Dasutin
Hell of a lot faster. There are some trade rumors. Jake Plummer could be traded to the Texans, David Carr could be traded to the Vikings, and Larry Fitzgerald was also rumored to the Vikings. I don't believe the Fitzgerald one, though. The Cardinals have the cap space to keep him for a long time, there's no need to trade him. Also, Justin Smith of the Bengals was franchised for 8.6 million. Way to much for him in my opinion. I'd rather let him hit the open market than potentially pay him that much for one year. There's still the possibility that they sign him long-term, but once a player is franchised, for whatever reason, they take it as a snub. Dasutin
Both teams would get second day draft picks. I think I heard a 4th for either, but Plummer's not worth a four. gta_player5
Somebody I know thinks that Chris Leak of the Gators is going to do really well in the draft. I along with most of the analysts that spoke about Leak do not think he will be a first round draft pick. I don't think what he did during the "regular season" if you will was that impressive, he did have a good National Championship game but that does not get you drafted in the top ten. I don't really know, what do you guys think? I still think that Brady Quinn in the best QB in the draft, Das said back in the old topic that Troy Smith was undersized and average, I tend to agree with that. I think that he is a bit overrated as well, I think that it was mostly the whole Ohio State offense that made him what he was this past season. Dasutin
Brady Quinn is the best quarterback in the draft, but he won't go one. There's no doubt in my mind, that if the Raiders draft a quarterback, it'll be JaMarcus Russell. His arm strength is amazing. He can throw 80 yards down field, and I've seen it. In the Sugar Bowl, he was chucking it downfield effortlessly. It was just a jaw-dropping display of arm strength. He's all potential, but if the Raiders get full potential out of him, he could be one of the greats. Otherwise, he's Jeff George. Brady Quinn will be good, though. He's a game manager, who has the ability to take over the game. He doesn't make many mistakes, and he's incredibly accurate. He may need a big reciever to adjust, though, because they throw a lot of jump balls in the Notre Dame offense. D Jones
Brady Quinn is the best quarterback in the draft, but he won't go one. I think he is a good quarterback, but he crumbles under pressure and has lost value the past two years due to injuries and the simple fact that David Garrad(sp?) has taken the starting job and began winning. I think Brady Quinn will be a great future QB, but I think JaMarcus Russell a beast in his own state. We all know Raiders have a horrible o-line, and Russell is a good 6'5'' 250, which seems like a size who can handle a hit. I believe Raiders will go with Russell, and if the Detriot Lions are idiotic enough to pass up on Quinn, they deserved to be under new ownership. I am a huge OU fan, I love Adrian Peterson and I have watched all 3 years of him at OU. I believe he could've left the NCAA as a freshman and dominated the NFL at a young age. But, with domination is always a downfall. When he isn't running threw defensive lineman, or juking past linebackers... he is either jumping into the endzone breaking his collarbone, or slipping and spraining his ankle. He is injury prone, and that's why some people are questionable about him. B Rob
I was looking at the mock drafts and it looks like Denver will pick up Adam Carriker, DE, Nebraska. I hope not. I think we need help offensively not defensively. We could never score any points on offense last year. gta_player5
Can you pass the Wonderlic Test? I saw this on FOX Sports. I'm about to take the test now. That site that I linked right there also has the scores of some of the greatest players and of some well known NFL players. This should be fun. [edit] 9 correct= 50 4 correct= 22 8 correct= 44 3 correct= 17 7 correct= 39 2 correct= 11 6 correct= 33 1 correct= 6 5 correct= 28 0 correct= 0 I scored a 7 out of 9, which is equivalent to a 39, as you can see. This test is just a sample I believe. I wonder what the real test is like. I read an article on FOX Sports that asked "Is It Bad When Your Test Score is Lower Than Your Number?"
