TenaciousD.
I want to know when BBC4 are showing the second series of Mad Men. Does anyone know a good place to look for news about that or the best e-mail address to ask the BBC? http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcfour/feedback/
Hart
Watched Deliverance for the first time on ITV4 last night. I know this is what a lot of people say, but I really never want to go canoeing or camping ever. I know it'll never happen to me, but I'll have that image in my head. The beginning is so creepy while they are looking around the town, with all the inbred hillbillies, then it ends on a haunting image of the hand coming up from the water, its the first film in awhile that left me with shivers. Struff Bunstridge
Freaky film, that one, Hart. I remember seeing it when I was a kid, and it was probably the first film to ever scare me properly. Some of the pale imitations that have been and gone since only reinforce that, for me - Wrong Turn, anyone?
papanesta
Well, I watched Ultraviolet last night. The action scenes were pretty good, very very Equilibrium-ish though. But f*ck me, talk about cheesy. Some of the lines in that film... just wow. And Mila looked like she'd requested the camera be smeared with vaseline for every scene she was in. Hart
Just watched Highlander for the first time in ages on ITV4, forgot how good it was. Clancy Brown is a brilliant villain in this, I love the power of his voice, especially in the church scene. Hodgey.
Just watched Buzzcocks on iplayer. Was excellent, the way he ripped Lee Ryan was class. Yes ive just finished watching it like 20 mins ago. Lee Ryan seemed to take it well though, best bit was when he mentoined how all the Blu members had left there childrens mother, just classic. Surprised Amstell is still living after everything he has said on that show. But at the begining of the series i wasnt to impressed but as its gone on its got funnier although next year i think they need a regular captain. mark-2007
Going back to This Is Englnad, I didn't enjoy it at all. I just disliked it from the start when the skinheads started being friendly to a a young 'un like him. That, and the bit with the main boy and the way-older girl, were just really unrealistic. And I thought the ending was pretty sh*t. American History X is a similar film, and that was great. Also, a great Buzzcocks this week. I agree Hodgey - they need a permanent team captain. Russell Brand seems to be off the cards now. Anyone you can tip to become it? I can't think of anyone who is funny, and who also has the free time to take the job. I thought Noel Feilding did a great job when he filled in for Bailey for a couple of eps the last season but would he be able to do it week in week out ??? Also thought Jack Dee wasnt to bad but again hell have other commitments. Unless they decide to go with a up and coming comedian instead of established one. Alfresco
Because I'm totally pathetic, I watch xfactor, anyway I wet myself when James Cordon came on the show this week. I caught clips of it while I was at work on Sunday, and I was in stitches in the staff room when the pen bit came on. Was on my break 5 minutes longer than I should have been watching it and ended up getting a bollocking, but it was definitely worth it.

I love this show and I agree there needs to be a regualr captain. Robert Webb is on tonight as a guest; I think he'd makea great captain if he'd agree. Hodgey.
Watched Buzzcocks, when Amstell said "Yes you're ankles do look sh*t" I laughed so much. That has been one of my favourite shows for years, but sine Amstell came on its seems to be getting better and better each episode. Just wondering how long they can play on the Craig David and rabbit jokes, there up to three weeks already
Hart
I watched The Hills Have Eyes Movie remake last night, what a horrible movie. Both in its violence and crappiness of it, although to be honest I wasnt expecting much. Robert Joy is a really rubbish baddy in it aswell. Although its the first time in awhile I was really rooting for the good guys to win. I really wanted Bobby (Guy with glasses?) to get his baby back and kill those bastard freaks. Especially the one in the chair who cant move, but he gets f*cked up by the dog, so its all good.

Skyline_Mad
Did anyone see Top Gear this evening? was pretty good like usual, but the bit i liked was when Jeremy was testing the new Ford Fiesta, one part involved a corvette chasing him in a shopping centre (all staged like usual), didn't think this sort of thing would be alowed for a TV show lol. Heres it is on YouTube:
Ronnyboy
I love Top Gear, and good god that is awesome. I don't know who to feel bad for, the Corvette owner, the clean up guys at the mall, or the fact that the guy in the Corvette got beaten!

I don't know who to feel bad for, the Corvette owner, the clean up guys at the mall, or the fact that the guy in the Corvette got beaten! Or the fact that they spent so many hours scripting and shooting the chase, with stunt drivers in a very coordinated manner that was unlikely to cause any damage to either the mall or the cars. You know... because... it's not real, man. That was an outstanding part of a really good episode. Even when Jeremy was doing the review like an old style episode of Top Gear (or current episode of Fifth Gear, ha) I thought it was pretty damn good. You know, when he wasn't testing boot space in terms of Zebra heads or testing the car's performance at beachhead assaulting.
