Does that mean you're letting other people use your fans?

Likely my last case for a long time. There are 16 now, and I have run out of room to store all of them.

Bought stands for monitors. They do sound a lot better when decoupled from the desk but unfortunately that also revealed a few significant flaws with the frequency response (harsh upper mids and treble, slightly v-shaped sound).

There are spirals used for wire tuck and they are very cheap and the best way to manage wires is to direct them all to only one place. All plugs go into a single stabilizer (or a no-break which is what I have) or at least have a multi power plug input. Then you will have only one wire going straight into the wall's power plug. Buy a few tabs to roll the wires and you will have a good result.

@The_Human How difficult is it to make something like this? Arch-Linux has to be "hand-crafted" right?

Answer:

I need to learn not to mess with this niche OS anymore. It's f*cking pointless and time-consuming.

Hmmmm.

Minimalistic. Too much software garbo at the taskbar.

@BlackScout Well, ricing wm is independent of the distro you're using. And you don't really have to worry about Arch Linux since it has excellent documentation.

All in all, I would say it's pretty easy if you can follow instructions.

If you hate Arch Linux way too much, then I wonder what your opinion is about Gentoo.

@The_Human I don't hate any distros. The problem is that it was a pain in the ass to set up some of the basic stuff.

I was actually pretty lucky I got most of the initial setup correctly. Even if the guide was a bit confuse and dense. I guess previous experience messing with VMs and Dual-Booting Linux to build Android helped me.

In my situation, the problem was that I had LightDM set up as a display manager, but the Xorg Server or whatever wouldn't start.

(LightDM + KDE Plasma)
All I got was a blank screen (after log-in), hours of my time lost and a broken-ish OS inside a VM.

Hence I decided to delete it and screw everything...

To be fair, I hardly know the world of Linux. (Having only used Linux Mint and Ubuntu distros). I can get by with my limited knowledge about some commands* but that's about it.

*ls, cd, man, chmod, nano, vim, pacman (for arch), sudo, apt sh*t, free, cat, etc.

About Gentoo, I have no idea what it's like.

In a nutshell, Gentoo is all about choices. And you have to compile everything (there are some binaries in the official repos for things like Firefox, Libre Office, etc).

You get to select the bootloader, init system (Arch Linux doesn't support anything other than systemd, but Gentoo does), etc. Gentoo is ridiculously difficult to install, so much so that the installation guide (handbook, as they call it) has chapters in it. Since it is all about choices, it can be extremely minimal. It boots like a crazy f*cker sometimes, in seconds.

There's also a news that someone went suicidal when installing Gentoo and got admitted to the hospital.

P.S. I promise I won't spam this topic with Linux sh*t anymore. :D

P.P.S. Hit me up with a PM if you feel like you want to talk about Linux.
