Vanillainy
As long as they keep Simon Amstell on it, it's great. He's a much better host than Mark La Marr. Simon Amstell for me is the funniest guy on TV. He has me in stitches, just my humor. Buzzcocks is my favorite TV show, without doubt. He really does make me laugh, never liked the old host much. The Identity Parade usually has me laughing when he's doing their names.
Eddie280
Simon Amstell is great. I'm not sure Bill has left though. I think he's just touring at the moment so people are filling in for him during filming, same way Noel Fielding filled in for him last year. At least, I hope so. The Unvirginiser
There's just something about Simon's facial expressions that cracks me up. The identity parade is always hilarious, just some of the names they come up with.

mark-2007
Yeah, Simon Amstell cracks me up the most on it. The three of them worked really well together. The jokes are still good, but they should get a permanent team captain for next series and it should get some of the same kind of camaredery, or however you spell it, going on. They did the same with Amstell, I think, had a series or two of guest hosts after Lamarr finished and then hired Amstell, who was one of them. Noel Fielding was good last year when he filled in last year, but I can't see him having enough time to be a full-time replacement. Russell Brand, although the episode is next week, would fit right in I reckon, and people may soon be tiring of his solo stuff. Any guesses as to who they'll replace Bill with, if they do so? hick
Dead Set starts tommorow 10pm on E4. I don't know what to think of it yet since i haven't seen any advert's about it or anything, how do you guy's think it'll be? i've heard that you see Davina as a zombie at someplace in it, worth watching just for that. Youtube it, you'll find quite a lot of adverts/teasers. I'll probably watch it, though I dont have that high expectations. This could rise or fall, depending on how good its shot. Tony Mozzarelli 80
It's a great concept though isn't it. I remember Frankie Boyle saying something similar on 'Mock the Week' I reckon that's where they got the idea. But hopefully it's done well/ I Skyplus'd it anyway
DeeperRed
Sorry If its all ready been disscussed but Fonejacker! Talk to me. Never miss it, Personally its one of my favorite shows on TV right now.
hick
Personally i'm bored of it. It's like Little Britain... i can only take so much "yeahbutnobut" and "that one". Catch phrase shows that go on for too long always end up seeming unimaginative and cheap to me. I know that Fonejacker isn't 100% catchphrases it's about 80% about the person's reaction but that doesn't stop it from getting boring, theres only so many ways a person from the general public can react on a phone. I'm currently watching the history of Maths, i thought it would be pretty dull but i'm actually enjoying the series, pretty interesting, i've always enjoyed BBC documentries, better than any other channels. Master of Pain.
I Watched Body of Lies with Crowe and DiCaprio. It was all right. I honestly was expecting a lot better. It was entertaining and pretty enthralling, despite the fact it covers like 10 countries. I generally dislike movies that try to "cover a lot of time." Either way, the performances were pretty good. Leo pulled in another wonderful performance for me. I think it lacked anything worthy of Oscar consideration, but that's partially because I assume a lot of amazing stuff will come out during the award season. It was fun, but not necessarily worth seeing in the theaters. There are definitely some scenes that were good in there though, lots of loud explosions and such. But i thought the bird got bit in the office early on and it didn't seem to affect her
hick
Dead Set- Good concept ruined by sh*tty actors... and a break every few minutes. I must say though the guy with the moustache was cool.... and the wheel chair zombie he ruled. Edited October 27, 2008 by hick

And they said it was available online straight after. I'm guessing on 4OD. I thought the acting was good. Jaime Winstone is always good, and the guy that played Marky especially as well. "It smells like fingering in here." EDIT: There was just an advert for tomorrows... looks like it's just going to get better.
hick
It's proberlly that i'm used to real people in big brother, so seeing actors in the big brother house wasn't the same and it proberlly highlighted the fact that they were acting alot for me. See that skull in pieces on the floor? bit strong f*cking hell.

I'm a fa**ot when it comes to gore, i once managed to sit through Saw 1... f*cking horrible, those visions of people dying are in my head forever and i'll never be able to get rid of them. I must admit though the ending was brilliant! I actually thought Davina was good at acting in Deadset, great when she signs wanker with her hand on the phone to the producer . CCPD
Just saw Dead Set and its not bad at all. Not as good as Dawn of the Dead 2004 (in my opinion the best zombie movie), but better than other sh*tty remakes. I didn’t like the fact that “zombies” were using their hands to know in the doors instead of using the strength of their full bodies.
