Pretty nice, i doubt this is the maxinum tho, with these volts might go a bit higher. Got 1055T to 3,8-4GHz to windows, but couldn`t get it stable, and when i places volts to 1,475v, CPU-Z showed 1,525v, which is too much for air, i handled prime for 8 mins w/ 3,8GHz but then too high temperatures and BSOD... :>

You have 6 (45nm, right?) cores at 3.50, I have 4 90nm cores at 3.25.

3DMark06 has been known to be very CPU-dependant.

 

Soon I'll have 8 45nm cores.

Well, it's a future-proofing measure. The entire setup wasn't all that expensive. (Didn't cost any more than an average i7 rig with the same GPUs and half the RAM.)

I'm pretty sure 6 cores is all you'll ever fit in an AM3 system, where as I can fit up to twelve cores in my system.

Your motherboard supports 3 GPUs, mine supports 4.

 

When ever I save up more money, I can improve my system performance to higher than most other peoples with out upgrading my motherboard or RAM.

It's just that at the time, this system cost LESS than the 780i/Core 2 Quad/8Gb DDR2 system I was planning on getting. So I went for and I have to say I'm glad I did.

On my smaller screen, using 32" doesnt feel good, and its so laggy and unclear on 1920x1200, its only good on 1280x1024, so its the same using my 17".

No, if you look closely at the last letter of Awesome you can see a long thick white bar stretching from it. I don't know if it's just my screen or what.

 

That's a nice setup, i'm going to have to experiment with the colours too. But does anyone know how to get the Hud vision weather app working?

 

Edit: NVM, found out Accuweather isn't supported anymore.

Case: Antec P182 Black (wanted a Lian Li , maybe next time).

Monitor: 24" Viewsonic.

 

Four new upgrade/replacement items for my main, gaming set-up:

 

CPU: i5 760. Will be modestly OC'ing in the next few weeks, probably to 3.6ghz.

RAM: 2x2GB Mushkin Ridgeback 1600 6-8-6-24 1T, running @ 1333 and slightly lower timings until I OC.

MB: Gigabyte GA-EP55-UD3.

OS: Windows 7 Professional x64.

 

 

After 5+ years on XP, and totally avoiding Vista, I didn't think the 7 transition would be easy, but it was really smooth. Don't know about older games yet...may have to dual-boot for that.
