If you hadn't spent all of your money on big a** TVs, ya could have gotten some walls and some where to better store your games biggrin.gif

walls are soooooo 2005.

and i do have a place to store my games, but it is farther than a foot away from the 360, therefore there is less of a chance of them ever making it back to the rack smile.gif

What's that system-display on the far right called, and is it desktop-only, or does it sort of dock and stay visible?

I've been looking for one like that, verbose but not unsightly.

Conky.

By default it sticks to the desktop, but you can give the option to let it have it's own window, that way you can use your window manager to make it always on top or whatever. Config file I'm using can be found here.

Love that desktop lesfleanut, looks so cool smile.gif.

Yeah, it's really cool looking. Normally I go for something with bright colors and vectors, but that image really caught my eye. Hey whats that windows live messenger in your toolbar? Did MS do away with MSN messenger?

Not at all, it's an upgrade for MSN Messenger, I presumed everyone had it now actually. Basically it allows colors in names and some other cool add-ons, and some scripts. I'll post a screenshot of it if you like smile.gif.

Awesome background, where did you get it?

It's just a modification of one, you can found the original and mine in this package :

Cool, thanks!

This is just a tryout of the new RDP 6.0 bundled with Server Longhorn. XP is the host, Server Longhorn is running on VmWare 6 Beta. I'm remotely running Server Longhorn applications "seamlessly", meaning that I don't have to run the whole desktop, like with older versions of RDP. This is a great solution to run remote applications. Of course, on a large scale I guess it'll need some real horsepower (Imagine a whole company server hosting X application to their clients). meh...

If only rdesktop could connect to RDP 6.0, then I wouldn't need seamlessrdp to run windows apps on linux seamlessly.

Trying to keep it kinda empty with icons.

Do it the easy way

Right-click on the desktop->Arange icons by->uncheck Show Desktop Icons

Right-click the taskbar->Toolbars->Desktop; make it as small as possible, it should show only "Desktop"

Click the arrow and all of your "desktop" icons are there.

It might take a bit of getting use to though.
