Not a fan of clutter me.

 

 

Mac OS X, nice and simple.

Your wallpaper makes me drool. Reminds me I have to make a new wallpaper, since I got my PS working again =)

Got a new Monitor, 24" HP w2408, which i have running at 1900 x 1200 res.

 

Oh my god, I used to run off a sh*tty LCD tv that was 14" and went up to 1024 x 768, and now using this, everything looks amazing, games, Adobe PS, 3dsmax, the internet.

 

Big monitors are so worth it.

What's the point of having icons of stuff you have on your launchbar? Hell, what's the use in icons when you have a launchbar?

But you realise that the toolbar you downloaded takes up a lot of space on your computer? They're not necessary when you've got everything you need in your task bar. I had one because I thought they looked good.

Are you talking about object dock? Because it really doesn't take up many resources. I don't have my windows box booted otherwise I'd tell you some numbers, but I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to post theirs.

Well Vista is not as bad as i expected. but why does it need 700mb ram to be idle

Ye i had some moments that i wanted xp back but i dont want to reinstall everything.

And ye, i have something with city wallpapers, always have a wallpaper of a city.

3.1 is too contrast-y. neutral colors are easier on the eyes (i work on my pc 12+ hours a day), and a clean desktop helps me find files faster since i use it like a temporary folder. like i said, all business

But what about pastel colors? They look good and don't kill the eyes.
