Please dont mind the dilapidated desk, it has served me well for a little over 10 years for being given to me for free(always use a cutting board when using a hobby/exacto knife...)
I guess you could say this is the "family" PC. First, I'll list the specs.
Wow, this topic is so old haha. It survived so many Windows versions. If you look back to page 1everyone still used Windows XP. Windows 7 might be the new "XP" now.
I think i already posted a screenshot of my desktop here on this topic a long time ago, maybe i can find it again
Lol you're still using the Windows Classic Theme? Haha awesome.
Resolution is 1920x1080 on all pictures but has been reduced by tinypic.com. Below is my desktop on stationary PC.

Now you know something about my little "mainframe" inside the rack cabinet I have in my bedroom...
I really need to upgrade my current laptop. I have this thing for 5 years now. Served like a real soldier, squeezed every hertz out of it. During those 5 years I've had Windows XP, Ubuntu (many different versions), Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and now running Windows 8.1.
I am planning to upgrade for a while now, but cannot do it at the moment, so I guess I'll be getting an SSD soon to extend the life cycle on this thing.
Operating System: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit

Updates. I'm sorry that my desktop is so messy because of the files, not sure how all of those got in there...
Anyways, will probably try to keep the theme something close to what it currently is, black and white. Small changes here and there whenever I have some time and interest to do so.
That's a sick BMW. Nice choice.
Recently updated to Windows 8.1 from 7.
Decided to fix it up a bit. God knows why the quality of the screenshot is terrible though.
I think some image hosting sites lower the quality because they're over the file size limit. I thought reducing the size of my screenshot would work, but it didn't.
Nice layout, btw.
Currently OS X Mavericks, soon OS X Yosemite.
Dat Triple Boot Doe
Ubuntu with a Cinnamon theme (I prefer Mint but it didn't work well with UEFI, I couldn't get it to boot).
OS X Mavericks 10.9.4
Just out of curiosity, why would you need a triple boot system?
What kind of work flow requires this..?
I just did it as something to do, and its nice to have that option. It wasn't hard either to get it running.
My bae, with super cool enhancements for extra viewing pleasure
Picture of the desktop, too big to have directly on the forums

I own an HP Pavilion g6 and it's 4 years old now, never crashed on me once. I'm too attached to it tbh especially after having to wait a month to buy it after the old one's motherboard died. It was tragic. Anyways, here's my desktop, nothing too fancy:
It's running Windows 7 Home Basic.

I like Windows 8, honestly.
