon, though

Tag Team: I think WWE will play the face card and Hell No will win. Might go either way, I'm not sure, but I'm sure they'll make it interesting

Mixed Tag: Meh, don't really care whichever way this one goes. I'll be more interested in the next match no matter how this one goes.

Intercontinental Championship

Wade Barrett © vs. The Miz

The Miz. The guy's been in a perfect shape to endure a torrid win over Barret. Loved how he had been gearing up for this.

I finally realise how awesome Miz is

World Heavyweight Championship

Alberto Del Rio (w/ Ricardo Rodriguez) © vs. Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Colter)

Jack Swagger. Yeah, Swagger wins , will go around airing his "We, the people" bull-crap with his "epic bearded weirdo" until getting beaten either by Del Rio or some other main-eventer in some other PPVs.

The Undertaker vs. CM Punk

Taker. Pretty sure this is gonna be the best match in this year's mania or atleat the only match worth watching this year's mania.

Sh-Ort-Mus vs. The Shield

Incoming spoofy, little creativty. This "Orton turning heels" match is already serving as a soiler to me . If this is actuallt true, then Screw Vince and the bootboy or anyone who took a quick glimpse on Vince's script paper

So, Orton RKOs both Sheamus and Big Show before walking away and setting the stage for a major character transformation, yeah? It's really gonna be a terrible reality to see Orton heading The Shield, given the past weeks where they unleashed hell on him and put him through immense level of pain. Going by the rumours, The Shield will defeat Show and Sheamus.

Ryback vs. Mark Henry

Ryback. Giants brawling in the ring has always been the one hell of a show and this is no exception. That being said, this match will be one of the longest matches this year's maina.

Tag Team Championship Match

Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) © vs Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston (w/ AJ Lee)

Ziggler and Big E. AJ Lee tries to distract but Kaitlyn interjects and beats down her. However, Big E neutralises Team Hell No and makes the finish.

No Holds Barred; If Triple HHH looses, he retires.

Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Triple H (w/ Shawn Michaels)

Brock Lesnar. It has always been a tradition in WWE to put a longest-running legendary icon or a main-eventer in a match with one of his rivals, and lay the famous stipulation, "Looser will leave WWE" and then when the main-eventer looses, he'll be given an emotional farewell the following week either on RAW/Smack Down. This is gonna happen once again except the stipulation part.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango

Fandango. At first, I thought this guy will serve as a good laughter for everyone but after seeing the way he had been dominating Y2J with, I came to the realisation that this guy means some serious business.

Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Tensai) and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars (Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow) and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella)

Uh..the former. I haven't been grappling much on this storyline so I am not really sure who to place my money on.

WWE Championship

John Cena vs The Rock ©

John Cena. After all the humiliations he went through, it's easy to predict that, he's gonna be the one who's gonna kick ass. Rock needs to go back to Hollywood and Cena will get the job done for him.

Change in my predictions.

Swagger v Del Rio

-Swagger, He wins dirty and gets a post match beat down by Del Rio, Ricardo and the rest of the Mexican ese's, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio, Ziggler cashes in, Ziggler wins.

Hell No v Zigg E Langston

-Hello No, why?, well...

Punk wants to tag team with Brock Lesnar after Wrestlemania and for them to feud against Hell No would be epic, Kane v Brock, old school fight, Punk v Bryan, IWC wankfest.

Brock should not be wasted on Punk in any capacity.

And WM may be very predictable but the fact that I'm excited about the potential turn for Orton and Cena is the reason why I still remain excited.

John Cena turning heel is the end of the PG era. There's no purpose for PG if he's a heel.

Anywho further to my change in prediction above about WHC match. Del Rio and Swagger are apparently already penciled in for a match at Extreme Rules, now this could be seen as a rematch from Wrestlemania for the WHC, however what I'd like to see and this would actually put Swagger out the picture for a while as well so they can re-evaluate his gimmick.

Swagger take a very dirty win for the WHC at Wrestlemania, Del Rio, Ricardo, Sin Cara and Mysterio who come to the ring start a beat down on Swagger and Zeb, Swagger is left beaten and Ziggler comes to the rings and cashes in and takes the title. Next night on Raw Swagger has a rematch with Ziggler, the match ends in a DQ after Del Rio interferes, Ziggler retains. Over the next couple of weeks Del Rio and Swagger continue their feud, at this time the WHC is not a priority, but they still have a match penciled in, they then setup a match at Extreme Rules, this match will be a ladder match for a special briefcase.

This briefcase contains two sets of documents put in the case by either side, Swaggers contribution is immigration papers that Del Rio needs to sign by midnight of PPV or else he gets deported and Del Rio's contribution, 2 sets of one way tickets to Mexico City. If Del Rio wins then he gets to sign the papers, stay in the US and one set of plane tickets with Swaggers and Coulters name on them are issued and Swagger and Coulter have to leave the country for Mexico, if Swagger wins, he can tear up the documents and one set of plane tickets are issued to Del Rio and Ricardo and they have to be deported back to Mexico.
